Capsule Quilt Shop suite
We have a new suite of products designed to coordinate with our Capsule series! This time with a warm and cozy quilt theme. The “star” of the show is a quilted star, surrounded by pretty details. Like our other suites that coordinate with our Capsule series, there are tons of mix and match options between the various elements in the suite. The stencil set makes it easy to stencil that pretty quilt-pattern panel, the embossing folder adds gorgeous texture, the red rubber is great for quick one-impression designs, and the die opens up lots of layering options! Endless mix and match options when also combining this new set with previously released items like our Capsule Basics die, Fixed Borders Large die, Basics embossing folder, etc!

Quilt Block Builder Stamp Set & Shortbread Shapes: Rectangle Quilt Blocks Embossing Folder
We also have a new addition to our Rectangle Shortbread Shapes series! This one once again coordinates with our Shortbread Shapes Rectangle die, and features the sweetest little quilt blocks. Use them as a full panel for backgrounds, or snip them apart to use as individual elements. We also took these cute quilt blocks and created them in stamp form in our new Quilt Block Builder clear stamp set. The larger blocks from the set are the same size as those found in the Shortbread Quilt Blocks embossing folder, so they work nicely with the Shortbread Shapes Rectangle die or Rectangle Labels die. The tiny quilt blocks from the set coordinate with our previously released Checks Out stencil and/or die (both the A2 and 5×7 versions).

Today’s new products will be available individually, but they’ll also be available via an easy-shop bundle. The Noel Needleworks bundle includes the seven new products introduced above.

Time for some projects!
First up, a tag and card suite using alllll the Capsule Quilt Shop goodies! I put together a video where I show the process for putting together all four of these projects. It’s so fun to stamp, stencil, diecut, emboss, and then mix and match all of the pieces to create lots of different looks.

Here is that video for you!…
This duo of 5×7 cards uses the Capsule Quilt Shop stencil, die, embossing folder, background stamp, and Elements stamp set. The only additional items use are the Capsule Fixed Borders Large die, and topped off with a Regency Bow No 1 die with a few little leaves and berries cut with the Bigger Holiday Botanicals Holly 1 die.

This A2 card and tag are also shown in the video. The card is a simple cute and cozy shaker card. These use the Capsule Quilt Shop Background stamp, die, embossing folder, and Elements stamp set. Both also again use the Regency Bow No. 1 die.

For this next duo, again I used all of the elements from the Capsule Quilt Shop suite. For that cute little house focal point I used the Quilt Block Builder stamp set and embossed it with the new Shortbread Shapes: Rectangle Quilt Blocks embossing folder.

This one uses the label from the Capsule Quilt Shop die, stamped with a sentiment from the Elements stamp set. I also tucked in a few greenery sprigs in each, which were cut with the previously released BotaniCuts Juniper die. The shaped base was cut using the Capsule Basics die and embossed with the Capsule Basics embossing folder for that pretty detail around the outer edges.

This next one again uses the Capsule Quilt Shop stencil, embossing folder and die. I also pulled out an older die, Hoopla Oval, to create the fun embroidery hoop. The quilt star fits just perfectly inside! The sentiment here is also an older set called Christmas Sampler Sentiments, cut with the matching die. I also again tucked in a few BotaniCuts Juniper sprigs. That pretty outer border was done by diecutting some woodgrain cardstock (from LCI Paper) with the Quilt Shop die and embossing it with the Quilt Shop embossing folder.

I loved how the Hoopla Oval die worked so well with the quilt star that I made a whole bunch of tags using just the star from the Quilt Shop set. I used the stencils to stencil just the star portion of the design, not bothering to stencil everything else since I was just going to diecut the stars using the Quilt Shop die. I had fun playing with lots of different color combos! I filled each Hoopla Oval frame with a Hoopla Oval Insert and one of my quilt stars. The sentiments were stamped with the Quilt Shop Elements stamp set. I also used the Elements set to stamp the little accent pieces used to embellish them. I added a few Juniper sprigs and one is topped off with a Regency Bow No. 2. The little hanger from the Hoopla set is the perfect way to tie these to packages!

Up next I went a little more glam! I had a panel of that pretty Wafer Mohawk cardstock in my scrap bin that had been stamped with the Sweetest Frames Capsule set with the center cut out and it looked so pretty layered over a Quilt Shop embossed panel of the same color. I added a star that was diecut, stenciled, and embossed with the Quilt Shop items. I popped it up with some foam tape and also added an additional label, diecut with the Quilt Shop die.

The sentiment is from a set we released last year that I’m still using the pants off of – Simple Holiday Mini Sentiments. They all fit nicely on that little banner in the Quilt Shop set! I can’t forget to talk about that pretty frame around the outer edge – I used the Quilt Shop dies to cut it from Antique Gold Stardream shimmer cardstock and embossed it with the Quilt Shop embossing folder.

Up next, a trio of A2-sized cards that use elements from the Quilt Shop suite and also some cute stamped quilt blocks done with the new Quilt Block Builder stamp set. The frames on each of these were done by cutting some woodgrain cardstock (again from LCI Paper) using the Capsule Fixed Borders Small die, then adding that embossed beveled edge to each using the Capsule Basics embossing folder. I love how the little elements from the Quilt Shop suite look when they are cut from the woodgrain paper and embossed with the embossing folder…they look just like little decorative wood carvings! I added some to each of the Capsule frames, on the red one I added the corners.

Inside each frame is an embossed Quilt Shop panel, cut with the Capsule Basics die. I also embossed some A2-sized panels to use for the backgrounds. Trimming these down to A2 leaves just enough of that pretty embossed design showing around the edges. Inside each is a stamped quilt block done with the Quilt Block Builder stamp set. The quilt blocks are framed out by using a combination of dies – the outer square is from the Shortbread Shapes Rectangle Labels die and the inner scallop is from the Shortbread Shapes: Rectangle die. The little hanger was cut with our Hang it Up die, topped with a tiny bow from the Market Place Holiday Festoons set. The sentiments were stamped with the Simple Holiday Mini Sentiments set.

Next up, a few fun projects using the new Shortbread Shapes: Rectangle Quilt Blocks embossing folder and the new Quilt Block Builder stamp set.
This first little duo uses the Shortbread Shapes Rectangle die to create the shaped card base and the grid for my “quilt”. I used a combination of embossed and stamped squares. So fun to play with lots of fun colors for these! Stay tuned tomorrow…I’ll be sharing a video how-to for these. I added a cute bow to the top of each, which was cut using our Bow Bookmark die. The little holly accents are from one of last holiday’s dies – the Bigger Botanicals Holly 1 die.

This next one again uses the Shortbread Shapes Rectangle die to create the shaped base and the new Shortbread Shapes: Rectangle Quilt Blocks embossing folder. I stamped three little quilt blocks using the Quilt Block Builder stamp set and again framed them out with the Shortbread Shapes: Rectangle die. The scissors was cut using an older die called Notionable. That little scissors has always been a favorite! The “sew” portion of the sentiment was cut with our Stitched Sentiments die, another older set. The “merry” portion of the sentiment was stamped with the Capsule Quilt Shop Elements set and cut with the label die from that set. That Bigger Holiday Botanicals Holly 1 die is also really getting a workout, lol.

Next up, I couldn’t wait to pair those tiny quilt block images from the new Quilt Block Builder stamp set with our Checks Out A2 and 5×7 Border dies. I cut them from kraft cardstock and layered them over cream card bases, then filled in all of those blanks with the those tiny quilt block images. In the center of each I put some embossed panels, done with the new Shortbread Shapes: Rectangle Quilt Blocks embossing folder. The labels were cut and stamped with the Quilt Shop Elements stamp set and die. The greenery and berries were done with an older die called Rosemary & Berry. If you love to just sit and stamp, these are such fun ones for that!

And last but no least, I had to step out of the holiday zone for a bit and use the Capsule Quilt Shop elements to create a sweet baby card. I stenciled everything in soft shades of pink, green, and yellow. The sentiment is from the Capsule Quilt Shop Elements set, stamped onto a diecut label from the set. I tucked a few sprigs of baby’s breath behind the sentiment, which were cut using the Big Branches Baby’s Breath die. We have lots of little bows in various sets which could be used as an accent, this one in particular is from the Diamond Ribbons die.

That wraps up my projects for today, but the team has so much more to share with you! I hope you’ll hop along and check out all of their beautiful creations!

You’ve once again knocked it out of the park Betsy! Gorgeous cards. The colors and textures! I’m so excited to play with this release.
Quilting and embossing folders are a match made in heaven! Also, I see that the big die set makes like a fancy postage-edged frame, and I’m very excited about that. Gorgeous samples!
This is so special. It’s such a vintage feel.
Question, if we want to hold the shipment to wait for the other weeks amd bundle the shipment and hopefully save in shipping costs, will this be a possibility? Love ALL the product.
Love these needlework products! They bring back memories of my Grandma who was a fabulous quilter. I also appreciate how you always use some of the previous release products with your new items.
