It’s TGIF time already! Where did the week go? The weeks seem to go extra, extra fast when there’s a holiday on Monday. Angelica is here today with a couple of gorgeous autumn projects…
Hi friends! This is Angelica, and I have two cards to share with you today. I picked autumn colors for my palette, and mixed a couple products together.

I love making my own backgrounds, and the single leaves from Autumn Sketches stamp set were perfect for this project. I started first with a sentiment. I chose the beautiful sentiment from All Blessing Flow stamp set. I stamped the sentiment in the middle of a panel, and used it as a guide on where to position my leaves. I used my MISTI so I could make a few panels.
I stamped the leaves with Distress Oxide inks, using finger daubers to add the ink. I used 4 different color combinations: Crushed Olive/Forest Moss, Scattered Straw/Fossilized Amber, Worn Lipstick/Aged Mahogany, and Wild Honey/Rusty Hinge. The outlines were stamped with Concord & 9th Wheat ink.
I blended ink around the edges, and splattered a bit of paint to finish the panels. Once dry, I die-cut them with Crimped Frame Die. I attached them to card bases with foam adhesive, then got the sentiments ready.
I white heat-embossed the sentiment onto an ink-blended panel for the yellow card. I used Aged Mahogany, Worn Lipstick, and Tattered Rose Distress Oxide inks for the background. The sentiments were die-cut with the coordinating die. I kept the pink card’s sentiment simple, stamping it with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink.
Thanks so much for joining me today. I hope I have helped you with ideas on mixing products together to use in new ways!

Gorgeous cards. I love that sentiment. Betsy, would you consider making that sentiment a stand alone stamp for a $5 set? It would be great to offer a series of Single sentiments/verses in that exact same font and style that we can use on cards.
This is so pretty! Nice feminine version with the pink, but can easily be made more masculine! I told myself this week – no more feminine cards until I make a dozen masculine ones! I always have plenty of feminine cards on hand, but forever running out of masculine cards!
Favorite sentiment by far!
Those floating leaves are gorgeous, and the sentiment is perfect. Changing up the colors totally changes the look, Angelica, and I really like these.
WOW! REally love what you did
Especially love the sentiment and those beautiful leaves. Hard to believe it is September already! Nicely done.
Love these cards, Angelica and LOVE that you always give us the details & colors that you use! Great job 🙂
Gorgeous like always! 💜
So beautiful! Thank you for sharing this inspiring card.
I love the FALLing leaves on both of your beautiful cards, Angelica! The blended ink on the edges and color schemes create a totally different look.
Angelica, your cards turned out so pretty and I can just imagine your how nice they’d look as a home decor. I appreciate you sharing your colors Very much! I seem to have trouble achieving a smooth image using oxides, do you have any suggestions? I wanted to add that I love your wheat colored outlines, they really pull it all together. Thank you for sharing, even though it’s Saturday. I seem to loose track of days, these days. 😁💖
