Year In, Year Out: 2022 Product Suite
Let’s welcome 2022 in style! This suite of products includes a few limited edition items. We’ll be doing our best to stock/restock these items through the end of 2021. After that they will be available only while stock lasts.
The Year In, Year Out: 2022 die makes a stand-out focal point for New Years, graduation projects, scrapbooks, and more! You can use the die alone, or you have several options for embellishing it. It coordinates with our previously released Bold Numbers die, the new Year In, Year Out stencil, or the It’s the Year: 2022 hot foil. Lots of mix & match options!
The stencil set can be used in combination with the Year In, Year Out die, or on its own for quick one-layer cards.
The sentiments found in the Year In, Year Out Sentiments stamp set fit on the banner incorporated into both the Year In, Year Out die and stencil set.

Opposites Attract + Opposites Attract Holiday Hot Foil
Some of our most popular sentiment sets are now available in hot foil form! The Opposites Attract and Opposites Attract Holiday hot foils coordinate with the previously released dies, giving you more options for these classic favorites!

Since our original Opposites Attract set was released before we started offering hot foils, the coordinating die does not have open centers. In order to diecut the foiled sentiments, here’s a short video with a little trick…

Now that we’ve introduced all of the new products, let’s see them in action with some projects!
First up is a whole lot of tags! I am so excited to pretty much have my holiday tag making wrapped up. The holidays are always so busy and I know I’m going to love having these ready to go. Last year I went with a black/white/kraft/gold theme for our wrapping paper and toppers, and I loved it so much that I’m going to do it again. 🙂 I kept that in mind while putting together all of these tags using all of the various products from the Tag Team Duo lineup.

I had so much fun creating, and ended up with a big stack of tags!

I singled out a few of these tags to show you in more detail. First up is this pretty kraft tag with gold foiling. I used the Tag Team Duo hot foil plate and gold foil, then cut the tags using the matching Tag Team Duo die. I stamped the bouquet from the Tag Team Duo: Holiday Surrounds set using white, grey and red inks. The “joy” sentiment is from our previously released Speed Tagging Christmas Sentiments stamp set, which is a perfect companion set for the new Tag Team Duo products, as all of the sentiments from that set fit nicely in the labels! Two years after it was released, that set is still one of my go-tos!

Next is another foiled kraft tag. I found that I loved tying two tags together, which allowed me to put a sentiment of some sort on the front, and hide the to/from on the tag underneath. The “a gift for you” sentiment I used here is again from the Speed Tagging Sentiments set. The front tag was stamped with the Tag Team Duo: Holiday Surrounds stamp set, and the back tag was stenciled with the new Tag Team Duo: Dots & Stripes stencil set.
These next few tags were again foiled with the Tag Team Duo hot foil. This time I also foiled the sentiments using the new Tag Team Duo: Holiday Sentiments hot foil. I love how these sentiment plates drop into the opening of the main hot foil tag, allowing me to do it all in one go.
This last pair of tags was done with the Tag Team Duo: Dots & Stripes stencil. I combined both of the diagonal striped stencils to create a black and white gingham look. The sentiments were hot foiled with the Tag Team Duo: Holiday Sentiments set, and diecut with the rectangle and hexagon dies included in the Tag Team Duo die set. The frames around the sentiments were stamped with the Tag Team Duo: Labels stamp set. I tucked in a few BotaniCuts Pine Bough sprigs for a finishing touch.

Last but not least, the hexagon and rectangle dies included in the Tag Team: Duo die set make pretty cute little tags on their own! Here I stamped the frame with the Tag Team Duo: Labels stamp set, and the sentiment is from the Holiday Surrounds set.

Next I have several projects using the new 2022 products! For this first one I combined the new Year In, Year Out: 2022 die with our Hourglass Frame and Hourglass Insert dies to create a fun and festive New Year’s shaker card! I used the simpler method I showed in THIS video, and filled my shaker with glitter, sequins, and stars.

I hot foiled the 2022 using the new It’s the Year: 2022 hot foil plate and Speckled Aura Glimmer foil onto black cardstock. Then I cut it out using the new Year In, Year Out 2022 die. I also diecut it from gold metallic paper, and nested a few of the diecut pieces inside the black diecut. I stamped the “happy new year” sentiment using the new Year In, Year Out Sentiments stamp set and heat embossed it with gold powder.

My next card again uses the Year In, Year Out 2022 die paired with the It’s the Year: 2022 hot foil. This time I went for a cool, silvery color scheme. I hot foiled the 2022 in silver onto white cardstock, then cut it out using the Year In, Year Out die. I also diecut it from silver glitter and black cardstocks. I left some of the silver swirls in tact, and layered all three diecuts, offsetting them slightly to create a shadowy effect.

Before adhering it to my card base, I used the Year In, Year Out 2022 stencils to stencil the stars so they would show through the diecut openings and add a pop of color. I finished it off with a sentiment from the Year In, Year Out Sentiments stamp set, some gold ink splatters, and a few sequins.

Next I used the Year In, Year Out stencils to create a quick and easy one-layer card. I first hot foiled the It’s the Year: 2022 onto my cardstock panel using gold foil. You could make this card even simpler by omitting the foiling. I then added the stenciling using the three stencils from the set and Peacock Feathers and Blueprint Sketch oxide inks.

I trimmed down my panel slightly, and attached it to a card base that was sponged with some Peacock Feathers ink. I added some gold splatters and also a few diecut gold stars to finish it off.

The Year In, Year Out products are also perfect for celebrating our 2022 grads! I’m always looking for something year-specific for grad cards and I can’t wait to make a whole stack of these next spring. My daughter is graduating, so I know I’ll need lots of cards! For this one, I diecut the Year In, Year Out: 2022 die from gold metallic cardstock. To add detail to the numbers, I pulled out my Bold Numbers die and cut them from maroon cardstock, adding some black ink blending to create an ombre effect.

I heat embossed the “congrats grad” sentiment from the Year In, Year Out Sentiments stamp set with white powder. I added my pretty diecut to a color-blocked background done with black and gray cardstocks, and nested a few star diecuts back into the star openings to add some color and interest.

Next I have just a couple of projects using the new Opposites Attract hot foils! This first one uses the hot foils that coordinate with the original Opposites Attract every day set. I hot foiled the “thank you” sentiment and layered it over a panel of cardstock that was stamped and stenciled with the Winterberry Bouquet set.

This “thank you for the gift” sentiment is perfect for this time of year! I’m loving how these sentiments look when they’re foiled!

My final card for today uses the Opposites Attract Holiday hot foil set. I have had this white Twig Wreath lying on my desk since the September release, and I decided it could definitely go Christmasy when paired with the right sentiment, and a little shimmer!

I tucked in some soft greenery using the Layered Leaves set, and layered my completed wreath over a black gingham background that was done with our Square Dance die and matching stencil. I love how fresh and pretty it looks! I also added some glitter to leaves and twigs in the wreath.

That concludes my projects using the new products coming to the shop tomorrow! I so hope you enjoyed taking a peek at them! I’ll be popping in tomorrow morning with a post before the products go live…I’ll have some videos to share with you, too!
Now that you’ve gotten to meet all of today’s new products and see them in action, you can “greet” them for a chance to win a prize! We’ll be giving away TWO $50 gift cards for today’s blog hop.
