Hi there my Greetery friends! It’s Wanda, here to share a cheery Easter card made with some new supplies, and some of my previously released favorite supplies! It’s getting close to Easter, and I really wanted to use those cute lamb dies…so I combined them with the awesome Tartan Plaid stencils and the Easter Jubilee dies. I used a fresh Easter color palette of pink, yellow and aqua too!
My finished card is an A2 card base of white. I layered just a smidge of yellow, then my plaid layer, a vellum layer, and my top white layer. To make this card I first started by making my plaid background. I used my large and small blender brushes with three shades of Distress Oxide Inks. The Tartan Plaid Diagonal stencils are really so easy to use and produce a perfect result every time. Love how my spring plaid came out!
Next I assembled my Baby Face Lambs by die cutting white, cream and grey cardstocks and gluing the parts together. I added small accents of Copic Markers to the ears and bodies. I love those faces and cheeks that come in the Baby Face Stamp Set – they bring the critters to life! I die cut the word Easter in aqua to match the plaid. When I assembled the card, I used foam squares to pop up parts of it for a polished look. I added a couple of pink heart accents to finish it off.
I think these lamb dies are wonderful for Easter, but also how cute are they for baby cards or baby shower cards and invites? Just adorable! I look forward to sharing with you again soon. In the meantime, keep on crafting! XO Wanda
