Sippin’ Summer stamp set and die, Trendy Tumbler die, and Summer Silly Straws die
Sip a bit of summer with this fun product group! It starts with the Trendy Tumbler die, which resembles the cute wood-lid glass tumblers that are so popular right now! You can fill it up with your favorite “drinks” just by sponging some ink (coffee anyone?), or stamp some refreshing lemonade using our Sippin’ Summer stamp set. The coordinating Sippin’ Summer die includes dies to cut just the lemon cluster and slices from the set, allowing you to use them for other applications outside of the tumbler concept. We also have some fun Silly Straws! These coordinate with the Trendy Tumbler die; the set includes three different word straws – happy, summer, and hello.

Large Lemon stencil, Large Lemon die
Bigger isn’t always better, but in this case, it definitely is! Our Large Lemon stencil set fills an A2 card front with a jumbo lemon, foliage, and blooms. The Large Lemon die can be used on its own as a stand-alone die, or it can be combined with the stencil to add some details to the diecuts.

Squeeze the Day Sentiments stamp set and die
We have some fun sentiments to coordinate with the lemon-themed products introduced above, along with a coordinating die.

Atrium die and Atrium hot foil, Bird of Paradise Border die, Palm Border die
Our next product ensemble was inspired by an atrium you might find at a botanical garden. This product suite includes an Atrium die as well as the same design in hot foil form. We also have a couple of foliage border dies, perfect for layering over the atrium – elegant bird of paradise leaves, and palm fronds. These products are all sized to work with a vertical A2 card.

Garden Gateway die, Bloom & Grow stamp set, Impressionist Garden stencil and die
Our new Garden Gateway die is perfect for pairing with so many of your favorite florals! The Bloom & Grow Sentiments set is filled with bitty sentiments that can be stamped onto the sign included in the Garden Gateway die. Our Impressionist Garden stencil creates a lovely floral arch with an abstract watercolor-like look, and it nicely frames the Garden Gateway arch.

BotaniCuts Wisteria die
Last but not least, we’re adding a new BotaniCuts die to our lineup – Wisteria! This die creates a pretty hanging wisteria branch. Have fun coloring them in your favorites shades of pink and purple!

I put together a video showcasing the new Wisteria die…I’ll show you how I like to color these and how to assemble them…
Goodness, I have so many projects to share with your today! Let’s kick it off with some lemon goodies, in particular the Large Lemon products suite…
- The Large Lemon stencil is perfect for quick and easy cards, but you can step it up to. Here I kept it very simple, but did add a few diecut leaves and blooms for a bit of extra dimension to my stenciled panel.
- The Squeeze the Day Sentiments all fit nicely on the large lemon
- When using a white card front, consider adhering it to a colored card base for a pop of color!
This next Large Lemon card uses many more layers!
- Layer two Large Lemon diecuts for a jumbo focal point.
- Layer the lemons over a background created with the A2 Stitched Scallops die stenciled with the matching Scalloped Gingham stencil for a summery picnic vibe.
- Here I used one of the Summer Silly Straws and just trimmed off the straw portion to use it as a regular word die. The “summer” portion is from the Squeeze the Day set.
How about some fun lemon-shaped notecards?!
- Diecut the Large Lemon “on the fold” to create a lemon-shaped base, then top it off with the diecut leaves. and add a few blooms from the set.
- These are super quick to create…diecut the lemons from yellow cardstock and just stencil the lemon details. Same with the leaves…cut from green cardstock, and stencil just the details.
- The sentiments layered over the lemons were stamped with the Squeeze the Day set, and cut with the matching die.
- These would make fun tags or place cards as well for a summer birthday party!
Now for a few projects using the new Trendy Tumbler and Sippin’ Summer set…
- Mix the Summer Silly Straws with the straw included with the Trendy Tumbler die for a fun mix. The stripes were stamped using the Sippin’ Summer set.
- Diecut the Trendy Tumbler from acetate to create “glass” you can layer over a stamped tumbler (the lemonade was stamped with the Sippin’ Summer set).
- Add some condensation to the glass using clear Nuvo Drops or Glossy Accents!
- The A2 Stitched Scallops die makes a fun background for the tumblers.
- A couple of diecut blooms from the Large Lemon set make a fun accent to cluster around the tumblers.
This slimline card is filled with topsy-turvy tumblers!
- To create this interactive card I cut a Tipsy Strip apart into three pieces and used each section under a tumbler. You could do this with so many different diecut elements!
- The lemon clusters from the Sippin’ Summer set can be cut with the coordinating Sippin’ Summer die to use as accents or backgrounds.
You don’t have to limit yourself to filling the Trendy Tumbler with lemonade! Here are a few other ideas for you…
- Create a “pink drink” by simply sponging the Trendy Tumbler with pink ink. Add some platters for bubbles.
- Add a few small strawberries, cut with the Fancy Finger Foods die.
- The marshmallow that’s included in the Hug in a Mug Sweet Treats die makes great ice cubes!
- The BotaniCuts Strawberry cluster and tiny flowers from that set are the perfect accent for my pink drink.
- Some Scalloped Gingham finishes off the background, done in a soft blue onto an A2 Stitched Scallops diecut.
How about some iced coffee?
- To create the coffee, cut two Tumblers from acetate and sandwich a piece of brown vellum between the two pieces of acetate, as well as some ice cubes cut from vellum using the Hug in a Mug Sweet Treats die, and a vellum straw.
- Heat emboss a sentiment onto the clear tumbler using the Brew-tea-ful Day stamp set and white embossing powder (be careful not to over heat and melt the acetate)
- The Char-cut-erie Board die makes the perfect grounding element, along with a Cozy Cup Coaster
- A little Fancy Finger Foods sandwich and some greenery sprigs cut with the new Bird of Paradise Border die finish off the scene. It feels like a trendy coffee shop!
- The background was simple to create…just brush some brown Distress Oxide ink with a finger brush and add a few splatters.
Next let’s go out and explore the garden! First up are a few Atrium cards…
- Give your Atrium diecut a vintage patina by sponging with Rusty Hinge, Aged Patina, and Pumice Stone oxide inks. Dab some embossing ink in a few spots and sprinkle with gold embossing powder and heat to set it.
- A dark green background makes the atrium and foliage pop!
- Layer the Bird of Paradise Border both under and over the atrium for a full look.
- The pretty sentiment used here is from the Scripted Sentiments stamp set and matching die. Tuck the flourishes around the atrium and plants!
- Create a lush one-layer background by foiling the Atrium, then blend green inks over the top of the foiling.
- Stamp plants and greenery using the Fall Foliage stamp set. Use a variety of green inks and layer the stamped images.
- Brush off excess ink as you go along so the foiling can shine.
- Finish it off with a popped up sentiment – this one is from the Opposites Attract set.
- Layer both the Palm Border and Bird of Paradise Border over a hot foiled Atrium to create a lush, full garden!
- A few BotaniCuts Hibiscus blooms add a tropical feel.
- The sentiment here is from the Arched Sentiments set and cut with the coordinating die. Perfect for a summer birthday!
- Blend a bit of yellow/green ink onto the foiled panel to add extra depth to the background.
- Create an impressionist style garden using our Impressionist Garden stencil set.
- Stencil the design onto the background, layer an Atrium die over the top, then another stenciled Impressionist Garden, this time cut with the coordinating die and popped up with foam adhesive.
- Layer the Impressionist Garden diecut on the left side, trim off the excess and use the left-over piece on the right to make it nice and full
- The sentiment here is from the All Occasion Script Sentiment set and cut with the matching die
Next, a few projects using the new Garden Gateway paired with other goodies both new and old!
- Create an arch-shaped card base using the largest die from the A2 Arches set. Cut an arched window using a smaller die from the set, which coordinates nicely with the arched opening in the Garden Gateway die.
- The gate portion on the Garden Gateway die is attached, but you can easily snip it apart if you want to create a gate that actually opens.
- The small sign can be added to the gate, and stamped with the tiny sentiments from the Bloom & Grow stamp set.
- The Impressionist Garden stencil and matching die is designs to flow nicely around the Garden Gateway arch.
- Add a fun banner to the Garden Gateway arch using the Takes the Cake Banner. The sentiment stamped onto the banner is from the Takes the Cake stamp set.
- Stencil the flowers from the Impressionist Garden stencil in multiple colors, then layer a few tiny diecut blooms over the top, cut using the BotaniCuts Wildflower Mix die.
- The diecut greenery on the front of the gate was cut using the Garden Tub Filler die.
- Create a weathered wood look by diecutting the gate from gray kraft cardstock, then brushing with a bit of white paint.
- Have fun getting creative with previously released products that you can pair with the new Garden Gateway die! Here I used the Print Shop: Spring Mix stamp + stencil set and matching die.
- I placed the full Spring Mix panel behind the gate, then layered individual blooms in front of the gate.
- The details really finish it off – don’t forget to add the hinges and latch to the gate, and a sign as well, stamped with the Bloom & Grow stamp set.
Lastly, a few BotaniCuts Wisteria projects!
- The Filigree Frame die makes a pretty background for the Wisteria branch.
- Layer a Woven Cane panel underneath the Filigree Frame for even more texture. Keep the colors soft to let the wisteria shine!
- The label included in the Filigree Frame set is perfect for framing a sentiment like this thank you sentiment from the All Occasion Script Sentiments set.
- This card was created in the video shared towards the beginning of this post.
- Diecut the Atrium die from metallic/mirror cardstock for a touch of glam.
- The sentiment used here is from the Scripted Sentiments set. It’s fun to tuck the flourishes around the atrium!
- As designed, the Wisteria branch has three blooms, but you can always add more for a fuller look.
That wraps up my projects, but the team has so much more to share with you, plus a giveaway of course!
