TGIF – Fresh & Summery Thinking of You with Laurie

Happy Inspiration Friday! Laurie is here with a bright and summery card in her clean and classic style!

Hi there friends!  It’s Laurie here, stopping in with this week’s TGIF.  The latest release from The Greetery has been so much fun to create with.  I love pulling the new products and finding a way to combine them with past favorites.  One of those is the stamp set called Container Garden.  I love how easy it is to create a gorgeous focal point with all those blooms.  

To create today’s card, I took a smaller rectangle of card stock and softly blended in some blue in for the sky and green along the bottom for grass. Using fun foam, I added this panel to my white card base, after stamping the sentiment, Thinking of You from Sentiment Suite: Thinking of You,  across the top.  I stamped up and die cut the main image from the Container Garden set and popped it up on foam squares to the side of the panel.  

To finish off the card, I grabbed the new Honey Bee Dies and added the black and yellow using Copic markers. Using vellum, I die cut the wings and then popped them up on the card front.  I just love all the details of The Greetery images to help us create fun and creative cards. 

It’s super hot in Kansas so I am enjoying lots of time in the AC, craftin away!  Hope you are staying cool and finding lots of time to create all the things!
