Good morning and happy TGIF! I’m taking a turn for this week’s TGIF project, and it was inspired by you! Whenever I help pick and pack orders in the warehouse, I get inspired by some of the product combos you, our customers, come up with. When shipping orders from our latest release, there were a few orders that had what I thought was an awesome combo…some new items from our Leaf & Blade collection along with the Heart Leaf Posy Pocket dies we released earlier this year. What a fun combo! I couldn’t wait to pull mine out and give it a try.

I created these in the same way I created the more springy version from earlier this year, which you can find in THIS post (if you’d like to see a video, you can find that HERE). For this autumn version, I filled them up with BotaniCuts Wheat and leafy sprigs cut with the Boxwood Heart Details die. I sponged the Posy Pockets in shades of autumn using Oxide inks…Rusty Hinge, Seedless Preserves, Wild Honey, Aged Mahogany, and a bit of Peeled Paint. I also added some paint splatters and a little bit of shading to the veins using colored pencils.

The inside uses the matching Shapely Hearts die to create a liner. I stamped on this with an image from the Fall Foliage set. The sentiment (the first part stamped on the outside of the heart, and finished on the inside) is from the Autumn Sketches set.

This was such a fun project to put together, and they’ll make great little cards to send out once it’s feeling a little more autumn-y here (it’s still so hot!!). Thanks so much for joining me today and I hope you have a wonderful (and crafty) weekend!
