Hello, crafty friends! Lea Lawson joining you today, and I’m excited to share a sweet and springy project with you! This is my Spring Jardin version of the Shortbread Shaker card! If this design looks familiar, it’s because it’s the same shaker style I created for the Valentine’s Day release featuring the Shortbread Shapes: Scalloped Hearts 3D embossing folder & die set paired with the BotaniCuts Strawberries die. One of my favorite things about the Shortbread Shapes suite is how seamlessly they come together, no matter the theme. Once you’ve made one, you can recreate it again and again for any holiday, sentiment, or seasonal moment you want to celebrate!

For today’s project, I swapped out the Valentine palette for fresh spring colors and dressed it up with the lovely Spring Jardin elements, including the Bigger Botanicals: Jacob’s Ladder die and the Simple Spring Mini Sentiments stamp set. The result is a cheerful, floral shaker that feels perfect for welcoming the new season!

There’s a corresponding YouTube video available for this card, so if you’d like to see the assembly in action, be sure to check out the video below. It walks through the full process of creating the shaker element and shows just how easy it is to customize this design for whatever occasion you have in mind!
Thanks so much for joining me today. I hope this inspires you to revisit your Shortbread Shapes dies and create your own seasonal versions — they’re such a joy to make and even more fun to share!

These are so pretty, Lea. At a quick glance, the ‘hello Spring’ one is more like Xmas with the vibrant red and kelly green…. Both are knockout pretty!

Beautiful spring shaker card! So lively especially with the pop of red florals. Thank you for the lovely spring inspiration!
