Hi creative and crafty friends! It’s Wanda here today on The Greetery Blog! Hope you’re doing great and having fun getting ready for the holidays! I love to make Christmas cards, and also make lots of pretty crafty things to put around the house… I’ve been getting everything ready for a cozy holiday! For my project today I created a classy and elegant Christmas card using the beautiful Banner and Bough Stamps, Stencils and Dies, and the Snipped Snowflakes #2 dies. I used a classic color palette and some woodgrain paper to evoke a Woodland Christmas too!

My finished card is an A2 Cream card base, layered with woodgrain paper and vellum, and then the gorgeous floral spray. I started by stenciling the Banner and Bough florals, then stamping the stamped parts, and then die cutting it out with the matching die. I love The Greetery’s stencils/dies like this. It makes it so easy to get a beautiful result.

I die cut a couple of the Big Branches Pine dies out of green cardstock to place behind the flowers spray. I also die cut a big gold snowflake and placed that behind the spray too. I mounted the floral spray to the card with foam squares to make it pop. My finishing touches are pearls, glitter and gold paint splatters – all my favorite things!

That’s it for my project for today! I hope you have a fantastic and creative day! Wishing you a wonderful December and all the magic of Christmas…. It’s my pleasure to share with you all year. Blessings to you and your families. I look forward to sharing with you again soon – in the new year!! In the meantime, happy crafting! XO Wanda

Beautiful! Love the pop of festive color against the craft background. Thank you for the terrific inspiration!
This is beautiful!!
I did not see the stamp, stencil or die for the banner itself…only the words. Please send info on that part of the beautiful design
I think the banner is part of the stencil, I can just make out the first image on the instruction sheet in the background (top left hand corner) as a banner
Hello Carol, the banner is included in stencil form in the Banner & Bough stamp + stencil set. There is a die included in the coordinating Banner & Bough die that can be used to cut the stenciled banner design as well. I hope that helps, but if you’d like a visual you can also check out this video. 🙂
So gorgeous! My yard is definitely an example of woodland beauty right now…we have gotten 18″ of snow since last weekend. It is beautiful to behold, but the travel isn’t very easy. Glad we don’t have to get out in it. Very cold and windy too! I love watching your home transformed into a holiday wonderland. You always make such beautiful things. I love how Betsy’s products make us all look so good. TFS and happy holidays.
So wonderful! You all never cease to amaze me 💕
