Happy TGIF! And it’s an especially good one since it’s a holiday weekend! I hope all of you here in the US have a safe and happy holiday! In case you’re planning to squeeze in some crafty time over the weekend, Dawn is here with some inspiration and a gorgeous card set!
Hi Friends! It’s my turn to share for TGIF at The Greetery, and today I’ve got a fun birthday card set to share with you, featuring the Print Shop: Daisy Days collection of printed paper templates, stencils, stamps, and dies!
My goal with this collection is to remind you that once you’ve stenciled and stamped your patterns on the pre-printed papers, you don’t have to keep them in tact and use the entire thing on your card front! It can maybe be hard to cut those, after going to the effort to add all the color and detail, but they can be used in SO many different ways BESIDES just as an over-all background on your card! I’ve got four different cards here, that all started out with the same exact piece of black daisy paper. I added all the stenciling and stamping assembly-line-style and then had fun using those panels in four different ways! I die cut some of them and simply trimmed up or cut apart some of them, giving me a totally different design for each card, and yet, they all coordinate with each other perfectly!
I also had some fun using an ombré effect on each of the sentiments! I used the All Kinds of Happy die and Shadow die, Scripty Hello, Sentiments Squared, and Simply Wonderful sets for the sentiments.
These types of card sets are fun to make because color coordinated sets are so pretty, plus they make really great gifts, and even if you’re keeping them to use yourself, they’re quicker to make because you can assembly-line the production a bit. No need to reinvent the wheel with your color palette, if you’ve got one you love!
I hope you’ll give a set like this a try! It’s also super fun to actually USE those printed papers!!”

Excellent job on the four coordinating cards!! They are beautiful and are very eye catching.
Gorgeous.
What a treat to see – I can’t wait for mine to come as copies of these may be the very first thing I try. The colors are gorgeous and I can never have enough to keep on hand. Thanks for your always beautiful inspiration.
They are gorgeous. I wish I had a little of your creativity.
Gorgeous cards! After watching, oh so many finished cards on the blog.the greetery.com I wonder why ur cards stand out so much…so the thinking cap goes on…and my question is: the finished cards are on black cardstock…is this the black cardstock ur shop sells? It seems different from the ‘ordinary’ black cardstock one buys any place handy. Do tell!
Hi Nancy, As Dawn mentioned in her post, she used the black papers from our Daisy Days Fill in the Blank papers. You can find them here: https://thegreetery.com/products/print-shop-daisy-days-fill-in-the-blank-paper We don’t sell plain black cardstock. I hope that helps! 🙂
BEAUTIFUL! Love your color combination! Thanks for sharing your wonderful creations!!

Dear Betsy, Dawn and Greetery staff –
You could not possibly know this, but my beautiful Maine Coon cat is named Daisy and I always call her “Daisy Daze” so the “Daisy Days” title caught my eye right away. However, I loved so many other items and had to make choices, so this set is on my wish list. Dawn, your cards are beyond gorgeous! This new release is your best — absolutely SMASHING! TFS –
