Hi, friends! This is Angelica, and I have a Christmas card to share with you today. I used the Bookish Holiday Frames stamp set along with the Have a Spine die.
Starting with the background, I die-cut cream, evergreen, and honey card stock with Have A Spine die set. I stamped the book cover with a Bookish Frame, using Toffee ink. I glued the pieces together, following Betsy’s video on YouTube, once finsished, I moved onto the tree and sentiment.
I wanted there to be something behind the sentiment, so I went through my stamps, and found Fir and Foliage No 2 stamp set, and coordinating die. I stamped the tree with Mint and Sage inks, and die-cut it. I stamped the trunk with Walnut Stain Distress Oxide ink, and die-cut it. I glued the pieces together, and added a small amount of Multi Medium Matte to the tree, and covered the medium with Rock Candy Clear glitter. Once the adhesive was dry, I attached the tree to the cover with thin foam squares. I stamped the Merry Christmas sentiment using the Bookish Holiday Frames set with Rustic Wilderness Distress Oxide ink, and added the sentiment on top of the tree (cut with the coordinating die). I then attached the panel to a card base. (I did round the car base’s left corners with a 1/4 inch corner rounder punch before attaching the panel.)
This card turned out so elegant. I stepped out of my comfort zone, and left pink off the card, and I’m glad I did. This is going to be a fun card to send out.
That’s all for today!
