Happy Friday! Can you believe we’re cruising towards the end of August? It’s the busiest time of year here behind the scenes as we’re working away on getting everything ready for our fall and holiday releases. I’ve been buried in product prep…so exciting to see something go from idea to physical product that I can share with you. 🙂 Stay tuned for more info in the coming weeks!
Taking break from all of that to pop in with this week’s TGIF! Angelica is here sharing a gorgeous card made with one of our more recently released sets…
When the Wild Elegance Collection arrived a few weeks ago, I didn’t have nearly enough time to dedicate a craft session to the beautiful Sketched Wildflower Bouquet stamp set. Time and summer heat got the best of me. I told myself to keep the stamp set out, and when things calmed down, I would create with it. Well, I finally had that session, and I must say… this stamp set is absolutely lovely!
I stamped the bouquet onto a slimline panel with TE Mocha ink, and used the coordinating stencils to add color. I used the following Distress Oxide inks and finger daubers to color the bouquet: Tattered Rose, Victorian Velvet, Aged Mahogany, Iced Spruce, and Speckled Egg.
For the sentiment, I die-cut Mocha card stock with Let’s Have A Word: Love die twice, glued them together, and attached them to the card panel. I finished the sentiment with a stamp from Lovely Silhouettes stamp set. To finish the card, I stamped the bouquet again onto the card base with Mocha ink, then attached the trimmed panel with foam adhesive.
I love how elegant this card turned out. Stamping with brown ink really often the lines, and the sentiment fonts are beautiful together. That’s all that I have for today. Thanks so much for stopping by!
