BotaniCuts Tomatoes die, Vine Ripened stamp set, & Tomato Tomato stamp set
You say tomato, I say to-mah-to! Whatever way you say it, nothing says summer like red, ripe tomatoes. We have them in a few different formats…a stand alone BotaniCuts die, or a stamp version in our Vine Ripened stamp set. We also have some fun coordinating sentiments in our Tomato Tomato stamp set.

Checks Out A2 & 5×7 Border dies and Checks Out stencil
You’ve gotta check this out! New borders for both 5″ x 7″ and A2 cards in both die and stencil format. These fun dies cut a checkerboard full-perimeter frame. There are also checkerboard strips included in each set as well, for even more options. The checkerboard borders are also available in stencil form and are the same size as the dies – both the A2 and 5″ x 7″ stencils are included in the set.

Rolling Hills embossing folder & Rolling Hills Bella Terra Additions
Back in 2021, we released a die and stencil set called Rolling Hills. It’s seen some fresh inspiration lately – most notably Kelly Lunceford’s amazing card from our March release! We thought it also fit in perfectly with our La Dolce Vita collection, so we have some new additions! There is an embossing folder (which can be used with the previously released Rolling Hills stencil and/or die), and a stamp set for adding an abundance of blooms to the hillsides, reminiscent of Tuscan lavender fields!

Countryside Villa Jumbo & Countryside Villa Mini dies
Next up we have some cozy Countryside Villa dies. The Jumbo version is generously-sized and can be used to create shaped cards and more, while the Mini version is perfect for scene building with our Rolling Hills suite. Each set also contains a few trees, and the Jumbo set includes window flower boxes for embellishing the front of the villa.

Shortbread Shapes: Rectangle Tiles embossing folder, Tile Style stamp set and Tile Style Background stamp
We have a new add-on for our Shortbread Shapes: Rectangle series – a gorgeous tile-inspired design. Like the others in the series, it coordinates with our Shortbread Shapes: Rectangle die. We loved these pretty tiles designs so much that we made a few other products as well…an all-over red rubber background and also a clear set that features the tiles as individual images instead of an all-over background.

Simple Everyday Sentiments & Simple Everyday Mini Sentiments stamp sets
Next up, we’re continuing our Simple Sentiments series with a few new additions. Like our other Simple Sentiments sets, these are designed to work wonderfully with our Shortbread Shapes Rectangle Labels dies. The sentiments are the same in both sets, just done in different sizes, just like our other Simple Sentiments sets. These new Everyday additions include sentiments for all of your most popular card-making occasions…birthday, anniversary, thinking of you, sympathy, baby and more.

Cottage Tile Background Die & Cottage Tile Stencil
Last, but not least, we have a new background pattern in both die and stencil form. The Cottage Tile die cuts a pretty pattern – sized to fit up to a 5″ x 7″ panel, it can also be used on smaller A2 panels and more. Try using it with our Capsule Basics! The Cottage Tile stencil features the same cute pattern, but in stencil form.

I have SO many projects to share! Let’s get to it.
First up, let’s dive into a bunch of fun and colorful tomato projects! Have you ever seen anything so summery? 🙂

Let’s take a closer look at each of these. This first one I’m calling a tomato sampler, lol. When I think of tomatoes, I instantly think “red”, but they come in so many colors…from red to pink to orange, yellow and green. I had fun playing around here with all of those different colors.

I used the Shortbread Shapes: Rectangle die as my base, which created a grid, perfect for filling each space with a tomato. The BotaniCuts Tomatoes die includes separate little tops in addition to the vine, so that the tomatoes can be used individually as well. The outer frame of the Shortbread Shapes die was cut from red and embossed with the new Shortbread Shapes: Rectangle Tiles embossing folder. I added a sentiment from the new Tomato Tomato set and just trimmed it by hand. I also diecut the stem and leaves from the BotaniCuts Tomato die, snipped it apart and tucked the leaves here and there.

These next two are very similar in layout, I just changed up some of the details. They both use the new Ciao Bella Borders stamp set and die to cut a window from the front panel. I added the BotaniCuts Tomato diecuts over the top, and backed each one with something to add a little more interest. The blue one has a panel that was embossed with the new Shortbread Shapes: Rectangle Tiles embossing folder. The yellow/gold one uses an older product – our Square Dance die and stencil, to create the plaid-like pattern peeking out from behind those cheery tomatoes.

The sentiments on both cards are from the new Tomato Tomato stamp set. I love the “thank you from my head tomatoes”!

This last one uses the new Checks Out A2 Border die to create that fun checkerboard frame. I cut it from a panel of white cardstock, then added it to a blue card base so the blue checkerboard shows through. I added a panel of red cardstock that was embossed with the new Shortbread Shapes: Rectangle Tiles embossing folder and topped it off with a branch of bright green tomatoes.

I also couldn’t resist sharing this large stamped panel using the Vine Ripened set. I sometimes I have attachment issues, lol! I couldn’t bring myself to cut it up and incorporate it into a card…I was just enjoying how pretty it is! I need to put it to use though, and I’ll be sure to share my project once I get up the nerve to cut into it, lol!

Next I have a few more projects that use the new Shortbread Shapes: Rectangle Tiles embossing folder. If you watched yesterday’s video you got a preview of these projects. They use the new Citrus Fields die, embossing folder, and stencil as well, so I shared them in yesterday’s video.
First up is this blue and yellow duo.

The larger card is a 5″ x 7″ card that was stenciled and embossed with the Citrus Fields suite. I started with some beige cardstock (Wafer from Mohawk), which gave it a rich, sort of rustic look. I added a Ciao Bella Borders frame. I added a little dimension by using the Citrus Fields die and just used some of the individual elements to layer over the embossed/stenciled design rather than using the full assembled cluster/bouquet. I love how it just adds some interest and doesn’t take away too much from that pretty background. The sentiment is from the new Simple Everyday Sentiments set, stamped onto a Shortbread Shapes: Rectangle Labels die.

This smaller card from the pair uses the Shortbread Shapes: Rectangle die, embossed with the new Rectangle Tiles embossing folder for my base. It started with a light blue cardstock, which I then brushed with some darker blue ink as well as white paint to give it a really rustic look. Then I just added the Citrus Fields diecut cluster and a sentiment from the new Simple Everyday Sentiments set, again stamped onto a Shortbread Shapes: Rectangle Labels die.

One more before we move on! I have been craving pulling out my watercolors, and this seemed like the perfect opportunity. I diecut the Citrus Fields bouquet from watercolor paper and just had fun playing with my paints and blending lots of colors on the leaves and lemons.

For the background, I again started with a panel of Wafer cardstock and stenciled just a little around the outer edges. I didn’t bother stenciling the whole panel because I knew I was going to add the embossed Shortbread Shapes: Rectangle Tiles panel and over most of it up. After stenciling, I embossed it with the Citrus Fields embossing folder, and also brushed some white paint over it to make it nice and rustic. I did the same thing with the Shortbread Shapes panel, also brushed a little brown ink over it. The sentiment is from the new Rolling Hills Bella Terra Addition stamp set.

Next let’s look at some projects using the new Tile Style goodies.
This first duo was just plain fun to stamp and stencil. I started out by stenciling the checkerboard frames using the Checks Out stencil, onto A2 panels. I did one with blue ink and one with red. Then I took the Tile Style clear stamp set and used the tiny tile images from that set to stamp all of the different patterns. Super easy and fun to do – it doesn’t have to be perfect! If they are a little wonky it just looks more realistic, like real vintage tiles, lol. I used various shades of blue ink for the blue, and various shades of red/pink for the red one.

Each one features a Shortbread Shapes: Rectangle Label diecut in the center, with a tile that was embossed with the new Shortbread Shapes: Rectangle Tiles embossing folder. The “thank you” sentiment is from the new Simple Everyday Mini Sentiments stamp set, heat embossed with white embossing powder.

I added some flower sprigs around each as well, using some of the Bigger Botanicals dies…Oregano, Mallow, and Gensita. I put red flowers on the blue one and blue on the red. I love how summery these turned out!

Next up, I expanded on the idea I used above, and this time stepped it up a notch or two! I once again started by stenciling some panels using the new Checks Out stencil. I used white cardstock, and did both an A2 panel and a 5″ x 7″ panel. I did the stenciling with a light creamy beige ink. This acted as a positioning guide for again stamping those tiny tile images from the Tile Style stamp set. This time I used a variety of ink colors.

Once I was done with the stamping, I used the Checks Out A2 and Checks Out 5×7 dies to cut panels to layer over the top, popped up with foam adhesive for extra dimension. I love how they almost look like a patchwork quilt!

The 5×7 card was finished off by adding a panel of beige cardstock that was embossed using the new Shortbread Shapes: Rectangle Tiles embossing folder. Over that I layered a floral bouquet, created using the new Coastal Cuttings die. The “hello” sentiment is from the new Ciao Bella Borders set, cut with the matching die.

To finish off the A2 card, I used some tomatoes and leaves, cut with the BotaniCuts Tomatoes die, and a few flowers from the Coastal Cuttings set. The sentiment is from the new Simple Everyday Mini Sentiments set, stamped onto a SS: Rectangle Labels diecut.

Next I have several projects that use the new Countryside Villas and Rolling Hills additions. These turned out to be some of my very favorites from the release! So many possibilities with these sets!
Let’s start off with this watercolored 5×7″ card. I mentioned earlier in this post that I’ve been missing my watercolors…I once again pulled out my watercolor palette for this card. I embossed a panel of watercolor paper using the new Rolling Hills embossing folder and just has so much fun watercoloring the hills and the sky.

For the hills, I really tried to vary the colors, ranging all the way from steely blues to greens to yellow, and even some golds. The sky has some tinges of pink as well for a dreamy look. To create the scene, I stamped the rows of flowers using the new Bella Terra Addition stamp set, cut them with the matching die, and layered them over my watercolored hills. I went over the stamping with a wet brush to add a watercolor effect to match the rest of the look of my card. I diecut the Countryside Villa Mini from watercolor paper as well, and watercolored that too, then assembled it and added it to my scene. The final finishing touches were the trees (I used the trees from the Mini set as well as the Jumbo, for a bigger variety of sizes). The sentiment is also from the new Bella Terra set, cut with the matching die.

Next, I have card that uses the Jumbo Countryside Villa. This one is an easel card…one of the easiest ways to make an interactive card that your recipient will love to keep on display. Here it is flat/closed…

And here it is in the upright/open position. Isn’t that just so fun!? Just a simple score/fold on the card front, and a strip on the inside for the “catch” is all it takes to make an easel card – the construction and concept itself is so simple, but there are endless ways to embellish easel cards and make them truly special. I definitely went with a “more is more” attitude on this one!

This is an A2-sized card. The front of the card is covered in a panel that was stenciled and embossed with the new Rolling Hills embossing folder and the previously released Rolling Hills stencil. Below the scored line on the card front, I adhered the Jumbo Countryside Villa, then added some more Rolling Hills, which were again stenciled and embossed, but this time also cut with the matching (previously released) Rolling Hills die to give me that nice curvy hillside edge. I added the rows of flowers from the new Bella Terra Addition stamp set – I did a set of both blue and yellow, and layered them, just adding some small snippets of the blue peeking from behind the yellow. I also added some trees from the Countryside Villa Jumbo set. The sentiment is also from the Bella Terra set – I put the “life is beautiful” sentiment on the outside, and the “with you” is on the inside where the easel catches. I also added a bit of my leftover Rolling Hills panel (what was left from trimming off the bottom) to this piece as well, and also tucked in some small bits of the Bella Terra flowers.

Last but not least, one of my favorite projects from the release – a boxed set of Countryside Villa-shaped notecards.

First of all, let’s take a look at the box. I used our Stationery Box die to create the box. I trimmed it down so that it would be a more appropriate size for my villa-shaped notecards. I used the die from the Countryside Villa set that cuts just the windows/doorways to cut these front of my box before assembling it. I also trimmed down the flap the acts as the closure for the box. Used as is, it has a curved flap, but I just wanted to it be straight so that I could attach a roof diecut, making it look like the roof opens to reveal the notecards inside. After I had the pieces ready to go, I assembled the box, then embellished the front by adding a Jumbo Countryside Villa house, lining it up with the window/doorway cutouts that I had made from my box base. I also added some Rolling Hills, done with the Rolling Hills die, stencil, and embossing folder. I added some trees from the Jumbo set and also flowers using the Bella Terra stamp set and matching die. The “handmade” label was stamped using the Simple Holiday Mini Sentiments stamp set onto a banner cut with the Sentiment Suite Basics die.

Now let’s take a closer look at the little notecards inside. The notecard bases were cut using the outer die from the Jumbo Countryside Villa set (I omitted the window cut-outs for the notecard bases), and I cut it them “on the fold” to create the shaped card bases. I then diecut and assembled the house fronts, and adhered them to the bases. I embellished each one with the window/flower boxes and trees from the set, and added a sentiment to each. I varied the sentiments, using a mix from the Bella Terra Addition set, the Laid Back Basics set, and the new Simple Everyday Mini Sentiments set.

Here’s one last look at all of the notecards along with the box. Such a fun project!
