Hi crafty friends! It’s Dana here today and I am excited to be back on The Greetery’s Blog. I love creating Christmas cards and The Greetery has so many amazing products that work so well together… It’s fun to pull out a “mixture” of products and see what you can create!

I was really wanting to use the Elegant Entrance: Arches Die set to create a Christmas scene so that was my inspiration for my card today. I started my card by making my background (behind the doors) with the Aida Cloth Texture Plate. I ink blended the panel with a soft aqua ink and then added a tree to the right side that I stamped and die cut with the Fir & Foliage No 2 set. Next, I used the Elegant Entrance: Arches die to create the doorway on my panel. I then added a panel over the doorway that I ink blended with aqua ink and cut the center out with an A2 Arch die. I love how these dies can be layered together to give your card some dimension and depth.

To “decorate” my entryway I used the Modern Planters dies. I filled the planters with sprigs I die cut and stamped with the Merry Sprigs set. I added a bow to the planter that I die cut with the Gift Galore die set. Once all of my elements were attached to my card I added some white splatters to my card to resemble snow. Lastly, I used the Written in Ribbon Holiday set for my sentiment.

Thanks for joining me today. I hope you have a wonderful day and I look forward to sharing a card with you again soon!
Happy Crafting,
Dana
