Hi everyone! Just popping in with a flood-related shipping update. We were able to resume shipping today, but wanted to note that for the time being, orders won’t be going out daily like normal. Orders will go out on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for the time being as we need to transport them to a post office in the next town over. They’re working on setting up a mobile unit here, so when that’s up and running we should be able to resume our normal daily shipping schedule (hopefully next week!). Our postal workers are absolutely the best, and we’re thankful for all their hard work. They are currently set up in a tent in a parking lot so we can pick up our mail!
Updates
Shipping Update: Shipping of all orders has been temporarily suspended due to flooding
Hello all! I just wanted to pop in and make sure to share an update here on the blog that we posted on Instagram over the weekend. Our small town experienced devastating flooding over the weekend when a levee broke after a week of extremely heavy rains. So many of you have reached out with concern and well-wishes. Thank you so much! I wanted to let you know that we (both our home and business) are totally fine and dry, and we are so thankful for that. So many in our community are not, and have lost so much. It will be a long road ahead. 🙁
We wanted to let you know that due to the flooding, we are NOT able to ship orders this week. We hope to resume shipping on Monday 7/1.
Hi everyone! We are getting ready to celebrate our second birthday here at The Greetery! Can you believe it’s been two years since we opened our shop and released our first collection? In some ways it feels like we’ve been doing this forever, and in others it feels like we just started yesterday!
In the next couple of days we’ll be sharing some sneak peeks of our newest collection coming to the shop on April 28, called Spring Market…
But before we get into sneak peeks, prizes, and all of that in the coming days, we want to take a moment to say Thank You! Thank you for your support of us here at The Greetery and for making our first two years in business so amazing! The last year especially has been full of all kinds of challenges for all of us, and we thank you for being a bright spot in our lives! Thank you for your orders, for your participation in blog hops and blog comments, instagram and facebook likes and comments, encouraging notes and emails, and everything you do to enable us to keep doing what we love. We are absolutely convinced that we have the very best customers anywhere – and we are thankful for you.

I have quite a few notes for today…

Winners!
First we have some winners from the blog hops! Ladies, send an email to Customer Service and we’ll get your gift certificates to you right away…

Winners from Day #2 were Krist from Angelica’s blog & Maureen Hampshire from Heather’s blog!
Restock
We will be doing a major restock to the shop this morning! We have nearly every product that’s currently out of stock to add to the shop, with the exception of just a few things. Due to the sale and the expected volume of orders, we suggest shopping early for the best selection. But please keep in mind that the discount does not start until 10am EDT and will not be applied to orders placed before then.
International orders
We have reinstated ordering from all of the international destinations that we shipped to previously before taking a pause with the Covid situation. Please use your own discretion when placing international orders. Keep in mind that shipping times are very long right now due to the Covid situation. We are seeing deliveries take 6-8 weeks at minimum for international orders other than Canada, which is running pretty well. So if you’re ordering with a deadline of some sort, just keep that in mind!

Lookbooks
The new Lookbooks are live and ready for you to enjoy! I just love seeing all of the Inspiration Team projects in one place. They, along with our guests, created so many beautiful projects!
I think that’s a wrap! Thank you so much for an amazing week…and an amazing first YEAR!
Happy Tuesday! I don’t have a Make & Tell for you today, but I do have some other fun news!
April 26th marked our first anniversary here at The Greetery! I can hardly believe it’s been more than a year since we launched this blog and our shop! We went into this not knowing at all what to expect, but we have been overwhelmed with your support and enthusiasm. Thank you for coming along on this ride with us – for your support, your comments, excitement over new products, encouragement, and the overall kindness displayed by all of you, our customers, has been the most fulfilling part of this whole undertaking! We can’t express enough how much we appreciate each and every one of you and we’re so happy you’re here!
With that in mind, we’re ready to do a bit of celebrating next week! Even though we’re a month behind our anticipated celebration date, if life has taught us anything in the last few months it’s that sometimes things don’t go as planned. 🙂 Next week we’ll be celebrating with the release of some new products, prizes, and lots of projects from the Inspiration Team + some special guests!
Stock Update: I know we have so many out of stock products right now that you all have been waiting ever so patiently for. Our manufacturers are working hard at getting back on track and getting our orders to us. Our packers here on our end are busy prepping what has already come in, and more things are coming later this week. We were hoping to do a major restock by the middle of this week, but a large stamp reorder we were expecting has been slightly delayed. In an effort to avoid frustration with placing multiple orders, we have decided to hold off on restocking bits and pieces as they come in, and instead do one large restock once everything that’s trickling in has arrived. We’re hoping to have a nearly fully-stocked store in time for our anniversary celebration!
We’ll see you back here on Friday for a fun TGIF post with Kelly!
Hey all! I’m just popping in with a stock update. We’re starting to see a few restocks coming in.
We’ll be restocking some stamps and dies in the shop in just a bit. I wanted to keep you in the loop and let you know that we have a very limited quantity for a few of the items. Because of the long lag we’ve had in being able to get product from our manufacturers, I’m afraid our out of stock email alert list has grown beyond what we have to put in stock right now on some of the items. We have more orders coming in over the next few weeks as our manufacturers work to catch up on orders. So if you miss out on this batch, we recommend signing up again for the email alert so we can hopefully catch you on the next round.
Here is a list of what we’re adding to the shop tonight!
Stamps:
- Comforting Commands
- Cotton Comforts
- Fir & Foliage No. 2
- Fleur Impressions
- Hand in Hand
- Simple Things
- Budding Beauties: Autumn
Dies:
- BotaniCuts Succulents
- Comforting Commands
- Crimped Frame (limited qty)
- Fir & Foliage No. 2

- Hand in Hand
- Nordic Frames (limited qty)
- Postal Frames (limited qty)

Shipping notes, including the temporary suspension of international orders
Good evening! I’m just popping in with some shipping updates.
International orders: We made the decision to temporarily suspend international ordering due to extensive USPS delays. We have been monitoring international shipments and unfortunately, most orders placed within the last 3-4 weeks are not seeing any movement beyond the international hub in Chicago. Therefore we have decided to temporarily stop accepting international orders. All international orders that have been placed have gone out, with the exception of those waiting for the Sentiment Starters die. Once those dies arrive, we will ship those orders, but will not be accepting any more international orders until we start to see movement on the current orders and the backlog start to ease. Thank you for your understanding.
Domestic Orders: While most domestic orders seem to be moving through the system at a fairly normal pace, please be aware that there does seem to be a few bottleneck areas – specifically hubs in Chicago and Detroit. We’ve also noticed that tracking doesn’t seem to be updating as much along the way. Many times it will show as having left our regional facility in Sioux Falls, SD, and no further updates until it arrives at the destination’s regional facility. So we ask that you not be too alarmed with the lack of tracking updates, and give things a bit more time than usual.
Sentiment Starters dies: These are on the way! We hope to start shipping out orders that are waiting on this die beginning this weekend, depending on when they arrive (see note above about the delays in domestic shipments, which applies to us receiving things as well 🙂 ) We will get them out as soon as we possibly can because I know crafty goodies are really fun, but waiting for them is not!
Also, we’ll be taking a break from TGIF tomorrow. Originally we had some fun anniversary celebration things planned for this week (can you believe The Greetery is turning ONE already??!!), but due to the current situation, we’ll be celebrating at a later date! I can’t wait! ❤️
Take care and I’ll see you back here on Tuesday for a Make & Tell video!
Wanda is here with today’s TGIF…she’s sending you a bright and cheery squeeze! Read on to learn more about the super sweet project she created using our Lemon Blossom set!
Hello and Welcome to TGIF here at The Greetery! Wanda here, sharing a bright and cheerful card for you this Spring Friday! As the season changes to Spring I am always inspired to use vivid and happy colors in my crafting. Right now I am making everything with yellow! I guess we can all use a little sunshine, right? And I know I could use a squeeze! (I’m definitely a hugger) I’m featuring one of my very favorite The Greetery stamp sets – Lemon Blossom. So fresh and pretty, and so many different ways to use this stamp set.
I combined it with the beautiful Windowpane Background Stamp. Reminds me of a pretty tablecloth with a big bowl of lemons. My finished card is an A2 sized kraft card base. I used a MISTI to stamp and heat emboss the background in white embossing powder onto a sheet of teal cardstock. Then I die cut that layer out with the awesome Crimped Frame die. Then I added a layer of vellum, die cut from the smallest size of the Crimped Dies.
I wanted to try something a bit different with the lemons, leaves and flowers stamps. So I stamped the images onto colored cardstock instead of white! I used a slightly darker shade of the same color to stamp onto the paper. I used the matching dies to cut out everything.
The Lemon Blossom stamp set has the word “squeeze” in it! I paired that word with the “sending a” word die from the Sentiment Starters die set. At this time, I know I miss squeezing my friends…so this is the perfect card to send. I finished off the card with a few clear gems in the flower centers. I also used white paint to splatter white ink onto the die cut pieces and the background. That is one of my favorite techniques!
Wishing you a beautiful weekend full of happiness and creativity! Take care friends.
Wanda’s bright and cheery project definitely brightened up my day! It’s also making me crave a cold glass of lemonade and the warm summer sun. We’ll get there…yes we will. And it will feel amazing. 🙂
Now for a winner for the Mason Jar palette giveaway from earlier this week. The random number generator chose comment #8, which was Jan Elmore! Jan – I’ll get your palette in the mail to you very soon! I hope you enjoy it!
Update on the delayed dies from the Fresh Air collection
We’re very excited that these dies are finally on their way! We’ve received part of our order, which we’re working on getting ready to put in the shop. We’re expecting the remainder of our order to arrive over the weekend. Our intention, if all goes as planned, is to put them up in the shop on Monday. I say “if all goes as planned” because you know the world we’re currently living in…even things like the mail are a bit more unpredictable than usual. So, we’re planning on Monday – if something changes and we end up needing to delay, I will post here on the blog on Monday and let you all know. Thanks so much for your patience with the delay of these! I know it’s hard to wait. 🙂
We also have a few other items that will be restocked along with the dies – some stencils and red rubber stamps have arrived, and will be added to the shop along with the dies – again, hopefully Monday!
Hey everyone! Happy Monday morning. I’m just popping in to let you know that we did a small restock of the clear bubbles that coordinate with the Candy Pops collection over the weekend. I know many of you have been asking about these. Please note that the stock of 1/2″ depth is quite limited, especially for the circles, but we have more of all shapes and sizes coming soon. Just thought I’d update you all on that!
We have also been getting quite a few questions on other out of stock items. We are expecting a large restock of dies will happen early next week. Most out of stock stamps are expected in about 2-3 weeks.
Before I sign off, I’d love to get some input from you! It’s looking like I will have some time this week to put together a few videos. I’d love to hear your thoughts on what you’d like to see!
Hoping your week is off to a great start!
