Thank you so much for stopping by today! Wanda has an amazing TGIF project to share with you today, and we also have another sneak peek of our new All Wrapped Up collection that’s coming to the shop on Tuesday!
Here’s peek #2 of my smorgasbord board of paper goodies. Our new All Wrapped Up collection is mainly dies (with a couple of great sentiment stamp sets) that are filled with possibilities that I think you will love. What do you spy in this fun peek?
Now let’s turn it over to Wanda for her incredible TGIF project…
Hi crafty friends! I’m so happy to be joining you here today on The Greetery Blog for TGIF! It’s always my pleasure to share a project with you! I’m totally in the mood for Winter and Christmas crafting and I have a blizzard of a project for you today! I was inspired by my small snowglobe collection, so I created a shaker/snowglobe card to share with you today! I used lots of my favorite products from The Greetery – including those awesome Candy Pops! So, yes, my snowglobe is inside a candy!
My finished card is an A2 white card base layered with red and then striped cardstocks. I used the Postal Frames as my top layer. The feature of my card is a Candy Pop that I made into my snowglobe shaker. I’ve also added pretty silver snowflakes from the Snowflake Soiree Dies.
I die cut out the City Skyline and the Tree from the Christmas Time in the City Dies. I added bits of glitter to the tops of the buildings and the star on the tree. For the background I used Distress Oxide Ink to blend a bright blue sky. I stamped in some tiny snowflakes from the Christmas Time in the City stamp set. I stamped the sentiment from the Candy Pops stamp set onto the outer edge of my candy.
I assembled the Candy Pop using the 1/2″ bubble. I added fake snow from the craft store and some tiny white sequins into my snowglobe candy before assembling it all together. The candy pop was fully assembled first and then glued onto the card. I added some twine to the wrapper and some festive holly and berries! This was such a fun project!
Have a great weekend, and happy Winter! Don’t you just love Christmas projects?! Take care and I will see you soon. Until then, happy crafting! Wanda

This card is such a sweet treat. Great idea to use the candy pop set as a snow globe!
I’ve always loved wood cuts and having them as tags is just brilliant – my tree is all woodland inspired and I would love to add some wood cuts to my collection of ornaments. I’m planning on a artcute-ery party after Christmas to use and play with my new Greetery charcuterie ideas. SO FUN! Wanda has made a beautiful city scene with a happy tree centerpiece. Bob Ross would be proud! LOL
What a darling card! Love how you created the snow globe. The sneak peek is enticing also!
So unique to put your snow globe in the candy. I love it
Hi, Betsy and Wanda –

This project just fills me with joy and anticipation of Christmas! Oh, genius combination of products to come up with a snow globe out of a candy pop! Love it so much, Celia
I’m an avid crafter. I always NEED inspiration to give me ideas to jump off of. Always grateful for all inspirations.!
It’s darling! I wish you would move the Christmas stamps and dies to a month earlier! I make so many cards, I can’t wait to order the parts until Thanksgiving and get them made and out in time for Christmas… anything I like I couldn’t use until next year…
Hi Kerri! Our big holiday release always takes place in October. Our November release (like this one) usually focuses on some wrapping/tag ideas and products that have winter or year round applications. The products Wanda used on her adorable card today were from previous holiday releases. I hope that helps! 🙂
I love your candy pops snowglobe!! The Christmas time in the city cuts created the perfect scene in your globe and I love that the sentiments wrap around giving the perfect accent and highlight to your scene.
Looks to me like some SERIOUS Design Elements this release! I’m LOVING the earthy feeling that I’m getting with this sneak peak too, Betsy! Ok, I see some “boarder dies?” Don’t know what else to call them! LOVE those scalloped edges & stripped piece! WONDERFUL little tags that have sentiments stamped on them……;) LOVE how they look all connected! Pine & leaves, & itty-bitty flowers, a circle TAG base & a FLORAL circle hoop, & an OH SO PRETTY “To & From” piece! OH MY! OH MY! OH MY!!! :D<3

I have to agree with another person on this comment stream that using the candy pop products on a card is a great idea and not something that I had thought of. Glad you reminded me to get out this product and do some fun stuff this holiday with it.
Betsy, you have me so excited for this upcoming release, it looks fun.
