Hello crafty friends! It’s Laurie Willison here!
I have a fun little gift box to share with you today. The Stationary Box die is one of my favorites. I just love that you can use it for so many different things. I am already thinking about Valentines….or maybe Hobby Lobby’s Valentines aisles (already!!) have given me some inspiration! It is always fun to see what treats fit inside!
Today I am using the following supplies to create today’s project:
First up, I created the box. The base is a white cardstock box layered with a pink striped patterned paper and a bright pink cardstock. I stamped the “i love you” in a coordinating ink on the flap. Because the treats I am adding to the box are a little heavy, I decided to add black washi tape around the bottom of the box to secure it. I added a little ribbon loop on the flap and then a plastic velcro closure on the flaps to finish off the box.
The box was pretty clean and simple at this point, which is usually just fine with me, but I had a pink penguin in mind, so I whipped one up with the Hey Honeycomb Penguin dies, in all those coordinating colors.
The fun part about this box is that it fits 3 Cosmic Brownies perfectly! One along the bottom and 2 tucked in the top. You can, of course, fit A2 sized cards in this box perfectly. A row of white chocolate dipped pretzels would be so cute! Or 2 homemade sugar cookies would be yummy!
I am so glad you stopped by today and I hope you enjoyed today’s project! If you are inspired to create a clean and simple card or project, please tag me when you share over on Instagram! I love to see all your creations!

Well, it doesn’t get much better than a striped penguin now, does it? Very cute.
