Catching Snowflakes stamp set
Happiness is catching snowflakes! This pretty set is great for creating backgrounds and focal points and sending warm winter wishes. Hoop & Fringe die
This delicate die has a bit of retro vibe and so many possibilities! Pair it with our Hoop Wreath set for floral designs, or with our Catching Snowflakes die and stamp set for pretty wintery designs.
A note about this die: For best results, this intricate die should be paired with our Metal Adapter Plate to achieve clean cuts, or use a diecutting system specifically designed for intricate dies.

It’s time for some projects to see these new products in action!
First up are some pretty boho package toppers using the Hoop & Fringe and Catching Snowflakes dies, embellished with the flowers and greenery from the Hoop Wreath stamp set.

I just love the look of these and can’t wait to decorate some gifts with these this year. They were fun to make as well. I put together a quick video showing how these go together…
These could be done in lots of different colors for different looks!
My next project uses the Catching Snowflakes die again, along with the large hoop from the Hoop & Fringe die to create a pretty dreamcatcher.

The feathers are from a die you’ll be seeing more of tomorrow. The sentiment is one of my favorites from the Catching Snowflakes stamp set. For the background, I used the Frosty Flakes stencil. I placed it over a panel of watercolor paper and then painted over it with some shades of blue and purple watercolors. I added a few small snowflake diecuts, which were cut with the Frosty Corners die. I also added some sequins to that lacy snowflake and a few in the background as well. Such a dreamy winter card!
My next card uses the Catching Snowflakes and Hoop & Fringe dies to create a pretty ornament focal point.

This time I put the greenery and flowers from the Hoop Wreath at the top of the hoop. I topped it off with a bow from the Fit to Be Tied die set and a matching strip of cardstock as a “hanger” for my ornament. The background was sponged with Tumbled Glass and Blueprint Sketch inks and stamped with the smaller snowflake from the Catching Snowflakes stamp set. I added some glitter to the snowflake center for a little sparkle and shine.
My next card uses the medallion stamp from the Catching Snowflakes stamp set to create a pretty background.
I started by stamping the medallion and center snowflake onto a panel of cardstock using Versamark ink. I made sure to leave the area where I wanted to put the diecut and sentiment unstamped. I filled in the spaces in between the medallions with the snowflakes from the set and heat embossed everything with white powder. Then I blended over the embossing with Tumbled Glass, Blueprint Sketch, and Shaded Lilac Oxide inks. I added some white ink splatters and finished it off by stamping the sentiment and adding the Catching Snowflakes hoop diecut and some sequins.
The Hoop & Fringe die and Hoop Wreath stamp set can definitely extend beyond winter projects, too! Here I changed up the colors and went for a springier color palette for a pretty thank you card.

I started off by watercoloring a panel of watercolor paper with some soft pinks, and also added a few splatters. This time I used both size hoops from the Hoop & Fringe set and nested them inside of each other. I topped it off with the greenery swag and lots of blooms from the Hoop Wreath set. I added the large and medium fringe to the bottom of the hoop and finished it off with a sentiment from the Hoop Wreath set.
