Hi there creative and crafty friends! Happy Spring! It’s Wanda here today on The Greetery Blog! Time to think about all those Easter crafting projects! I am smitten with yellow once again this April, so I created a warm and buttery Easter card to share with you – using the gorgeous Honeysuckle Stems stamps and the Rejoice Dies (and some other things too!)

My finished card is a cream A2 card base, layered with the classically pretty A2 Arches Dies in yellow and cream cardstock. I started my card by stamping and die cutting the Honeysuckle blooms first. I used my MISTI to line up those layers just right. I used green inks and yellow inks.
I used the brand new Hymn Sing – Christ is Risen background stamp and stamped onto a cream arch for a subtle and soft background for all my colors. I die cut out the Palm Border die using fresh green cardstock to match the greens in my flower leaves.

To assemble the card I layered the yellow and cream arches. Then I glued the Palm Border at the bottom of the arches. I tucked the Honeysuckle Stems into the palm leaves. Then I die cut “Rejoice” from gold glitter cardstock and vellum and layered those for my large sentiment and glued the Rejoice onto the front of the card. The small sentiment was stamped using the Rejoice Stamp Set onto a Pretext Banner die, and attached using foam tape.
As always, to finish my card I added a few gems and pearls in matching colors. There are some gold ink splatters on both the flowers and the palms too!

That’s it for my project for today. Wishing you a Happy Spring and a Happy Easter! I hope you have a wonderful and creative day. It’s my pleasure to share with you, and I look forward to sharing with you again soon. In the meantime, happy crafting!
XO Wanda

Wonderful job! Yellow is my favorite color and Spring can’t arrive soon enough. After being in the sunshine for 3 weeks, I am definitely spoiled. Winter isn’t over yet. TFS
