Our Garden Party collection is filled with all of the things you might find at a summer garden party (we made sure to incorporate lots of things you can use year-round, too)! Here’s a first peek at just a few of the new goodies. So many fun tidbits here to check out, and we have so much more to show you!

Hey everyone and happy Friday! Wanda is here with a super fun project using some of the Hey Honeycomb products from our last release. Perfect timing for some inspiration, as we just restocked the Honeycomb Balls! Before we get to that, I just wanted to give you a little heads up that we’re busy getting everything ready for our next new product release!
Next week we’ll be showcasing lots of new products coming to the shop as part of our Garden Party collection. There are lots of fun summer items, but also some great basics, and things for year-round occasions. This collection is filled with all of the pretty things you might find at a summer garden party. We can’t wait to show you everything! We’ll kick off the week with some sneak peeks starting on Monday.

Hi there my creative and crafty friends! It’s Wanda here on The Greetery Blog today to share a project with you! I am always so excited and happy to share with you. Happy Summer! For my project for today I created some festive and fun gift tags using lots of my favorite Greetery supplies! I am obsessed with honeycombs now, thanks to Betsy! I have some special birthdays coming up and I always love to make something handmade….
I created two gift tags – one is a gift box decoration and the other one I haven’t decided yet – maybe a tie on to a bottle of champagne, or as a gift bag tie on!
I started by die cutting two of the big tags using the Tag Team Duo dies – they are the perfect size tag! I used the Tag Team Duo matching stencils to stencil pink polka dots on one tag and mint green stripes on the other tag. For stenciling I used Distress Inks and blender brushes. The perfect party backgrounds!
Next I die cut all the pieces to make a Hey Honeycomb Balloon and a Hey Honeycomb Ice Cream Cone. I used cardstock shades to match those cute Party Honeycomb Balls. I added bits of ink shading and also Stickles Diamond glitter glue. I affixed the honeycomb balls to the die cut pieces using liquid glue.
For the accents I splattered on some white paint and created gold streamers for both tags. I added a pretty ribbon from my stash and little scattered gems and pearls. For the sentiments I used the Tear Strip Banners Dies along with the Tear Strip Tags Birthday stamps. These were perfect across the bottom of my tags.
For the gift, I wrapped it in Kraft wrapping paper first. I added a star border using the Star Strip Die and made it from matching cardstock to the balloon. Just a little extra touch.
This is such a fun way to embellish a gift! These tags would also be nice for a graduation party gift, or any other celebration!

Hello friends! It’s that time of year when we’re wrapping up the school year and many thanks are in order! When it comes to thanking teachers, apples are always in season, wouldn’t you agree? I had so much fun creating this card using the darling BotaniCuts Apple Die paired with a few other favorites to bring this scene to life!
To begin, I die cut the greenery for the edge of the focal panel using the A Side of Greens Die from thick white cardstock and then colored it using twisted citron, mowed lawn, and rustic wilderness Distress Oxide inks and a finger dauber. This is a very delicate piece, so be gentle. If you’re worried about it being too delicate for your project, simply cut it an additional one or two times and glue it together. I’ll share my tip on how I handled it for this project in a bit!
I die cut quite a few apples, stems, blossoms, and leaves using the BotaniCuts Apple die from white cardstock. The leaves are colored using the same ink as the A Side of Greens piece, the apples are colored using twisted citron, abandoned coral, festive berries, and Lumberjack plaid Distress Oxide inks. The stems are colored using gathered twigs. I pushed the stems into the opening at the top of the apples and then secured them using a small piece of Scotch tape.
I used the Bushel Basket Die and Rustic Cream cardstock for the basket. I added some antique linen Distress Oxide ink to the reinforcers and label backing, and black soot for the handles. I used liquid glue to adhere the basket. The ‘picked fresh’ sentiment is from the Market Basket Sentiments and is heat embossed on black cardstock using detail white embossing powder. I then die cut it using the die and slid it into place and secured it with liquid glue. I added it to the Bushel Basket using foam squares for dimension.
For the background, I cut a panel of white cardstock measuring 4 by 5 ¼ inches and then stenciled it using the Tartan Builder Diagonal Stencil collection. I concentrated the stenciling in the center and let it fade out using speckled egg Distress Oxide ink and a blender brush. I only used two of the stencils, omitting the other two; I just wanted something with a country feel and nothing too fussy or distracting; I love how it turned out! I also added some ink splatter with the same ink for added interest and detail.
Now the fun part….putting it all together! I gently laid the A Side of Greens piece exactly how I wanted it on the focal panel; I needed to give it a little nudge in the right direction(s)! ha ha! Once it was exactly how I wanted it, I used a piece of Glad Press n’ Seal wrap over the top, gently pulled it up and then added liquid glue to the back, making certain to add glue to those small points that I didn’t want poking up. I laid it BACK over the focal panel and pressed down until I felt confident I would be able to remove the Press n’ Seal wrap. Have you tried this technique? I don’t use it often, but I love it for times like this!
I added the basket using foam squares, but made certain to leave enough room to tuck the apples down inside. I added them using additional foam squares and then added the leaves here and there using liquid glue. I couldn’t resist using another apple and apple slice outside of the basket; there is a die for the tiny apply seeds on the slice, but I just used a fine tip brown marker to color them in. There are impression lines so it’s really easy to do! Now, I could have used a thank you sentiment on the basket itself, and let that be enough, but I knew I wanted to add another sentiment to the top, so that’s why I chose ‘picked fresh’. I used the All Occasion Script Sentiments Stamp/die set. I added it to the top using foam squares! The entire focal panel is added to a top-folding A2 Kraft Gray cardbase (Betsy used it on one of her Seagrass baskets and I just HAD to get it myself) using foam squares. You’ll notice that It’s lined up edge-to-edge on the right-hand side; this made the most sense visually so it didn’t give a floating illusion to the greenery on the side.
I love how this card turned out; perfect for a teacher, but not too teacher-y! ha ha! Thanks for joining me today!
Hi all and happy Friday! This past Monday we celebrated Memorial Day here in the US, which, along with the start of summer, always puts me in the mood to create some USA-inspired cards. One of the cards I’m sharing here today was posted on Instagram on Monday. I’ve had a few requests to share more details about that card, so that’s on today’s agenda, along with a few more patriotic cards!
I had some fun ideas for using our Rolling Hills stencil set to create some patriotic backgrounds. I wanted to experiment with using it in both the traditional way it was designed, but also in some more unconventional ways. This first card is the one I shared on Instagram on Monday (it’s also our Card of the Week, so everything used here is 15% off!). I used the striped hill stencils from the Rolling Hills set to create a flag background. This was easy to do, just by positioning the stencils in a different way than they were designed to be used.
Over my striped flag background I layered a floral panel that was done with the Print Shop: Spring Mix set, and cut with the coordinating die. The sentiment is actually from a holiday set (Comfort & Joy), I just trimmed off the bottom line of the sentiment to make it appropriate for this occasion.
Here is a little step by step for you for creating the background…
With the Fourth of July approaching fast, I decided to play around with a few more ideas, again using the Rolling Hills stencil paired with a few other goodies. This first one uses the Rolling Hills as they were designed, but stenciled in patriotic reds and blues.
I foiled some fireworks in the sky using our Glow hot foil plate, and added some small gold stars cut with the Ribbon Maker: Pinked Stars die. The sentiment was done with our Bold Alphabet dies to spell “America”, and a “happy birthday” sentiment from the Four Square Birthday stamp set.
My last card uses the stripes from Rolling Hills in a completely different way. I envisioned creating a sort of flag-blowing-in-the-wind kind of look! 
I just kind of went free-form and started at the top (very much like the first card I shared in the step-by-step above) stenciling the various striped sections from the Rolling Hills stencil set, building the design as I moved along, nestling various striped sections, rotating and positioning as needed to fill in each area. I filmed the process and I’ll share a quick Instagram reel soon!
To add even more depth to the background, I used a couple of shades of ink – bright red (Festive Berries Oxide) and a deeper red (Aged Mahagony) for stenciling the stripes. To finish off the card I added some gold ink splatters and a few Rustic Stars (small and large). The “celebrate” sentiment is from the Birthday Blooms stamp set, cut with the coordinating die. The pinked edge along the bottom was cut with the Ribbon Maker: Pinked Stars die.

Hello Greetery friends! It’s Laurie Willison here! This latest Confetti Encore Release was SO much fun. I had to pull out my favorite from the collection and share a quick and simple card!
This card showcases the ADORABLE What’s the Scoop Stamp Set and the Hey Honeycomb Ice Cream Cone Dies.
First up, I found a fun pink cardstock to create the base and added a Postage Frame layer on top. Next, I die cut all the pieces of the Ice Cream Cone and snipped off the bottom of the cone. With some foam tape, I added the cone to the card from along the bottom of the card. Using the “Scoop” dies, I layered them all up with fun colors and then added in some Glossy Accents to give the chocolate some shine. I added in the rest of the stamped sentiment by masking it off along the side of the cone.
To finish off the card, I added the cherry on top with some white gel pen to give it a little extra detail.

Hi there my creative and crafty friends! It’s Wanda here on The Greetery Blog today to share a project with you! I am always so excited and happy to share with you. Hope you’re doing great! I am still so in love with the new release and I decided to make another project featuring some of the new items. I was inspired by the awesome Award Winning dies and really wanted to make a more vintage/masculine project using them. It’s always fun to see how using a different color palette or style can change the look of our favorite stamps and dies….
My finished card is an A2 cream card base. I covered it in diamond harlequin paper and then layered a Postal Frame diecut in cream. The star of the card is the Award Winning Dies! I used the XOXO from the Typed Greetings Dies to make the center of the award stand out.
I started this card by die cutting all the pieces of the award using patterned papers and cardstocks. I generously inked up all the pieces with Antique Linen Distress Ink to make it all look aged and vintage. In between the bottom two layers of the award, I created a rosette layer by folding strips of paper in an accordion fashion. Then I glued all the layers together to make my award. I die cut the XOXO using silver and black cardstocks and attached it to the award using foam dots. I added a mirrored heart charm also. Finally I added a couple silver streamers die cut from the Hey Honeycomb Balloons die set.
It is always nice to have some masculine cards on hand for the guys in our lives! My husband loves the vintage look, so he will most likely be the recipient of this card for our anniversary this year.

Before we get to the beautiful project Melissa is sharing with us today, I wanted to share a note with you. If you follow Melissa on social media, you may already know that between today and when Melissa shared her post and project with me a few weeks ago, her life has taken a dramatic turn. She has been diagnosed with Leukemia, and will be spending several weeks in the hospital, followed by several weeks/months of outpatient treatment. Melissa has become a dear friend and colleague over the past many years, and I know she is dear to many of you as well. Hi Greetery friends, Melissa here! There’s something about butterflies, florals, and arches that just inspire me and The Greetery has them all!
My front panel contains an arched opening that I die cut using the A2 Arches dies. I then used the lovely Wildwood stamp set to stamp around the arched opening. Next I layered my panel over a yellow card base and used the A2 Arches stencils to shade a bit. Lastly, I added a sentiment from the Scripted Sentiments stamps and dies and sweet butterflies using the Curio: Summer Findings die set. Such a delightful card to create!
Hey, Friends! Dawn here to share a fun project with you! I wanted to put that cute new Hey Honeycomb balloon die to use and create a birthday balloon cluster, pairing one of the Honeycomb Balls with a sentiment from Inflated Sentiments! Can we just talk about the color of that PINK honeycomb ball?!! Oh my word, I love it so much! I need that color in ink and card stock and all the things! LOL! And I love that when it’s opened it’s going to be such a fun — and unexpected — pop of color here, since that same color isn’t anywhere else on the card! It truly is as the stamp from the Hey Honeycomb Sentiments set says….”birthday surprise inside”!
I used the Ticker Tape rubber stamp to stamp the background. I wanted a subtle pop….not a major contrast that might distract from the focal point. But also not as subtle as like a Versamark would be. To achieve this, I used a dark gray ink but stamped it off once first, before stamping it on the card base.
I added a sweet flower from the Hey Honeycomb Flower Power die set, to accent one balloon, so each of them has its own fun details.
PRO TIP: I even used one of the flower dies from the same set, to create the leaves! I just cut a few of the petals apart and tucked them behind the flower and voila! Leaves!
A strip of glitter card stock at the bottom, upped the birthday fun factor, to finish things off!

Hi everyone and happy Tuesday! Is the month of May as crazy for your household as it is for ours? So many end-of-the school-year events, graduations, weddings, and more. I took some time this past week to make my graduation card list and get a start on those. I thought I’d share a few with you today!
I pulled out several products from our latest Confetti Encore collection to create these cards. I also pulled out a few cards I had made for the release to act as my inspiration. Sometimes you’re just in the mood to get things done, in which case copying your own past designs is a quick way to accomplish that. I loved Kelly’s tip for doing that last week with her sweet baby cards (using her Lilac card as inspiration), and decided to do the same for a few of these! A change in color scheme and sentiment is sometimes all you need to change a card up to fit a different occasion.
This first card is a complete copy of a more pastel version I created for the Confetti Encore release using the Hey Honeycomb Party Hat die turned upside down to create a party horn instead. This version was created in the grad’s school colors. You can easily change this up to make the same design in any school colors for a card customized for the recipient. All of my cards today also include hot-foiled backgrounds using Ticker Tape and Streamers hot foils. They just seem perfect for grad cards! The sentiment here was cut using the Let’s Have a Word: Congrats die, and finished with a stamped “graduate” sentiment from the Inflated Sentiments set. I foiled the Ticker Tape confetti here using red foil to match my color scheme.
My next card uses the Award Winning die, paired with a sentiment from the Inflated Sentiments set. The background was double-foiled using both the Ticker Tape and Streamers hot foils. Super easy to do, just foil one, then do the other. I did the streamers first and the confetti second so that the confetti looks like it’s falling in front of the streamers. The star accents were cut using the Ribbon Maker Star Strip die. I stamped the “class of 2024” from the Inflated Sentiments set along one of the ribbon tails. These little sentiments are curved to fit in the open space of the larger sentiments in the set, but I just bent it slightly to straighten it out when sticking it to my clear stamping block.
My final card for today uses the Hey Honeycomb Balloon die again with an Inflated Sentiments sentiment stamp. I again double-foiled the background, using Streamers and Ticker Tape. The balloon was diecut from red cardstock and stamped with “congratulations” using black ink. To finish the sentiment I heat embossed the “graduate” portion using gold embossing powder. I added a few of the small curly streamer diecuts from the Hey Honeycomb Balloon set, cut from gold mirror cardstock.
I have about ten more grad cards to make! I will probably stick to these basic layouts as my template, and just change up the colors to fit it graduate, although I am thinking it would be fun to create some more feminine versions by adding some flower or butterfly diecuts among the streamers. I’ll have to see where inspiration takes me!
