Balloon Bouquet Baby with Dana

Hello friends! It’s Dana here today and I pulled out an “older” set I have been wanting to use to make a baby card this month. I bought the Balloon Bouquet set when it was released and never used it… eek! (Please tell me I am not the only one that has done this) Anyways, now seemed like the perfect time to ink it up as I needed a baby card for a dear family friend.

I started my card by making my card panel with the Celebration Streamers rubber cling stamp and stencil set . I used light pink ink for my streamers and a yellow/gold ink for my confetti. This set makes the perfect background for so many fun occasions.

Next, I used the Big Balloons die set to die cut my balloons and strings. Next, I used the Balloon Bouquet stamp and die set to stamp my florals and sentiment. Once I ink blended my balloons I attached my floral cluster and stamped my Welcome Baby sentiment directly onto the balloon. Lastly, I attached the balloons and strings to my panel to finish my card. I am in love with this set… I am not sure why it took me so long to finally use it!

TGIF – Make a Wish with Angelica

Hello, friends! I am so happy to be joining you today. This month is a busy month for my family. We have FOUR birthdays, including my daughter and mine, to celebrate. We are traveling abroad this month for our birthdays, and I made a birthday card for a friend that we are visiting in Sweden.

I started with the background. I used the Celebration Streamers confetti stencil to add orange confetti to 4.75 x 6.75 inch peach cardstock panel. Next, I made Curly Q Streamers. I die-cut colored cardstock, and glued the streamers together. I also die-cut a few glitter streamers, and glued them to the background. I used thin foam squares to add the top layer of streamers to the panel.

Now let’s move onto Takes The Cake. I die-cut pink cardstock for the cake, and glitter paper for the frosting. I die-cut a Cake Stand from mirror paper, and glued the stand to the card panel. I attached the cake to the top of the stand with thin foam strips. I finished the cake with a Takes The Cake sentiment, stamped onto a die-cut Banner. I also added the Takes the Cake stand as a base for my cake.

This card has a little dimension because of the thin foam squares, but not enough to where it would be difficult to travel with without it being damaged. I’m looking forward to passing this onto my friend.

Hey Honeycomb Balloon, Flower Power, Party Hat, and Ice Cream Cone dies

The dies in our Hey Honeycomb series all feature a round area that’s perfectly sized for a cute tissue-paper honeycomb ball…the top of the party hat, the center of a flower, a balloon, and a scoop of ice cream! Combine these dies with the Honeycomb Basics (introduced below) to create interactive cards and projects. You can leave the honeycomb folded flat in order to slip it into an envelope, and the recipient can then open up the honeycomb for a fun surprise! We’re also releasing a Party Hat stencil, which can be used to add color to the Party Hat die.

Hey Honeycomb Basics die, Sentiments stamp set, Honeycomb Balls Party Mix, and Adhesive Foam Sheets

To round out our Hey Honeycomb product suite, we have a new pack of honeycomb balls, just like the ones we released last year during the holidays, but this time in a bright party-colored mix. In order to add a bit of fun and create a polished look, even when the honeycomb ball is in the flat position (for mailing or tucking in an envelope), we have a Hey Honeycomb Basics die and Sentiments stamp set, allowing you to add a decorative touch and sentiments that give a bit of direction for the recipient to open it up for a fun surprise. The foam sheets can be diecut with the small star, heart, and flower included in the Basics die set, providing an easy way for the recipient to secure the honeycomb ball into an open position.

What’s the Scoop stamp set and coordinating die

What’s the scoop? This fun sentiment set will work well with our Hey Honeycomb Ice Cream Cone die introduced above, or it can be used on its own as well. The fun multi-step “scoop” sentiment creates letters that look like ice cream complete with sprinkles (there is both a stamp and diecut version). There are fun sentiments that cover a variety of occasions…birthdays, summer, thank you, or just to say hey, you’re cool!

Award Winning die and Inflated Sentiments stamp set

Celebrate those blue-ribbon kind of days with our Award Winning die. Create fun ribbons for birthdays, graduations, and more! Our Inflated Sentiments stamp set features a variety of sentiments done in a circular “inflated” style that fit perfectly on the Award Winning die, but are also the same size as the honeycomb balls, which means they can be used with any of the Hey Honeycomb dies, too. We’re all about options!

I’m so excited to share a ton of fun projects with you! Let’s get to it…

First I have lots of projects using the new Hey Honeycomb product suite. These dies are designed to work with the honeycomb balls, but of course you can use them without as well, for more options! First up are some flower-shaped notecards using the Hey Honeycomb: Flower Power die, some with honeycombs, and some paired with the Inflated Sentiments set.

Diecut the Flower Power die “on the fold” to create flower-shaped notes. Layer another diecut flower over the folded base for extra stability.
Add some leaves – our Large Leaves Magnolia leaves are a great size to use with this jumbo flower.
Use the smaller flowers from the Flower Power set as embellishments.
On the notecards that have a honeycomb on the front, include a sentiment on the inside using the Inflated Sentiments stamp set.

Next, some super fun interactive slimline cards. These are interactive not just because of the honeycomb element, but they are slider cards where the flower “grows”! So fun. I’ll share a quick process reel on Instagram for these soon so you can see them in action and the mechanics of how they’re put together.

To create these fun “growing” flowers, I combined the Hey Honeycomb Flower Power die with a few other dies from our lineup. I used the Large Leaves Magnolia for the leaves, the ribbon from the Big Beautiful Bow die for the stem, and the Pretty Pot die for the base.
I used a die from our PreText Banners die to create the slider mechanism for the flower to move up and down (I’ll show this in an Instagram reel!) along the Crimped Slimline panel.
Once again I used the Inflated Sentiments set for the flower center on one of these, and the Honeycomb Basics die and Sentiments for the other.

Up next are a few Hey Honeycomb Party Hat shaped cards…

The Party Hat can be topped off with they Hey Honeycomb Basics, or you can top it off with the fringed circles included in the Hey Honeycomb: Party Hat die set.
The stripes were stenciled here using the new Party Hat stencil.
Add some metallic streamers, cut with the Curly Q Streamers die and gold mirror cardstock.

My next card again uses the Hey Honeycomb Party Hat die, but this time I turned it upside down and used it as a horn for a fun congrats card!

The party hat turned upside down makes a perfect party horn – cut from gold metallic cardstock and filled with Curly Q streamers!
My background was foiled with the new Ticker Tape hot foil plate.
The fringed circles in the Party Hat die can be used as fun accents, too. Here I cut them from vellum to use as subtle background elements.
The sentiment here was done with a mix of our Let’s Have a Word: Congrats die, and the “on your big news” stamp which is from the new Inflated Sentiments stamp set.

Up next are a few projects using they Hey Honeycomb Ice Cream Cone die and What’s the Scoop stamp set and die.

Create a fun sun burst background using the cone from the Hey Honeycomb Ice Cream Cone die! In between the cones I added some strips of colorful cardstock which I coated with glitter by applying a strip or narrow double-sided tape.
The “scoop” sentiment here was done using the dies from the What’s the Scoop die set. Cut them from sherbety cardstock colors and mix and match to create a batch of sentiments to use on more projects.
The PreText Banners die is a great go-to die to stamp smaller sentiments such as the “here’s the” used here. You can always adjust the length of the banner by “double cutting” – Cut once, then shift the die position slightly and cut again to shorten the length as needed to fit your sentiment.
Don’t forget about the inside! Here I stamped some cherries from the What’s the Scoop set as well as the remainder of the sentiment.

My next two cards use the What’s the Scoop set paired with the Hey Honeycomb Ice Cream Cone die without using the honeycomb balls.

Draw inspiration from your sentiments! Here the “you melt my heart” sentiment inspired me to create a heart using two ice cream cones.
One of the small banners from the Curio: Divider & Details II die was the perfect place to stamp the “you melt my” portion of the sentiment.
Our Falling Hearts Background and Frosted Frames dies were perfect for creating a sweet background.
I sponged Oxide inks onto a panel of watercolor paper, then misted with water to create the sherbet-y background before diecutting it with the Falling Hearts die. I saved the heart cut-outs and used them to embellish my ice cream cones, along with some Candy Crumbles and glitter.

Next I had fun playing with some pastel-colored vellum paired with our Ice Cream Cone die and What’s the Scoop set.

Inspiration is everywhere! This project was inspired by some cute baby jammies I saw at Carter’s. 😉
Layering vellum diecuts always makes for fun and interesting effects. It’s fun to see where the colors overlap!
Adhering vellum is always tricky. I like to use my Xyron sticker maker or Adhesive Sheets like these from Scrapbook Adhesives. This coats the entire backside of the diecut with adhesive for a uniform look.
The curly frame from the Frosted Frames set grounded the elements in my design and added a fun touch.
Once again I added some design elements to the inside of my card – a stamped sentiment and a vellum ice cream cone.

And finally, a couple of cards using the new Award Winning die and Inflated Sentiments stamp set. These fun ribbons are so fun to dress up! Make them pretty or make them fun and festive!

Add some florals to create pretty ribbons. Here I pulled some already-stamped flowers from my stash of scraps. They are from the Takes the Cake and Print Shop: Modern Botanicals sets. I always keep little extras like this to tuck here and there into projects.
This would also make a fun mother’s day card. You could swap out the birthday sentiment for a Mom sentiment. Our Simply Bold Mom die would be a fun alternative.
Create a masculine version for Father’s Day!
The sweet frame in the background was stamped with our Spring Frame stamp.
A few Curly Q streamers add some additional color and layers to the design.

And lastly, a bright and fun version of the Award Winning die…

To make the glittery sentiment I stamped a sentiment from the Inflated Sentiment set and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder, sprinkled with fine glitter while the embossing was still warm. Reheat briefly if needed to re-melt the embossing powder and set the glitter.
Award ribbons and mirror cardstock are just made for each other!
The fringed circles from the Hey Honeycomb Party hat make fun accents. I tucked a few into my background.
The background behind the ribbon was done with the Celebration Streamers stamp + stencil, and foiled with the Ticker Tape hot foil.
Add lots of fun layers to the ribbons. Here I used the Ribbon Maker: Star Strip die as well as some Curly Q Streamers.

Confetti Encore Collection Day 1

Thanks so much for stopping by! Are you ready for a little party? The Greetery is turning 5! Woot! In honor of our birthday, we have some fun new celebration-themed products to introduce, that will hit the shop on Friday, April 26 at 10am EDT (exactly 5 years to the time and date of our first ever product release!). Our newest collection is called Confetti Encore, and it gives a bit of a nod to the original Confetti collection we released on our 1st birthday, back in 2020, which includes some of best-selling products ever. Celebration Streamers stamp + stencil, Curly Q Streamers die

A party’s not a party without a little confetti! Our Celebration Streamers stamp + stencil combo features a fun curly streamer background and a scattering of confetti. The set includes a red rubber stamp and a set of three stencils for adding shading to the streamers, and a confetti background. Our Curly Q Streamers die features similar curly streamers, but in die form so you can add lots of dimension to your projects.

On our first birthday, when we released our original Confetti collection, it included a background stamp called Ticker Tape. That fun and classic background stamp is now available in hot foil form! Perfect for adding foiled confetti backgrounds to the Celebration Streamers set introduced above, or any other project that calls for a little celebration! We’re also releasing the streamers in hot foil form. Combining the hot foil, stamp/stencil, and die versions of these products gives you tons of options and allows you to create layered and dimensional backgrounds!

Our Four Square series continues with a birthday addition! This set is filled with fun birthday-themed sentiments, all sized to fit nicely on our Four Square Tags die, but of course these are perfect for cards and more, too!

Flourished Phrases Birthday stencil and coordinating die

Earlier this year we released our Flourished Phrases Love and Hello sets, and now we’re adding a birthday version with this 3-piece stencil set and matching die. The coordinating die cuts the entire flourished phrases design, which is generously-sized to use as a focal point, as well as the individual letters to spell out the “birthday” portion of the sentiment, allowing you to add dimension to your stenciled designs.

It’s Your Day! die

A fun sentiment to celebrate a special day, this die includes letters to cut the words “it’s your day”, along with a shadow/base layer.

We have so many fun projects to share with you using today’s new product introductions!

First up are a few cards using the new Flourished Phrases Birthday. This set can take on different looks depending on your colors or things you might pair with it…I did a fun rainbow/colorful version as well as a more pretty/feminine floral version. Both are super fun!

First up is the colorful version…

For dimension, use the Flourished Phrases Birthday die instead of the stencil to do the actual letters. For even more dimension, pop them up, or do like I did here and diecut the letters three times from cardstock and stack them up. The drop shadow and flourishes are done with the stencil.
Add some gems and a bit of glitter to the flourishes using Stickles, or your favorite glitter medium.
The Deco Frames die makes a lovely background for the Flourished Phrases panel and adds a bit of detail without distracting from the design.

And here is a more floral version of the Flourished Phrases Birthday set…

Use a white pen to add some dots and lines to the stenciled letters for even more interest.
Add some shading to the letters by stenciling with a lighter shade first, then blending a deeper shade to the lower portion of the letters.
The Graceful Stems die was perfect for nestling some floral stems around the pretty sentiment
The background was stamped with our Windowpane Plaid background stamp for some subtle texture in the background.

Next up I have several projects using the new streamers in all of their forms…the Celebration Streamers stamp + stencil, the Curly Q Streamer die and Streamers hot foil.

This first colorful card uses Celebration Streamers stamp + stencil and some diecut streamers layered over the top for a super fun, layered, dimensional design. This card was put together in the video linked above.

To create streamers that are very different colors (rather than just monochromatic) using the Celebration Streamers stamp + stencil, do some simple masking using strips of paper. This allows you to stamp selective streamers and create a multi-color design. I show this in a video here.
After stamping/stenciling the streamers, add some sparkle using the Ticker Tape hot foil plate.
Pop up some diecut Curly Q Streamers over the stamped/stenciled streamers using pop dots.
The sentiment here is from the new Four Square Birthday Tags set and is such a fun complement to this festive project! The “it’s your birthday” portion from the sentiment is also from that set, and was stamped onto a PreText Banners diecut.

For my next project, I wanted to create a dark background with pops of bright-colored streamers, so I went with the Curly Q Streamers die, layered over a black card base that was foiled with the Ticker Tape hot foil plate.

The It’s your Day die is a fun one for layering over my party background. I sponged it with a rainbow of ink colors to match my streamers
Several of the streamers on this card omit the detail cuts for the streamers, and instead I stenciled some color onto the solid streamer layers using the negative of the detail cuts. They are positioned just right on the die allowing you to use them in this way! You can see this done in a video here.
When hot foiling on a panel that isn’t ultra smooth, like the black cardstock used here, I always rub over my foil plate with a sheet of wax paper while it’s warming on my platform. This gives better transfer onto papers that have more tooth or texture.

This next one is just super fun and uses a sentiment from the Four Square Birthday set, the Curly Q Streamers die, and a Ticker Tape foiled background.

Add a little pop of color by layering a white diecut (stamped with the sentiment) over a colored cardstock diecut. Use foam adhesive and offset slightly to allow the color to show just a bit for a fun look.
Scatter the diecut streamers in different angles to give a fun, carefree touch to your design…like the streamers and confetti were just given a toss!

The background was foiled with the Ticker Tape hot foil stamp.

Next up I have a pair of mini slim cards. These were created using a single Celebration Streamers panel that was cut in half after the stamping/stenciling was done. A quick and fun way to make a pair of cards.

When creating the “it’s your day” sentiment, I diecut the individual words f rom gold mirror cardstock, and the solid base from vellum for a soft look when layered over the stamped/stenciled background.
Add glitter to stamped images like the large “HB” sentiment here (from the Four Square Birthday set) by using a Xyron sticker maker or adhesive transfer sheets. Apply the adhesive to the front side of the diecut, then coat it with glitter.
The Ribbon Maker: Large Scallops die was used along the edge of each streamer panel for a pretty touch.

The various streamer products are perfect for so many occasions, not just birthdays! My next two cards use them for other occasions. This first one is a graduation card…

I used our Bold Numbers dies to cut the year from rose gold mirror cardstock.
The background was done by layering some diecut Curly Q Streamers over some foiled streamers (foiled with rose gold cardstock to match the sentiment.
The diecut streamers were done with a mix of shimmer and glitter cardstocks.
Add some gold splatters using some metallic watercolors.
The congratulations sentiment used here is from our All Occasion Script Sentiments stamp set and matching die.
My card is done in pretty/feminine metallics, but you could also create this same card in the graduate’s school colors.

My next one uses the Celebration Streamers done in shades of pink for a sweet baby girl card…

After stamping and stenciling with the Celebration Streamers set, I foiled the Ticker Tape hot foil to add the sparkling confetti.
The diecut flowers were created with the Petal Pusher Blooms die
The sentiment was done with a mix of Bold Alphabet diecuts and stamps from the Baby Face Sentiments stamp set.

Last but not least, I created a whole pile of birthday tags using the Four Square Birthday Tags stamp set paired with our Four Square Tags die. Perfect for having on hand when you need a quick tag or package topper!

To quickly make a big assortment of tags, pick out a fun color scheme of 4 or 5 colors – cardstock and matching inks. Use the Four Square Birthday Tags stamp set to stamp the star border onto each color of cardstock before cutting with the Four Square Tag die. This creates all of your tag bases. This process is shown in a video HERE (this is our Four Square Holiday set, but the process for the birthday version would be exactly the same – just use the stars instead of the greenery shown in the video!)
Then stamp the sentiments onto their coordinating diecuts in ink colors that match your chosen cardstock colors. Layer them over your tag bases, mixing and matching colors. Alternatively, you can stamp the sentiments directly onto the tag bases (before diecutting) for an even quicker project.
To add even more color and interest, trim the tops off of some of the tags, and layer these trimmed tops and bases over some of the other tags, mixing and matching colors.
