Hi there sweet and crafty friends! It’s Wanda here today on The Greetery Blog! Hope everything is going great in your corner of the world. We are enjoying the hot lazy days of late Summer here in Northern California. Ready for Autumn (always!). To share with you today, I made a fun gardening gloves card in shades of warm yellows and browns. This is peak gardening season so I thought this card was appropriate! This time of year I think of sunflowers and that was my inspiration…. You grow, girl!

My finished card is a white A2 card base, layered with brown gingham and more white cardstock. I used the Garden Gear Gloves stencils and dies to create the pretty gardening gloves. I used pale yellow cardstock for the gloves. I used stenciling colors to mimic sunflowers and greenery. The accents are made from kraft cardstock. These are so much fun to stencil – the color possibilities are endless!

I stamped the sentiment from the Way to Grow stamp set in brown ink onto a Pretext Banner Die. The background white layer was die cut from the Patchwork Background Die. I wrapped some twine around my layers before gluing them down. I also added a few yellow enamel hearts.

Warm & Cozy Thanks with Dana

Hi crafty friends! It’s Dana here today and I am stopping by with a thank you card to share with you all. I didn’t have a chance to use the Warm & Cozy dies that were released last Christmas so I thought I would use them today to create a card that can be used throughout the year.

I started my card by creating my card panel with the Herringbone Parquet die. I ink blended a piece of the panel with Kraft ink and attached the two pieces together to create the wall and floor of my scene. I then used the Frosted Frames die to create the frame to go around the edges of the panel. I love the way the frame finishes off the panel to give it a fun, clean design.

Next, I used the Warm & Cozy dies to create my chair and accessories. I used a combination of solid and patterned paper for my die cutting. I love the mix of patterns and I think it adds a little extra fun detail. Lastly, I used the Thankful Heart set and matching die for my basket and sentiment.

Fresh Floral Birthday Card with Laurie

Hello Greetery friends! It’s Laurie Willison here! I was inspired to pull out one of The Greetery’s fabulous Print Shop sets (Print Shop Fresh Floral) to create today’s card. I just love the ease of making beautiful floral backgrounds even for a quick and simple card. (Just a reminder that this Print Shop set is a Last Call item, meaning that it has limited stock available and will not be restocked once it’s gone!)

After ink blending up the blooms in the Print Shop: Fresh Floral Stamp and Stencil Set on a white cardstock base, I grabbed the Postal Frames dies for the next step. I wanted that little dot frame detail by itself so I cut off the postage edge. I stamped the wavy frame from the Sweetest Frames set in a pale blue ink, inside the dotted frame. Using the Put a Bow On It Stamp Set, I added a sentiment. With an alcohol marker, I added a little extra detail in the bow to give it more depth. Such a fun way to add a sentiment to a card! For a little bling, I popped on a couple gold pearls to finish the card.

A Little Lemon Zest with Lea Lawson

Hello and happy Friday! I hope you all had a wonderful week and managed to squeeze in some crafty time! Speaking of squeeze, Lea Lawson is joining us today (yay! welcome Lea!) with a fun and summery lemon-themed card!

Hi crafty friends! It’s Lea today, and I’m so excited to be on The Greetery blog for the first time! I’ve long admired the beautiful products and stunning projects shared here, and it truly feels like a treat to be part of it. I created a summery birthday card full of bright colors and fresh-from-the-garden vibes—let’s take a closer look at how it all came together!

To start things off, I worked on creating a soft and cheerful plaid background using two stencils from the Tartan Builder: Diagonal set. I did some light ink blending in pink to bring those diagonal stripes to life, layering them to achieve a balanced, modern tartan pattern that feels warm and inviting. Once the blending was done, I added a bit of sparkle by diecutting the Frosted Frame from ivory glitter cardstock. I love how it adds a touch of shimmer and perfectly frames the rest of the design.

Next up was all the stamping, including a bit of stamp layering—the part where things really start to pop! I pulled out the Lemon Blossom and Just Mason Around stamp sets to build the focal cluster. I stamped the mason jar and heat embossed the twine first, then layered the lemons and delicate blossoms. These stamps are so easy to align, and if I’d had the time, I would have stamped even more!

TIP: These stamps are small enough that you can place the first layer at the top of your stamping platform and the second layer at the bottom. Simply flip your cardstock to stamp the elements multiple times—perfect for batch creating or building layered clusters with ease!

After everything was stamped, I moved on to diecutting and adding dimension. I used the coordinating dies (Lemon Blossom & Just Mason Around) to cut out each stamped image, ensuring they had that crisp, clean edge. Then I turned to the BotaniCuts Strawberries die set—such a delightful addition! I diecut the berries and leafy pieces from plain white cardstock (skipping the flowers this time), and brought them to life with ink blending. It’s always so rewarding to see how the color builds and transforms the diecuts into something so vibrant and detailed. Once all the pieces were ready, I spent a bit of time arranging everything just right, building up layers and adding foam tape here and there for that bit of lift.

The combination of florals and citrus made me think of breezy summer days and lemonade stands. The sentiment came from Lemon Blossom, and I nestled it among the images so it feels naturally tucked in. I cut it into a banner using the must-have Sentiment Suite Basics die set!

Last Call for these Classics!

Popping in here on the blog to share an update that was also sent out to newsletter, but wanted to share it here as well!

We just restocked stamps and/or dies from of some of our classic sets for the last time. As the saying goes, all good things must come to an end and as our product catalog continues to grow, from time to time we need to say goodbye to some things and make room for the new!

We’ve added a new page to the shop called Last Call where you’ll find sets with limited stock that are available only while supplies last. If any of these sets have been on your wish list, now is the time to snatch them up. Once they’re gone they won’t be restocked. Some items have very limited quantities, so don’t wait too long to make them yours!

Shelved Birthday with Dawn

Hello, friends! I’ve got a fun card to share with you today. I made it for a very bookish boy in our family and it got me to thinking that maybe you’ve got a book-loving kid in your circle as well. It blessed me so much when this kiddo looked at the card and said he was going to save it in his keepsake box!! I don’t know what else is in that box, but it sure made me smile! 🙂

Let me tell you how I made it!

I started out with the Shelved die and cut it out from five different colors of card stock….one for each book. I just used one of them as the base layer, cut apart the books from the other four colors, and layered one from each color on top of the base layer.

PRO TIP: Technically, this means you’ll have enough books left over to make more cards in the same color palette, if you want to knock out a few cards all at once!

PRO TIP: ALSO, you could easily swap out the colors to make this a really fun girly, if you wanted!

In each case, before I glued the book down, I added the stamping and then added a few die cut spine details as well, that I had leftover from a previous project!

PRO TIP: Always tuck those leftover die cut bits back into the envelope with the die! Next time you’re using that die, you might be able to add some of those details onto your new project!

For the Make a Wish, I used the Four Square Birthday Tags stamp and die, and when I stamped the sentiment, I inked it up in two colors, and then before stamping, blended with a blender brush by just tapping along the line of ink where the two colors met on the stamp. Then, when you stamp, you get a nice soft blend rather than a harsh line.

PRO TIP: You can use this same technique on any sentiment or image where there’s a larger surface, such as those chunky letters!

Quick and Easy Daisy Cards with Laurie

Hello crafty friends! It’s Laurie Willison here! Welcome to the clean and simple side of The Greetery! I have a card base idea to share today that will help make your cards easy to put together on a moment’s notice. Sometimes something pops up and we need a quick card. With not a lot of time, this little bit of preplanning can help you in a pinch!

The Greetery has a pack of card stock blanks called Print Shop: Daisy Days Fill in the Blank Paper. This paper pack coordinates with the Print Shop: Daisy Days Stamp and Stencil and the die set. BUT, the color combo of this paper pack and the main image in its blank state, has always been a favorite pattern of mine. I decided to take one of each color and cut them down to make a quick design for a card front.

To cut down to the size I have on each white card base, here is what I did. From the top and bottom, I cut 1⁄8″ off and from the long sides, I cut 1⁄4” off each side. From the panel left, I cut it into 3, 1 1⁄4” strips. I laid them down with adhesive and centered them to create a fun little blank pack of cards. Now, whenever I need a quick and easy card, all I have to do is add a sentiment!

I grabbed the pink card and the Bold Alphabet die to make this super easy card! After cutting “hello” in white cardstock, I made another set out of fun foam. I glued the fun foam hello to the back of the cardstock hello to make the perfect dimensional sentiment. It was so quick to add to the already decorated card base! I added a tiny little wooden heart that I found in my stash to finish off the card.

You can create a premade card stash with any patterned paper you might have, a background stamp, or even a stencil. Sometimes its fun just to create the base and not worry about the sentiment until you need it!

Sippin’ Summer Tea with Wanda

Hi there sweet and crafty friends! It’s Wanda here today on The Greetery Blog! Hope you’re having a wonderful Summer and enjoyed a fun 4^th of July holiday! To share with you today, I made a sweet Summer tea party card! I used a fresh color palette that inspired me from an Instagram post with some cool graphic art. I am always inspired by color palettes! These happy teacups are perfect for a “just because” card. I love the blues together with that pop of orange and stripes for good measure.

My finished card is a cream A2 card base, layered with blue and white striped patterned paper, then a cream layer to feature the teacups. I used the Sips Tea Dies set to die cut three teacups. I gently inked the edges of the cups with darker blue ink. I also splattered on some white paint. I used the Lemon Blossom Die set to die cut two oranges and two leaf clusters. I inked and splattered those too. On the cream panel I used just a small portion of the Flourished Phrases Merry Stencil to add a little flourish to that top left corner. I used the small flowers from the Sweetest Corners Stamp Set to add flowers to two of the cups. Be sure to look at your stamp and supplies in new ways!!

The sentiment was stamped in black ink onto cream cardstock. I used the Sign Off Sentiments stamps and matching dies for the sentiment. I stacked the teacups and affixed them to the card with foam tape. Then I tucked in those little sweet oranges under the stack. (My favorite tea is the Good Earth Sweet and Spicy tea which has orange on the package!) What is your favorite tea? A few tiny orange hearts complete my card.

Tropical Notes with Kelly

Hello and welcome, friends! It’s Kelly here today sharing some tropical inspiration; having said good-bye to June, things are heating up and tropical cards are always fun to make this time of year! I had so much fun cutting and coloring the hibiscus flowers, I decided to make two cards to share with you today! Let’s get started with the flowers.

To begin, I die cut all of the pieces for the flowers and foliage using the BotaniCuts Hibiscus Die from white cardstock and then used dye inks and blender brushes to color all of the pieces. I added a spritz or two of shimmer spray to all of the pieces and set them aside to dry. For the postal-themed card, I used the Airmail Border Stencil on an A2 sized panel of white cardstock. I chose the same pink and yellow inks that I used on the flowers for cohesiveness.

I added some of the orange ink around the edges to give it a worn look. Once that was done, I used the Postcard Details Pierce Plate over the top. I have used this particular die positioned both vertically and horizontally and I just love the different look you can achieve just by changing it up! For today’s card I chose the horizontal placement since I knew the floral arrangement would take up quite a bit of space.

Before I attached the flowers and leaves, I added all of the extra postal stamping and die cuts; these were all created using the Postal Modern Stamp Set and coordinating Postal Modern Die. Once all of those details were in place, I attached the flowers and leaves using foam squares for dimension. Once I had finished the second card, I decided this card needed some gold accents, so I used the Deco Notecard Die to create the cute corners in the bottom left and upper right corners. Once that was done, I attached the entire panel to an A2 card base using liquid glue.

For the second card, I used the Herringbone Parquet Die on an A2 panel of pale pink cardstock. I added just hint of kitsch flamingo distress oxide ink using a blender brush for a bit of dimension. Next, I cut the Antique Gold cardstock using the Deco Frames Die. I also used the A2 Arches Die in the middle of the gold piece to cut the opening. I attached it to the pink background and then arranged the hibiscus flowers until I was satisfied with the arrangement.

The sentiment, which is from the Scripted Sentiments Stamp Set, was cut using the Scripted Sentiments Die and then stamped in black ink. I added it using foam squares near the bottom of the floral cluster. The panel is attached to a top-folding A2 card base using liquid glue. I love the tropical warmth these cards exude and I’m really happy with how they turned out!

You may have noticed that neither of these cards are “occasion” specific, which was intentional on my part; sometimes you just need a generic card and these two will suit just fine! How about you? What are you working on this week? I need to get started on a “golden birthday” card for my darling daughter and a few “welcome to the neighborhood” cards.

I may have mentioned last time I was here, but I finally took some time to sort out my card stash and organize it. Oftentimes I’m in such a rush, I just place them in the organizational bins I use and they are not sorted correctly. Once I had everything organized, I could really see the places where I was lacking and of course, the places that are OVERFLOWING! Ha ha! I’m popping in today to let you know that the 2026 Calendar goodies are now available in the shop! We once again have the full and half-page calendar layouts. Both are printed on an A2 (4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″) sheet size. They are available in the same soft white cardstock as the 2025 version, but we’ve also added a kraft version for even more options.
