Hello everyone! Well, it’s that time of year where the to-do list never seems to get any shorter! It’s been busy here behind the scenes shipping orders, restocking, shipping more orders (thank you!!❤️), and finalizing everything we have going on through the end of the year. Exciting!
I’m finally getting a chance to get back to my craft table and put together some how-tos for you. I’ll be sharing several videos over the next week or so using products from our Christmas Market collection. If you have specific requests, let me know and I’ll see what I can do. 🙂
Today I have a couple of videos using our adorable Market Place dies.
In this first video I’ll show you how to create a tri-fold card using the large Market Place dies. I used all three (No. 1, No. 2, & No. 3) of the large buildings here and in my video, but you could definitely use just one of the buildings and change up the colors and embellishments for a similar effect. So fun to embellish using the Market Place Holiday Festoons die and stamp set for the shop names.

Here is that video!
Laurie also made a tri-fold card using the Market Place dies – she took it one step further and also added in the smaller buildings from the Market Place Mini die. She added her buildings to a solid base, and opted not to do the window cut-outs to keep things a little simpler. I love her colorful buildings! You can read more about her card here.

My second video today shows how to create these adorable house boxes by combining the Market Place dies with our Arch Box dies. The large (No. 1, No. 2, & No. 3) buildings are designed to work perfectly with our Large Arch Box, while the Market Place Mini buildings work nicely with the Small Arch Box. I’ll show both in the video here.
Thanks so much for joining me! If all goes according to plan I’ll be back on Monday to continue our Christmas Market video series. 🙂

These are extremely versatile and such novel and beautiful results!! Congrats on this design. I loved how the snow turned out and will sure get a lot of use from it, too.
Thanks, Betsy, for the videos! These houses are adorable!
So fun and absolutely beautiful results! Thanks for the inspiring tutorials! I also love your cardstock color choices…any chance you could share the color names?
I can’t wait for mine to arrive. I was so dejected that I missed these on the first day available and had to click “reorder notification” but at least they’re on their way now. The level of thought that has gone into these is impressive. KUDOS!!!
I LOVE this set! Thay are sooo cute! You think of every detail, which is what makes them so special.
Thank you so much for the tutorial! A quick question: on House 1 (pink house with the candy canes), there is a red cap above the upper windows that fits into the engraved space. I don’t see a die for that; did you cut out a separate red house and trim out those pieces to put on the pink house? Or is there a specialty piece from another set that you used? Having so much fun creating these!
Hey Betsy! For the flocking powder, I ordered (from Amazon) what is called a silver stainless steel tea infuser strainer spoon (mine was about $7). It’s for loose tea, but works great for flocking cards and leaves very little mess. I’ve found that it holds just enough flocking to cover whatever small project I am working on. Just thought I’d share!
I love your products, but would really love to see more YouTube videos. Will you have any upcoming videos for the rest of the Christmas Market Place collection, especially for cocoa cozy and nativity sets?
Hi Veronica! Hoping to share a few more videos of the items mentioned in the coming weeks. 🙂
