Hello Greetery friends! It’s Laurie Willison here! I challenged myself this month to go back and find a favorite set and ink it up. Sometimes, going back and pulling older sets and combining them with a color challenge or even a card sketch is the perfect way to create a card if you are feeling stuck. For today’s card, I pulled out Honey Jar, Buzz Worthy Sentiments and Container Garden to whip up today’s quick and simple card!
To start, I chose a very light gray ink and I stamped the honeycomb prink directly on the card base. Next, I stamped up each of the details….the honey pot, the honey dipper, the adorable little bees and that adorable flower!
After arranging them in a few different ways, I created this very simple card. Once I had all the pieces where I wanted them, I went back in and added the sentiment in black ink.
You know I love a good clean and simple card, but you could definitely go in and add layers to this card, more flowers or even a background design if you like a more detailed look.
I am so glad you stopped by today and I hope you enjoyed today’s project! If you are inspired to create a clean and simple card, please tag me when you share over on Instagram! I love to see all your creations!

Adorable!! 🐝
Such a beautiful card. I love your inspiration.
This is a beautiful clean card!!
Laurie, this is “Simply beautiful!” 😉 What struck me were the colors you chose! I know that sounds odd. What’s so striking? The grey! I would have never thought to use grey, & it works WONDERFULLY! 😉
Beautiful
Cute & simple as can 🐝, Thanks for sharing!
A lovely sweet card! Everyone would bee happy to receive this card.
I love this card! Can you share what colors you used for the honey jar? And what did you use to make the yellow honey drip down the side? It’s a great card and I want to try and to make something similar because, well, who wouldn’t want to receive a card this sweet?!!
Thanks!
Laurie, your honey jar looks so realistic and delicious 😋 (my favorite is Orange Blossom). Love how you pulled all the elements together for a perfect card!
