Happy TGIF! And it’s an especially good one since it’s a holiday weekend! I hope all of you here in the US have a safe and happy holiday! In case you’re planning to squeeze in some crafty time over the weekend, Dawn is here with some inspiration and a gorgeous card set!
Hi Friends! Â It’s my turn to share for TGIF at The Greetery, and today I’ve got a fun birthday card set to share with you, featuring the Print Shop: Daisy Days collection of printed paper templates, stencils, stamps, and dies! Â
My goal with this collection is to remind you that once you’ve stenciled and stamped your patterns on the pre-printed papers, you don’t have to keep them in tact and use the entire thing on your card front! Â It can maybe be hard to cut those, after going to the effort to add all the color and detail, but they can be used in SO many different ways BESIDES just as an over-all background on your card! Â I’ve got four different cards here, that all started out with the same exact piece of black daisy paper. Â I added all the stenciling and stamping assembly-line-style and then had fun using those panels in four different ways! Â I die cut some of them and simply trimmed up or cut apart some of them, giving me a totally different design for each card, and yet, they all coordinate with each other perfectly! Â
I also had some fun using an ombré effect on each of the sentiments! I used the All Kinds of Happy die and Shadow die, Scripty Hello, Sentiments Squared, and Simply Wonderful sets for the sentiments.
These types of card sets are fun to make because color coordinated sets are so pretty, plus they make really great gifts, and even if you’re keeping them to use yourself, they’re quicker to make because you can assembly-line the production a bit. Â No need to reinvent the wheel with your color palette, if you’ve got one you love!
I hope you’ll give a set like this a try! Â It’s also super fun to actually USE those printed papers!!”
