Four Square Tags Die + Four Square Holiday Tags stamp set and matching die
We have a brand new tag concept to introduce today! Our new Four Square Tags die makes it so easy to create batches of tags. Start with a 5-1/2″ square of cardstock, stamp with images of your choice (the Four Square Holiday Tag stamp set is filled with sentiments and images sized perfectly to use with the tag die), then cut to create four fun tags, each with a hole for hanging and decorative detailing along the top. When paired with your favorite stamp positioning tool (such as a MISTI), the included positioning template makes it so easy to stamp then cut to create batches of tags!

Wintry Mix die and Snowflake Prints stencil
Add a frosty touch to your projects with some new snowflake products! The stencil is a one-step quick and easy way to stencil pretty snowflake backgrounds. Our Wintry Mix die cuts snowflake details, and can be used with the Four Square Tag die above, or used for backgrounds and more! (**Note the Wintry Mix die does not directly coordinate with the Snowflake Prints stencil)

The Large Leaves: Magnolia is pretty for adding foliage to the bloom, or use it on its own to create garlands, etc. The Magnolia Wreath is a quick and easy way to create focal points on cards, or use it as a package topper, napkin ring, etc! Tear Strip Cover Ups and Ribbon Maker: Wood Bead Garland dies
Last year we introduced our Tear Strip Tags concept. We are releasing a fun new die that coordinates with our Tear Strip product suite that will allow you to cut decorative designs from the tags, giving them a fresh, elegant look. We’re also adding another die to our Ribbon Maker series – this one is a set of two that feature “wood beads” in both a straight and scalloped design. Perfect for pairing with our Paper Ribbon Rolls to create pretty wraps (for any size package!), or they’re sized just right for borders on cards as well.

I have so SO many projects to share with you today… Let’s get started! I have created several suites of wraps, tags, and cards, each with a very different vibe. I just couldn’t get enough of these new products!
This first suite of projects is sweet and sparkly and filled with pastel elements…
Let’s look at each element of this ensemble a little closer!
First, the card…
- Layer both sizes of the Snipped Snowflake 3 for a pretty focal point. Fold the snowflakes on their “spines” for extra dimension!
- Top the snowflake with some Starburst Baubles diecuts, add a gem to the center for extra sparkle.
- Use glittery texture paste with the Snowflake Prints stencil to create gorgeous dimensional backgrounds.
- Use the negative of one of our frame dies to create a pretty border – this one was cut using the largest die from the Postal Frames set, cut from rose gold mirror cardstock.
- The “just for you” sentiment from the new Four Square Holiday Tags stamp set fits nicely on the Sentiment Suite Basics banner die.
A closer look at the pretty snowflake tags…
- You can watch a how-to of these tags in the Youtube video linked earlier in this post, or click here.
- Heat emboss on glitter cardstock for a gorgeous look.
- The small stars in the center of the snowflakes were added using the Rustic Star Small die.
- The cardstocks used here are from Cardstock Warehouse – Desert Sand MirriSparkle and Coral Metallic
Let’s break down this pretty package topper…
- The Magnolia Bloom can be made into two different sizes. The smaller one layers beautifully over the Magnolia Wreath.
- Create tassels from a mix of materials…include a layer or two cut from metallic and shimmer cardstock for gorgeous holiday tassels.
- The Tear Strip Tag Cover Ups die gives your Tear Strip Tags an elegant look. Layer the cut-out layer with a solid cut from metallic cardstock, allowing the metallic shine to show through the pretty cut-out details.
- Cut the new Ribbon Maker: Wood Bead Garland from our White Paper Ribbon for a light and airy look.
The Tear Strip Tags have been a favorite of mine this past year, and now there’s even more to love with the new Cover Ups die...
- Have fun mixing colors and materials when creating the Tear Strip Tags. The new Cover Ups die opens up even more possibilities for this fun product. Of course they work with the Tear Strip Banners too!
- The Tear Strip Tag Toppers can be added as well to create the contrasting tag tops.
Now for an up-close look at these pretty honeycomb ball snowflake tags…
- To make flat-backed honeycomb balls, only open them half way – perfect for tags! The smaller tag from our Crimped Circle Tag die is the perfect size for the balls, turning them into a tag that can easily be tied to a package, etc.
- The Snipped Snowflakes 1 die makes a pretty base for the Honeycomb Balls – it’s layered here over the larger tag from the Crimped Circle Tags set, which was stamped with to/from sentiments from the Four Square Holiday Tag stamp set.
- Add glitter to the honeycomb balls by spraying them with spray adhesive, then sprinkling with glitter and shaking off any excess. Splatter with gold paint for even more sparkle!
- Add some greenery sprigs using the Big Branches: Pine die.
- Top them off with a Big Beautiful Bow!
You can use the Large Leaves: Magnolia die to make jumbo poinsettias!
- Punch a 1″ circle to use as the base for your poinsettia. Just start adhering Magnolia Leaves around the circle, starting with the larger leaves. Keep layering leaves until your poinsettia is as full as you’d like it to be. Trim the stems from the leaves as you add the top layer of leaves.
- Cut the leaves from a mix of materials – cardstock, shimmer cardstock, and glitter cardstock for interesting blooms.
- Top it off with a flower center – a few ideas for things to use as the center could be the stamens from the BotaniCuts Tulip die (used here), the center for the large bloom from Embroidered Blooms, or the BotaniCuts Morning Glory center. There are likely more possibilities, but these are a few ideas!
- Add gold paint splatters and glitter for more sparkle and shine.
Next up is this dark and moody suite featuring the new Magnolia Bloom, Wreath, and Leaves, along with other new goodies too.
First let’s take a closer look at this package topper…
- The Magnolia Bloom is perfect for package toppers. Use a pencil or other round tool to curve the petals a bit for more dimension.
- Layer several Large Leaves: Magnolia leaves onto a strip of ribbon or paper the length of your package for a little drama. Mix up the materials…different shades of cardstock, glitter paper, etc. Use the same idea to create a whole garland!
- More mixed tassels here again. Diecut and layer several for really full tassels – five or six layers were used here.
- Make honeycomb swivel tags by adhering one honeycomb ball to a small Crimped Circle tag. Attach it to a second tag (stamped with a to/from sentiment) using a brad so the top tag will swivel to reveal the sentiment.
- Back the tags with a couple of Snipped Snowflakes 2 diecuts.
- Use a gold brad, then top the brad with a gem for a super elegant touch.
Some deep green and gold Four Square Tags…
- Heat emboss the foliage frame from the Four Square Holiday Tags stamp set with metallic embossing powder on a dark base for an elegant look.
- Diecut the images from the Four Square Holiday Tags stamp set using the matching die and layer with foam tape for extra dimension.
- Layer a to/from tag behind the decorative front tag. Tie the two together with twine or string.
Now the card using the Magnolia Wreath die
- The Magnolia Wreath die makes quick and easy focal points for cards. Diecut two and layer them – they were cut from two shades of dark green cardstock here.
- Add gold ink splatters for some shine.
- Add berries – these were cut using the BotaniCuts Juniper die.
- Add a string to your wreath and “hang” it from the top of your card.
- Our Nordic Frames set is a classic that goes with so many things and looks great with the new Magnolia Wreath
- The sentiment was stamped with the Four Square Holiday Tags stamp set and dieuct with the matching Elements die.
And a slimline card using those gorgeous Magnolia Leaves and Bloom
- Create a “cascade” of Magnolia Leaves across the front of a slimline card. Tuck in a few Big Branches: Pine for a wintery touch
- Cut the leaves from shades of green and gold/brown cardstock. Since magnolia leaves are brown on the backside, it’s a natural choice of colors.
- Cut the Magnolia Bloom center from glitter cardstock. Add some glitter to the flower petals too, along with just a little ink blending using light yellow/tan ink.
Next I have an ensemble that features our new BotaniCuts Pear die. When done up in glitter and gold, they’re perfect for the holidays. This ensemble would be beautiful for hostess gifts during the holidays!
Let’s take a closer look at everything! First the card…
- Experiment with different mediums and glitters. For my pears, I used a mix of gold metallic paint, clear/white glitter and gold glass glitter. When I was making them I really didn’t intend for them all to end up on one card, but here we are!
- Diecut the stems and leaves from gold mirror cardstock.
- Tuck in pine sprigs cut with the BotaniCuts Pine Bough die, along with sprigs that were stamped with the Four Square Holiday Tags stamp set to fill in the spaces between the pears.
- Add a sentiment from the Four Square Holiday Tags stamp set, stamped in gold ink.
- It’s fun to use a mix of elements to create different coordinating tags for a whole matching ensemble!
- Create pear-shaped tags by diecutting “on the fold” – fold a piece of cardstock and position the pear die so that the top of the pear is above the fold and doesn’t cut through it. Add the stem, leaves, and a string to tie to a package.
- The Four Square Tags can be created in so many different colors and combos from basics to rustic to elegant like these, depending on your colors and ink choices.
Next up is a kraft, gold, and white ensemble…
Let’s take a closer look at the tags…
- The to/from sentiment with the lines (from the Four Square Holiday Tags set) can be stamped near the bottom edge of the tags, allowing the greenery elements from the stamp set to be stamped above the sentiment.
- Stamp and heat emboss the sentiments first using white embossing powder, then stamp and emboss the foliage images with gold embossing powder.
- Gray Kraft cardstock (from Cardstock Warehouse) has become one of my favorite neutrals. It’s just a little lighter and brighter than traditional kraft and feels more modern.
- This honeycomb ball/snowflake topper was created in the same was as the green/gold one earlier in this post. Change up the colors for a different look!
- The BotaniCuts Pinecones are large enough to make beautiful package toppers too.
A pretty coordinating card too…
- This card uses the exact same layout/elements as the green/gold one from the Magnolia ensemble. Changing up the colors of the Magnolia Wreath and the sentiment make this appropriate all year long.
- The thank you sentiment is from the Arched Sentiments stamp set and cut with the matching die
- The berries were again cut using the BotaniCuts Juniper die.
Next I have several cards using the new goodies from our All That Glitters collection. I just couldn’t stop creating with everything!
Up first is this card using the new BotaniCuts Pinecones die. They are nice and big and plump, perfect for focal points… and no assembly (other than to “fluff), so they’re quick and easy!
- Layer two pinecone diecuts, sandwiching foam adhesive between the two for beautiful dimension. “Fluff” the diecut details on the top layer before adhering to the bottom layer. Leave the bottom layer “unfluffed” as a base.
- Use a colored pencil to add shading to the pinecones.
- Use a white pen to add white details to the tips, then add glitter for frosty shine.
- Create a pretty white-on-white background using the Snowflake Prints stencil and glittery texture paste. It adds lots of interest without competing with those gorgeous pinecones.
- Top it off with a Big Beautiful Bow, assembled using two shades of red cardstock.
- The sentiment here is from Signed & Sealed and makes this card perfect for winter, not just the holidays. It would be a great way to say “thank you” for a holiday gift!
Next are a few project using the new Rustic Stars (large and small) dies.
- Layer both the small and large Rustic Stars to create a concentric, layered star.
- The Herringbone Parquet die creates the perfect background to coordinate with the Rustic Stars.
- Diecut the “wire” portion of the stars from metallic or mirror cardstock. Layer them over or under the wood frame for your desired look.
- Add some greenery sprigs using the BotaniCuts Pine Bough die, and some berries with the Mint & Berry Bits
The Rustic Star dies make great tags and package embellishments too!
- Create different “wood” tones by using different shades of brown or gray inks. Think outside the box too…red or green “wood” would be fun to create too!
- Add greenery sprigs using the BotaniCuts Pine Bough die.
- To create a solid base/tag backer, diecut two of the wood frame portions and adhere them back-to-back, keeping the center of the star intact and securing with double-sided tape sandwiched between the two layers.
- The “just for you” sentiment is from the Four Square Holiday Tags stamp set
- Loop a length of string through the stars so you can attach them to packages, etc.
I showed a jumbo poinsettia earlier in this post, made with the new Large Leaves: Magnolia die. They’re so pretty for package toppers, but make a big statement on a card front, too! I’ll share a reel soon showing how I put these together, but it’s pretty easy – just start with a small circle as your base and keep adding leaves until your flower is as full as you like.
- Create poinsettias using the Large Leaves Magnolia die – cut the leaves from a variety of colors. Here I used a couple shades of red/burgundy cardstock, and also ink blended a few that were cut from white.
- I used the BotaniCuts Tulip die here for the center, but you could also use another die from your stash, a cluster of sequins, etc.
- Position the poinsettia off center, then trim away the excess along the top and side.
- Tuck in some sprigs stamped with the Four Square Holiday Tags stamp set.
- Heat embossing with metallic embossing powder onto diecuts cut from dark cardstock gives an elegant look without any distracting white edges.
I couldn’t resist one more card using the new tassels and Ribbon Maker: Wood Bead Garland…
- Snip the loop at the top of the tassel so you can slip it around the Wood Bead Garland, a branch, etc.
- The Ribbon Maker: Wood Bead Garland die is great for cutting long ribbons to go around packages, but they’re great for cards as well.
- Diecut the Wood Bead Garland from kraft cardstock, then sponge with some brown ink and add splatters for a realistic wood look.
- Add some pine branches. I used both the BotaniCuts Pine Bough and Big Branches: Pine here.
- The thank you sentiment is from the previously released Tagged Elegance set.
And finally…one last project from me before I send you on your way to hop around the team blogs!
I’m always looking for ways to wrap up gift cards. Our Snipped Snowflakes dies make super cute and easy gift card sliders.
- Diecut two snowflakes – Snipped Snowflakes 1 was used here, but any of our Snipped Snowflakes dies would work. Adhere them together just by the two tips that extend above and below the inert.
- Diecut the medium-sized rectangle from the Crimped Frames set to use as a backer for the gift card – attach it with a glue dot or other ahesive of your choice.
- Slip the gift card between the two snowflakes.
- Embellish with a smaller diecut snowflake, a sentiment, and some sprigs. Images from the Four Square Holiday Tags set were used here.
