Happy Friday, dear friends! Wanda is here today to treat us to some summery Friday inspiration. I always love all the details she incorporates into her projects, and today’s is awesome as usual! It’s the perfect excuse to crack open your new release goodies. 🙂
Hi crafty friends! I’m so happy to be joining you here today on The Greetery Blog for TGIF! It’s always my pleasure to share a project with you! By now, your goodies from the new release should be arriving – yay! So I thought I would share a card made with items from the new release. I was very inspired by the garden theme! I have so many ideas.Â
My finished card is an A2 card base covered in pretty lime green cardstock, then white cardstock, then woodgrain cardstock. I used a strip of gingham to add a splash of whimsy, and a bit of twine too. This is a great go-to card layout and will work with any colors, patterned papers and themes!Â
I started by stenciling the gorgeous Print Shop Daisy Days in fresh shades of yellow, green and blue. Perfectly Summer colors… Once my panel was stenciled, I used the Garden Gear – Gloves dies to cut out the two gloves. The pattern looks great on the gloves!Â
I used a matching shade of blue cardstock to make the accents for the gloves. I also used a Copic marker to shade the blue. I die cut out the Scripty Hello Die from black cardstock for contrast against all the colors.Â
I attached the gloves to the card using foam tape for dimension. I added tiny yellow hearts too. I am a sucker for tiny details!! I can’t believe it’s June! So I’ll wish you a happy Summer, and of course, happy crafting!Â
