Hello there! It’s my turn to share a project for The Greetery and I couldn’t wait to show you what I made!
I used the recently released Winter Crest stamp/stencil/die & Crest No. 2 die combo to create a pile of Christmas gift tags that I think might be what I end up using for our neighbor gifts this Christmas! I just love how they turned out, with them all coordinated but each one a little different from the next. This is my favorite way to create tags. It keeps it simple by using one cohesive color palette, while also keeping it interesting because I’m not making an identical pile of the same thing!
The main Winter Crest die has a little decorative hole at the top, and when I saw that, I knew it would be just perfect to use for tags! It’s a small hole, so you’ll need to use twine or something similarly thin to hang your tags with.
There’s no hole in the top of the Crest No. 2 die cut, so if you want to layer the crest-only diecut on top of the larger floral/crest die cut, simply cut out the crest and then run it through your die cutting machine again, with it laying in the larger floral/crest die. Just roll it through the machine just enough to cut the hole and then back it out and you can layer it on top of the larger die cut and your holes should line up perfectly! Or alternatively, you could just use a hole punch.
You don’t have to layer the crest on top of the larger floral/crest die cut if you choose not to! You can simply let the stamp do the job of adding the crest detail! I love all the options with this set.
The berries die from the Rosemary& Berry die set works great with glitter card stock, to add a touch of sparkle and interest!
Have you started making gift tags for Christmas yet? I hope this has given you some inspiration to get going on some tags of your own!
