Angelica is joining us today with a fun card using some previously released products, but before we get to that we have one more sneak peek of our new Confetti Encore collection! If you’re looking for the latest “scoop”, you’ve come to the right place. 😉 The full reveals kick off tomorrow, but in the meantime, here’s one more peek for you…
Now let’s hear from Angelica and the fun (and soothing) project she’s sharing today…
Hello friends! Today I am sharing a card that I put together using Modern Planters and Plant It: Aloe Dies.
I die-cut white card stock with the dies, then inked the die-cuts with Distress Oxide inks. I used Hickory Smoke Oxide ink on the planters, Tea Dye and Ground Espresso on the stands, and a mixture of greens for the plants. Once I was done inking them, I followed the included assembly die for Modern Planters to put together the stands, then added the aloe.
For the background, I first die-cut a Woven Cane Background out of white card stock, and glued the background to a white panel. I ran the panel through my die-cut machine with an A2 Arches die to make a small background for the planters to sit on. I stamped Spring Meadow Background onto gray card stock with coordinating ink to make a monochromatic background to match the planters. I attached the stamped panel to a card base, attached the arch, and finished with a Way To Grow sentiment stamped onto a PreText Banners diecut.
I love how neutral this card turned out. I normally wouldn’t pair green and gray together, but maybe I should more often. That’s all that I have for today. Thanks for stopping by!
