Happy Friday! Melissa is here with some bright and beautiful holiday inspiration to kick off your Friday!

Crafting for Christmas is my favorite thing to do! This time of year it’s always such fun to pull out all the stops when it comes to adding shimmer, sparkle, and shine. I’ve used the darling Jumbo Curiosity Bell Ornament Die on my card today.

This sweetly shaped ornament reminds me of helping my grandma decorate her Christmas tree when I was a kid. I’ve added silver glitter cardstock to help mimic the old fashioned feel of these ornaments. I layered them over a frosty A2 Arches cut from vellum and embossed around the edges with white embossing powder. I added glitter foam bows to the top of both ornaments, cut using the Christmas Pudding die. The darling Holly Toppers make the cutest embellishments for the tops of my ornaments and the little sprigs and berries (cut with the Winter Medley die) look extra festive covered in Stickles Crystal glitter. The background was done by layering the Twinkle die over the Postal Frames, and the sentiment is from the Arched Holiday Sentiments set.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

This is so lovely!
This is a beautiful card. That blue really provides a nice foil for the red/green.

This is stunning!
The bells remind me of my childhood also. Perfect colors and I love that lovely bow on the top. Nicely done!
BEAUTIFUL WORK, Melissa! LOVE EVERYTHING you’ve done with this card! But, when do I NOT love everything you’ve done with your cards??? LOL Quite vintage & quite beautiful!!!
The whole card is lovely, but my favorite feature has to be that gorgeous embossing on the edge of the vellum Arches diecut, which is the perfect backdrop to those festive bells. TFS
What a beautiful card. You have brought together so many wonderful elements to create a masterpiece!

Your card is absolutely fabulous. I still have a couple of those bell ornaments. Your choice of colors and design is over the top beautiful.
So cute! I love the vintage feel to this.
hey Mellissa! this is a gorgeous card! can you tell me a little bit about how you treated the red a blue paper you made the ornament from? looks like some smooshing and splatter? would love to know how you did that! 🙂
So so pretty. The Bell ornament is fabulous. I really love the Arches, glittery Winter Medley dies, cute Holly Toppers, Twinkle die and Postal Frames too! LOL
Christmas 1957. My Mom bought a box of 4 “Shiny Bright” bells that are still my favorite. Thank you so much, Melissa, for sharing this lovely card and happy memory!
