Market Place Lover’s Lane die and stamp set
We have some fun new additions to our Market Place line! A stamp set filled with new shop names inspired by LOVE and a new set of dies for embellishing the buildings, filled with heart banners, wreaths, and more.

Bitty Blooming Hearts stamp + stencil & die
We’re also continuing our “Bitty” series with a new addition. This one features bouquets of blooming hearts. Like the other sets in this series, it’s a single impression red rubber plus a single stencil for quick and easy backgrounds. The coordinating die cuts all the little bouquets in one quick pass.

Diamond Hearts die & stencil
We also have a new addition to our “diamond” series. Along the same lines as our Diamond Ribbons and Diamond Foliage, our new Diamond Hearts perfectly surround the cute bouquets in all of the Bitty sets, including the new Bitty Blooming Hearts. Diamond Hearts is available in die and strencil form – they can be used together or independently for lots of design options!

Coquette Hearts embossing folder, Whole Hearted die, Filigree Hearts die
Filled with heart and feminine details, our new Coquette Hearts 3D embossing folder can be used for beautiful backgrounds, or diecut the hearts using the Whole-Hearted die for individual accents, tags, and more. The Filigree Hearts die coordinates with the three largest hearts from the set, allowing you to add pretty, ornate frames (much like our our Capsule Filigree Borders die!)

Let’s get to some projects and see all of these new goodies in action!
First up is a whole collection of tags created using various elements from our new collection combined with some previously released goodies!

- The heart shaped tags were created by combining the solid hearts cut with the Whole-Hearted die and the Filigree Hearts borders. Several of them were embossed with our new Coquette Hearts embossing folder.
- Our Hang it Up die works wonderfully with the new Filigree Hearts die, turning them into pretty tags.

- Cut some of the hearts from acetate (transparency sheets you can pick up at any office supply store, etc work great) and add the Filigree Heart borders, then top them off with some diecut flowers. I pulled out a few older sets…BotaniCuts Rose and BotaniCuts Forget-Me-Nots.

- Several of the tags also use the Regency No. 1 and No. 2 bows we released this past November.
- For the vintage images (stay tuned tomorrow!), they were diecut with our Capsule Basics die and topped off with the Capsule Filigree Frames, cut from vintage gold metallic cardstock.

Up next I have a few projects using our previously released Market Place dies paired with the new Lover’s Lane die and stamp add-ons. I had to go ahead and make another tri-fold card like I did for the holidays! You can check out this video for a how-to.

This time the buildings are all decked out with heart garlands, fun romantic shop names, and of course…glitter! I chose a color palette of pinks, shades of red (ranging from bright tomato to darker ruby red, and a dusty bluish lavender.

Up next I have a set of shaped cards again using the Market Place No 1, No 2, and No 3 dies paired with the new Lover’s Lane shop names and details. I had diecut these shaped card bases last October when we released the Market Place dies, but never got a chance to put them to use! I opted for a bit of a non-traditional valentine color palette and added in some bright blue and minty green to my pinks, reds, and lavender.

To create the shaped bases, diecut a folded piece of cardstock using just the outline/building base from any one of the full-sized Market Place dies, positioning it so that the left side of the building extends beyond the fold so as to not cut through the fold. Then open it up and use the building detail (the piece with all of the window cut-outs) and cut those from just the card front. This will give you a shaped card base with window-cutouts on the front.

So cute! Embellish to your heart’s content, or keep them on the simpler side! I also added the “sweetheart stationery co” sentiment from the Lover’s Lane stamp set to the envelope flaps, along with some tiny hearts cut with the Whole-Hearted die and embossed.

Up next I used the new Whole-Hearted die and Coquette Hearts embossing folder to create some chocolate box cards. Cutting and embossing some red velvet paper for the “box” makes these look so realistic!

- The Coquette embossed hearts look like little heart-shaped chocolates when cut from brown cardsotck!
- The Curio: Confections and Curio: Divider & Details dies were used to to add a few more “chocolates” and also to create the divider.
- The bow on chocolate “box” was created with the Recency Bow No. 2 die, cut from mirror gold cardstock.
- Everything was arranged and layered onto a Capsule Basics card base.

- In addition to the Capsule-shaped card, I also made some smaller chocolate box notes. So cute for little tags or enclosure cards!
- The heart-shaped base was created by cutting a folded piece of cardstock using the largest heart in the Whole-Hearted die
- Inside, there’s a stamped sentiment from a set called Simple Valentine Mini Sentiments (we’ll be introducing that set tomorrow!) and a few more “chocolates” which were cut using Whole-Hearted and embossed with the Coquette Hearts embossing folder. The sentiments on the outside are also from this set.

Up next are a few projects using the new Bitty Blooming Hearts and Diamond Hearts!

The Bitty Blooming Hearts set is so fun for quick backgrounds that don’t look quick! Here I stamped the foliage in green, then stenciled all the hearts using shades of pink, red, and purple. The Diamond Hearts stencil was used to add just a little shading around the heart bouquets. Then I topped it off with a Diamond Hearts diecut, cut from white cardstock. The outer scalloped frame was cut using the Frosted Frames die. The focal point is a heart cut with the Whole-Hearted die, embossed with the Coquette Hearts folder. The sentiment is a set we’ll be introducing tomorrow, called French Kiss…LOVE the font mix on this one!

Up next is another simple one using the Bitty Blooming Hearts set and Diamond Hearts die. This time the heart blooms were stenciled using a broader mix of colors…pinks, reds, blue, yellow for a bright and fun color combo. I also added in a bright tomato red border, which was cut using the Postal Frames die (I used the negative!), and another sentiment from the French Kiss set that you’ll be seeing more of tomorrow.

Up next I again used the Bitty Blooming Hearts stamp + stencil, but this time also pulled out the coordinating die so I could diecut all of those little heart bouquets and pop them up with foam for lots of pretty dimension. This time I added them to a darker background, which was also stenciled using the Diamond Hearts stencil, then topped off with a Diamond Hearts diecut. The darker pink detail in the center of the hearts on the Diamond Hearts was also done using the stencil.

I added my Bitty Blooming Hearts panel to a Capsule Basics oval (just hand-trimmed the excess), and added it to a Capsule-shaped card base. It’s topped it off with a pretty wavy border, which was done using our new Sweetest Frames: Capsule Edition stamp set and die (you’ll see more of this set tomorrow as well!). The focal point in the center is a Coquette embossed heart, framed with a Filigree Hearts border. The sentiment banner is from the new Market Place Lover’s Lane (the cute little bows, too!).

Lastly, I have a few non-valentine cards using some of the new goodies being showcased today!
First up, I created a wedding card using the new Whole-Hearted die and Coquette Hearts embossing folder. This is a 5×7″ card that uses the full Whole-Hearted/Coquette Hearts panel. I couldn’t wait to try embossing those pretty hearts onto the woodgrain cardstock I’ve been loving lately! I added some dark brown ink blending over the top to bring out the embossing a little more.

To create the top layer, I took a piece of the same woodgrain cardstock, but in white instead of kraft/brown (yes, it also comes in a creamy white!), diecut all of the hearts using the Whole-Hearted die, then embossed just the negative and layered it over the top with some foam tape for extra dimension.

For the floral sprigs, I pulled out my Best Bouquet Details die, cut a few of the greenery pieces as well as a few blooms, then snipped them apart and tucked them here and there among the hearts. The sentiment was stamped with the Signed & Sealed With a Kiss stamp set and matching die.

Lastly, a simple baby card. This one again uses the Coquette Hearts embossing folder, but this time I trimmed it down to an A2-sized card and used it as more of a background. The embossed panel is again woodgrain cardstock, but white instead of kraft. I took the largest Filigree Hearts die and layered it over the largest embossed heart image, which I kept at the center of my card panel by trimming the panel down around it.

To finish it off, I added some individual hearts cut with the Whole-Hearted die, embossed with the Coquette Hearts embossing folder. I popped some of them up with foam for extra dimension. The sentiment is from a previously released set (Folk Heart Sentiments stamp set and matching die). I also added that cute banner and doves, which were cut using the new Market Place Lover’s Lane die.

That wraps up my projects for today, but I’ll be back tomorrow with more product reveals and projects before the new collection goes up in the shop on Friday, January 23 at 10am EST.

Someone please tell me how to win the lottery—because I want this entire suite! I LOVE making Valentine cards. I belong to a card making group here in my town and we make Valentine, Easter, July 4th, Veteran’s Day and Thanksgiving cards for residents in care facilities. There are 26 of us and we make on average 400 cards for each of these days. (We don’t do Christmas because their families do a very good job of remembering them on that day, plus we are are very busy with our own Christmas cards.)
