I have a card to share with you today that’s been one I’ve had in mind to create since the BotaniCuts Sunflower dies were introduced. I really wanted to try creating some natural-colored sunflowers. I finally had a chance to play around with that idea!
For this card, I diecut the BotaniCuts Sunflowers from white cardstock and colored them with my Polychromo pencils. It was fun to add shading and details to these dies, and they just come to life when you do! I added in some eucalyptus sprigs from the Simple Things set as well. I stamped those, and then also added some shading with the Polychromo pencils – adding shading to solid stamped images is one of my favorite techniques lately! It’s faster and easier than coloring an outline image, and the results are really pretty. I also tucked in few of the leaves from the BotaniCuts Sunflower die set to fill out the bouquet. The frame was cut with the Crimped Frame dies and kraft cardstock.
And good news! The BotaniCuts Sunflowers and Crimped Frames are back in stock as of right now!
