Hi there! Melissa is here today with our Friday inspiration, but before we get to her project, a fun announcement!
I will be joining the Taylored Expressions gang for their Stamp Joy event in October! It’s their 10th year hosting this event, and the team there is amazing, so you know their events are as well. I’m so excited to join them by teaching one of their mini classes. You can find out more about the Stamp Joy event here. If you want to save a little on registration, take advantage of their early bird sign up, which ends July 6!
I’ll be busy planning our class over the next few weeks and my question for you is, what would you like to see? Any thoughts? I have a few of my own, but would love to hear what sort of class you’d like to see from The Greetery! 🙂
Now let’s hear it from Melissa and her beautiful project! As always, her work is layered and beautiful and I see something new every time I look (love how she layered the honeycomb corners with the Daisy Days!)…
I love Summertime, and honeybees, and daisies, so I decided to throw all of these favorites together and create a card to share with you!
The Honey Bees die is one of my favorite…I love the classic, elegant feel of this particular bee. I used the Print Shop: Daisy Days Stencil to create my background and followed with the sweet, Buzz-worthy Sentiments to finish. I also added a few diecut blooms, which were cut using the BotaniCuts Forget Met Nots die. Pure Summertime bliss!

This card is beautiful! And Betsy – if you were to hold The Greetery online classes and retreats, I would be the first one to sign up. I love your stamps and dies, and it would be so much fun to play along with you. I’d love to see a Christmas Greetery retreat, a spring retreat with butterflies and flowers, a fall retreat with all the gorgeous fall foliage…. basically a retreat with you for every season and every occasion. 🙂
I agree with the request for online classes!
Oh, Betsy! Please do consider virtual classes/retreats in the future! I still remember how much fun they were in the old PTI days. 💕
Melissa, your beautiful card is as ‘sweet’ as can be! 💗
I too would love if you had virtual classes, especially if they could be accessed at any time, as I live overseas (military community) making it difficult ,if not impossible to attend live. (I lived for 5 years in South Korea and currently back in Germany )
Melissa, I always enjoy your artsy cards! Beautiful!
Betsy, I am signed up for Camp Joy, but only am able to attend Saturday which I don’t think will have your mini class. But how exciting to see you joining with the fun weekend! I would totally love a Greetery retreat some day! Any class would be a bonus, always love layering of dies.
Lovely card, Melissa! I always love your beautiful style and I adore that bee die cut!
I am beyond excited to hear the The Greetery will be at Stamp Joy!! I have been volunteering for quite a few years. It’s amazing! I love all the beautiful things The Greetery has released! A huge fan of Betsy!! Wonder if I can volunteer and take the class??
Finally checking in with my favorite, The Greetery, and just learning about the classes. I wonder if the classes will be available on video (even after the camp dates).
If I could ask for a class from you Betsy, it would be how you bring your dies to life with your different inks and blending and colored pencils. Especially created on a dark background. I know you’ve shared a few videos already but I’d truly enjoy a card, from beginning to end using your beautiful methods.
I’m so happy you’re designing for the event.
Melissa, I’m always amazed at your beautiful, one of a kind cards, & how you combine different patterns. TFS!
Happy 4th‼️🇺🇸
