Good morning and happy release day! Today is our 5th birthday here at The Greetery! I can hardly believe it! Five years ago today we opened our shop and released our very first collection of products.

End of the Year Sale

Hi everyone! I hope you had a wonderful and blessed Christmas! It’s been a bit quiet here on the blog as we’ve been enjoying a few days of much-needed family and down-time after the busyness of the last few months.

Popping in this morning to let you know it’s time for our End of the Year Sale!

Enjoy mark downs on over 200 overstock and retiring items in the shop! We’ve added some things to our retired list, so note that anything marked with a “Retired” or “Clearance” banner is last chance. When they’re gone, they’re gone and will not be restocked. Any items not marked retired are just simply on sale. 🙂

All That Glitters Release Day + Thankful for You Sale

It’s almost time for the new products we’ve been showcasing to go up in the shop! Our new All That Glitters collection will be available in the shop today at 10am EST.

When the new products go live at 10am EST, so will our Thankful for You Sale!

Our entire shop will be 15% off (including the new All That Glitter collection!), plus we’ll have a select group of holiday products that will have an additional 15% off!

Some things to note about the sale…

  • Rewards points can NOT be combined with the sale discount. If a rewards code is entered at checkout, it will override the 15% discount. We can not make adjustments to rewards after an order is placed.
  • Sale starts at 10 am EST when the new products go up in the shop, and ends on Saturday, 11/25 at 11:59pm EST.

Hip Hip Hooray Release Day + Anniversary Sale

Happy release day! We’re so excited that our new Hip Hip Hooray collection will be up in the shop in just a few short hours! We’ve been working so hard on getting everything ready, it’s always sort of hard to believe the day is finally here.

So before we get to announcing our winners, we have some sale info to share!

When the new products go live in the shop at 10am EDT, our annual Anniversary Sale will also go live. From 10am EDT today, until Saturday, 4/29 at 11:59pm ET, enjoy 15% off storewide (including the brand new collection!), plus a number of products with additional markdowns.

Some things to keep in mind during the sale period…

  • The storewide 15% off discount will be automatically applied to your order
  • You will NOT be able to redeem Gold Rewards during the sale period, due our cart only allowing one discount code at a time (the 15% off code is entered automatically by default during the sale period and will reflect in your cart – if a GOLD code is entered the 15% off will be removed)
  • The additional markdowns will be linked from a banner on the homepage of our shop for easy access
  • Please check your cart carefully before checking out as we can not guarantee we’ll be able to accommodate changes to your order due to the order volume and our commitment to get everyone’s orders on their way as quickly as possible.

Can you edit or combine orders?

  • Normally we love to do this for you, but during our biggest sale of the year, please check your cart carefully before submitting your order. Due to the order volume we typically experience during the sale and our desire to get everyone’s packages on their way as quickly as possible, we will not be editing, combining, or canceling sale orders once they’ve been placed as we’ll begin shipping orders immediately. Thank you for your understanding!

Can I use Gold Rewards on my order?

  • Unfortunately, no. Our system can only handle one discount code at a time. The Anniversary discount code will be automatically applied to your order at checkout, so you will not be able to redeem rewards points during the sale.

TGIF – Grad Inspiration + Flash Sale

Hi there and happy TGIF! I’m here with some graduation inspiration today + a Sale! I pulled out my Year In, Year Out: 2022 products to create a couple of graduation cards. We’re also running a Flash Sale on these items now through Monday! The 50% off sale includes our Year In, Year Out 2022 die, stencil, and hot foil. With a daughter (and a niece!) graduating from high school this year, I know I’m going to be needing some pretty grad cards, so I thought today’s TGIF post was the perfect chance to get to work on those. I pulled out my Year In, Year Out: 2022 die and set to work. This die is perfect for grad cards for guys or gals with the stars and swirls, but I wanted to girly it up a little since my daughter always loves pretty, feminine things.

I started by diecutting the Year In, Year out die from black cardstock. I pulled out my Bold Numbers dies to cut the numbers to layer over the top. I thought it would be pretty to make them in a couple of different metallic colors, so I pulled out some metallic mirror cardstocks (Gold and Rose Gold from The Cardstock Warehouse).

To add a feminine touch, I pulled out my Print Shop: Spring Mix set and used the individual 3-petal blooms from that set to add a cascade of blooms to my 2022 diecut. For the gold version I made my flowers yellow using Antique Linen Oxide ink, and for the Rose Gold version I make pink flowers using Tattered Rose ink. I also added some dotted details to the flower centers using a black pen, and dots to the petals using white and gold metallic pens.

To make these feel even more special, I created my card bases from a heavy-weight vellum. To give a little added stability, I “wrapped” the bottom edges of my card base with a strip of kraft cardstock that I scored in half to fold around and enclose the bottom edges. It gives the vellum a little more sturdiness, and also gives a nice finishing touch. Last but not least, the small sentiments stamped on the banner were done with the Year In, Year Out Sentiments, heat embossed with white powder.

Since the cards are made of vellum, I wanted to make the insides pretty as well. I added a strip of kraft cardstock stenciled with the 2022 from our Year In, Year Out stencil set, and stamped a “congratulations” sentiment, which is from the Holding Hands set.
