Hello and welcome to our second and final day of reveals of our newest collection, Winter Wanderer. I’m so excited about today’s products! Before we meet today’s products, a few notes…

Opposites Attract stamp + die

Opposites attract, and that’s especially true in the world of fonts. This sentiment set consists of four different sentiments done in a pretty, bold font. The companion sentiments are done in a soft, flowing script, creating a lovely paradox. These set covers a great mix of everyday sentiments you’ll reach for again and again.

Simply Wonderful stamp + die

This sentiment set is, well…simply wonderful! The “wonderful” sentiment is done in a pretty, bold font, while the companion sentiments are done in a soft flowing script for a fun juxtaposition. With sentiments for many occasions from Christmas to birthday, and even Valentine’s day or anniversary, this set will be a “wonderful” addition to your sentiment collection!

Boho Banner die

The Boho Banner die set is filled with elements for creating pretty banners and more. It includes a generously-sized banner base, along with an optional fringe detail. There are also a few different hanging options – choose from the more rustic twig or the basic pole, both with embossed woodgrain detail. In addition to the banner, there are several decorative elements that can be hung from the banner pole, or used to embellish your banners – a heart, snowflake, star, or two different feathers. The design possibilities are endless with this fun set!

A note about this die: For best results, this intricate die should be paired with our Metal Adapter Plate to achieve clean cuts, or use a diecutting system specifically designed for intricate dies.

Let’s dig into some projects – I have a lot to share today!

My first project uses the new Macramé Builder dies along with Bigger Blooms. For the macramé background I started with some natural cream cardstock and the Macramé Openwork base dies. I diecut the different macramé borders from black cardstock and layered them over the top to create the pretty background pattern.

I created a big cluster of flowers using the Bigger Blooms set and arranged them in the upper corner, allowing my background to get lots of exposure. I added a small hello sentiment, stamped and diecut with the Hoop Wreath stamp set that was introduced yesterday.

My next project again uses the Macramé Builder dies to create a background design. For this one I again used the Openwork Base dies and added the borders over the top. I stayed with all white this time for a lacy look. I also stacked multiple layers of the borders to give them added thickness, creating a background with a ton of dimension.

I also added some of the tassels from the Macramé Borders & Tassels set to the bottom edge of my lacy panel. I adhered it over a panel of paper that was watercolored with shades of pink to show through the openwork. For the sentiment I used the new Opposites Attract set and clustered a few blooms from the Hoop Wreath set.

The Macramé Builder dies are great for backgrounds, but they’re also fun to combine with other dies. Here I combined them with the hoops from the Hoop & Fringe die that was introduced yesterday. These were so fun to make!

I clustered three lacy hoops – one large and two small over my card base, which was sponged with some Worn Lipstick ink. I also stamped the “a note to say” sentiment from the Opposites Attract set around the larger hoop, curving it to fit around the edge. I layered the “hello” sentiment from Opposites Attract over the larger hoop. I also added a flower cluster using the Bigger Blooms set.

My next project is a sweet banner-shaped notecard made using the Boho Banner die and the Macramé Builder dies. I created a macramé design directly onto the banner. I added color to the borders layered over the top by sponging them with ink.

The sentiment I used here is again from the Opposites Attract set. I added a couple of fringe diecuts to the bottom of the banner, along with a tassel from the Macramé Borders & Tassels set. Such a fun project!

Next I have several Boho Banner projects! This first one uses the banner to create a holiday card. I used the greenery bough and a couple of blooms from the Hoop Wreath set to embellish the banner, along with a Written in Ribbons sentiment.

I layered my banner over a Crimped Frame diecut and also added a gold brad for the banner “hanger”. I topped it off with a snowflake from the Boho Banner die set.

The banner is a perfect spot to create a pretty scene. Here I pulled out the tree from the Christmas Eve set to create a pretty winter scene.

I did some paper tearing to create the layered snow drifts, then tucked the trees into the drifts. The background of the card was stenciled with the Frosty Flakes stencil. I added a couple of diecut snowflakes, cut with the Boho Banner die,

This next one uses the Boho Banner dies in a totally different way. I love how it turned out! I took all of the small “charms” from the die set and hung them from the branch. I dipped them in gold ink for a bit of shine.

In the background I did a bit of watercoloring and added some gold splatters. I also added the greenery bough from the Hoop Wreath set, and a sentiment from that set as well. A few sequins scattered in the design add a little sparkle. This might be my favorite project of the release!

And we’ll wrap up today’s projects with a couple of cards using the new Simply Wonderful sentiment set. This first one is a pretty holiday card.

I stamped that pretty sentiment in bright red ink, and stacked up a few diecuts to add some thickness. I added some greenery and snowflakes around the sentiment using images from the All Blessings Flow stamp set and snowflakes cut with the Boho Banner die. In the background is some sponged Tumbled Glass ink, and I also added some white ink splatters. Along the bottom edge is a Macramé Borders & Tassels border for a pretty finishing touch.

The Simply Wonderful set is great for so many occasions. Here I paired it with some big, bright blooms, stamped with the Bigger Blooms set.

One fun thing to note about this card is the fringe – I created that by using the Macramé Openwork Base die. I used the straight openwork die and just trimmed off the bottom edge to create fringe.
