Happy Friday! Yay! It’s the first weekend of the school year around here, and that always feels a little exciting! Happy to be back in a routine during the week, and fun goings-on for the weekend. Got crafty plans? Wanda is here with the most amazing project to get you feeling inspired — but first, a little save the date announcement! We’ll be releasing a beautiful collection of autumn-inspired products very soon. We hope you’ll join us the week of Sept 6-10 as we showcase our latest collection called Leaf & Blade.
Now let’s see what Wanda has for us on this beautiful Friday!
Hi everyone! I’m delighted to be here today sharing on The Greetery Blog! Happy Friday! It’s the end of Summer now and time to transition from Summer crafting to Autumn crafting (yay!)…. Fresh florals will soon become warm leaves and pumpkins on my crafting table…. But, I wanted to take this opportunity to share one last fresh bouquet with you. I had the idea for this card since the Pretty Pot Die Set was released. I was hoping that the Container Garden floral spray would fit into the pot. Well, it turns out it works perfectly!

My finished card is a white A2 card base. I layered pretty yellow cardstock and vellum to create my card. I stamped the Container Garden floral in fresh colors and die cut it out with the matching die. I added some accents and lowlights using Copic Markers, and then used a white gel pen for accents.
I die cut out the Pretty Pot Dies from Kraft cardstock. I used Rusty Hinge Distress ink and a sponge dauber to add depth of color onto the pot. I also splattered on some brown ink and white paint.
To make the background I used my MISTI and the Windowpane Plaid background stamp with yellow ink. So fresh and pretty! The sentiment was heat embossed with white embossing powder onto a black banner. Everything is attached to the card using foam tape. This would be the perfect card for lots of different occasions and you can make it in any color palette.
Thanks for spending some time with me today! Have a great weekend, and happy crafting!
