We are in full summer break mode in our household. My daughter loves to spend the whole day outside with our dogs, so the only time I have to craft right now is early in the morning. And when I say early, I’m talking 4am! My girlfriends think I’m CRAZY getting up that early, but I love it. I get to have my coffee in peace, and I get to craft with no interruptions. With that said, a few days ago I sat at my desk around 4:15am, turned on a podcast, and started die-cutting card stock with the Petal Pusher Blooms Die.
I picked a large rainbow of card stock to die-cut, and glued them together to make daisies. My initial idea was to make a set of cards, using a few daisies on each card, but that is a formula I do all the time. Don’t get me wrong- I love my sets of cards, but this morning I decided to push myself, and make a slimline card. I made an arrangement on a white background I die-cut with the large Crimped Slimline die. Once I liked the flower positions, I glued them into place, then started die-cutting leaves to fill in the blank areas. I glued the leaves into place, and finished the panel with a Little Labels Stamp and Cut Combo sentiment. I attached the panel to a Sea Salt card base to finish the card.
So in a house with two big dogs, a husband, and a VERY talkative 6 year old little girl, you now know my quiet “me time” is in the early hours, and you will usually find me at my craft table. This card took me a few hours to make, and yet I was so content in my little world, I didn’t even notice the time flying by.
Thanks for letting me share a little bit of my day with you, and I hope you enjoyed the card!

Super cute summery card!
I love this card and what a good idea when you don’t have a lot of time all at once. I’m going to start cutting out daisies whenever I have a bit of time and then just put simple cards together when needed.
What a bright and happy card! You’ve inspired me to get out the Petal Pusher die and start making some cards. I’m glad you found your quiet time so you can create…it is good for the soul.
Wow! 4 AM? Bravo!! Your attention to detail is rewarding. Beautiful card. A friend once said “you should sell your cards” My husband said “she would have to charge $50 to get her times worth” Ha! I’m putsy but I love the process!
Nancy, my husband used to say the same thing! Lol. “But worth every penny “ he added. After every card I made, I’d ask for his opinion.
He told family & friends “I know more about card making than any man should “. I was blessed he supported my hobby in every way. Loved your comment!

What a pretty and delightful card! I like the idea of putting the flowers this way – it has me thinking of other possibilities. Thank you for sharing!
That’s real cute right thar!
BEAUTIFUL!!! I LOVE the bright colors & how you’ve clustered these daisy’s on the card front! As for getting up at 4 am…….I would NEVER make it! LOL ESPECIALLY, when our children were little! I’m GLAD you can do it though, or we wouldn’t have this LOVELY CREATION!!! BLESSINGS!!! 😉
Very Summer. All the color is so pretty.
Love it. It’s “so Happy”.
I get my best ideas for cards about 5 a.m.
I wake up and can’t go back to sleep. Instead
of solving world problems, I design cards for
my card-making group. Did you glue the
CS together before you cut the daisies?
Sometimes the dies won’t cut through two
layers. Love this card. thanks for sharing

Stunning!!
I think these flowers are so “like” summertime! I know your quiet time is seriously special for you. Cherish her age because before you know it…she will turn 13 and your world will go upside down! Love your color choices, they go so well together. My mornings are usually spent outdoors in my garden. It has been a struggle this year. We haven’t gotten the rain we need. Blueberries are slowly coming in. TFS
It’s like being in a garden, I love how your card turned out! And Kudos for your crafting hours‼️
Happy Summer 😎
I love your beautiful, colorful card! I am not a morning person, but I get it! I just do it reverse, up until late at night creating and then going to bed! I love how you find time to have time to create in your own little world. I always love your creations and the videos you do.
Daisies are so fresh and cheerful! Love your idea of making a whole bunch to use on several cards, Angelica!
Wow! This thank you card would be worth any kind effort–so happily colorful. Thanks for sharing Melissa.
