Hello and welcome to the final day of product reveals and projects for our latest collection…
Our new Gathered Blessings collection will go up in the shop tomorrow – Friday, August 28 at 10am EDT
**Please Note: shipping delay for the new release items
To keep you as informed as possible before ordering starts tomorrow, we wanted to let you know about the shipping time frame for the new release items. Everything will go up in the shop tomorrow morning at 10 am EDT as scheduled, but unfortunately the majority of our dies have been delayed. We were holding out hope that they would arrive in time so we could get your orders out in our usual speedy fashion, but we have been informed that they are running a bit late. We will be shipping orders as quickly as we can as the dies arrive. Please allow an estimated 7-10 days for your order to ship if it contains newly released dies as we await their arrival and then work through the orders.
Yes, 2020 continues and we’re learning to just do our best and try to roll with it… 😊 Thank you so much for your patience with us! We appreciate all of you so much!
Before we get to today’s product introductions, one more bit of news – Laurie will be hosting an Instagram Live presentation of all of the new products on Thursday morning, August 27 (that’s TODAY!) at 11:00am CDT, so tune in if you’d like to check it out!

My first few cards use the new BotaniCuts dies. I just love these…they are some of my favorites ever! For this first card, I cut two sets of the BotaniCuts Mighty Oak. I watercolored all of the leaves with bright, vibrant colors, and the acorns in shades of brown.
I assembled both branches as they were designed, and layered them together over a panel of watercolor paper cut with the Nordic Frames die. I added some loose blue watercolor to that panel as well, to create some “sky” for my branches. I finished off the design with a sentiment from the Blessed Blooms set.
For this next card, I colored a bunch of the cute mushrooms from the BotaniCuts Toadstool Garden set and paired them with a Halfsies Oval Shiplap background! To color the mushrooms, I started by cutting them from white cardstock, then sponged them with oxide inks, and added shading and details with colored pencils.
To create the shiplap frame, I covered a panel of lightweight cardstock with Shiplap Builder planks. My panel was slightly larger than an A2 card so that I would be sure to have enough space to cut two Halfsies Oval dies. I cut two of the planked halfsies and layered them over a panel of watercolor paper which I prepped with some loose blue watercoloring. I clustered those cute mushrooms as well as leaves and acorns from the BotaniCuts Mighty Oak set. For the sentiment, I pulled out my Birthday Blooms set for the “happy” and paired it with the “autumn” from the Blessed Blooms set…those mushrooms just looked happy to me, and thought they needed a “happy” sentiment!
My next card uses all of the cut floral and leaf elements from the new Blessed Blooms set. The little elements from Birthday Blooms are definitely some of my favorites, and I’m excited to have even more variety of that same look with the new Blessed Blooms set.
I stamped these in shades of pink and orange, using Victorian Velvet, Rusty Hinge, and Aged Mahogany inks. I also clustered in a few of the acorns from the BotaniCuts Mighty Oak set….those little guys might be my favorite! Behind my floral cluster are a few Shiplap Builder planks and a background done with the Square Dance die and stencils in matching shades.
My next card again sneaks in a few of these same new BotaniCuts elements, but this time I also pulled in the new branches from the Mimosa Musings set. This set is so fun to stamp – those little “puff ball” blooms are so fun! I added a little depth of color to the centers of the blooms with some colored pencils for even more pop.
I stamped the Mimosa blooms in shades of pink (more Victorian Velvet + Aged Mahogany) and yellow (Wild Honey with a bit of Crushed Olive for a little more greenish zing + Rusty Hinge). Behind those pretty blooms and ‘shrooms is a rustic “door” I created with four vertical Shiplap Builder planks finished off with a horizontal plank at both the top and bottom. The sentiment is once again from the new Blessed Blooms set (can’t get enough! 😊)
My last card uses the new Mimosa Musings set paired with the new Square Dance die and stencil. I didn’t really intend this when I started, but it almost ended up looking like the flowers are coming from a woven basket…that idea is totally making me want to go create a card with a more intentional take on that idea! (I’m putting that down on the to-do list!) Can you imagine it overflowing with a whole bunch of our autumn goodies?
But anyway, back to this card…the Mimosa blooms were stamped in shades of blue – Speckled Egg and Blueprint Sketch. I again added some deeper color to the centers with colored pencils. I added some Shiplap Builder planks to the top of that Square Dance panel to give it a nice finished edge. Tucked in the “basket” are the mimosa blooms and a Postal Frames diecut, stamped with the “I’ve been thinking…” sentiment from the Mimosa Musings set. I also finished off the inside with the rest of the sentiment to say “about you”, along with a couple of the smallest mimosa clusters.
That wraps up my projects, but there is so much more to see from the team, plus a chance to win!
Now that you’ve gotten to meet all of today’s new products and see them in action, you can “greet” them for a chance to win a $50 gift card. We will be giving away one $50 gift card for today’s blog hop!

Well, I do like mushrooms in real life, sometimes I see ones in nature that are stunning! But I must admit the paper ones are so cute on cards. I love the BotaniCuts, especially the Oak.

I’ll eat mushrooms as long as they’re in a dish but not by themselves. I consider them to be ok, but these paper ones are absolutely adorable!
I don’t like mushrooms, however, these paper mushrooms are just so darn cute!

These make me more excited for fall!
I do love the taste of mushrooms and use them in almost all of my cooking and they’re a perfect canvas for a tasty curry dip that disappears at every party. Your pretty mushrooms remind me of walks in the woods of Wisconsin. All of your designers made wonderful inspiration projects. Can’t wait to get my hands on these new treasures to create my own.
Omgosh what a fabulous release. Can’t wait to dig in and create some magic with all these goodies!! ❌⭕️🍒
Btw I looove 🍄 both real and paper and these are no exception.
I love the pretty color of your paper mushrooms.
I am totally with you on the mushroom thing. I do NOT eat mushrooms. I will pick them out of dishes and off of pizza. I like to find them out in the wild – the pretty ones that are red or orange and make good pictures. I also like the cute paper ones. Thanks for all the inspiration today. I am crazy for it all! 😀
As always, everything is GORGEOUS!
I do not like mushrooms in real life. The taste doesn’t bother me, but the squeak between my teeth does! lol!
Your paper toadstools are the cutest I’ve ever seen!
Love mushrooms of all types.
I cant wait for all the new autumn goodies ….i am in love with the mushroom caps!!!
I really do like cooked mushrooms and I also really love your colored mushrooms in all of your projects. Awesome release!
I love ALL mushrooms- edible and cute paper ones!
I am smitten!
I can’t stop thinking about the MUSHROOMS!! Just gorgeous!!!!!!
I love mushrooms! I wish I could eat them everyday! I love your mushroom dies – they are wonderful and so detailed! My step-aunt is an artist and started out at craft shows hand sculpting realistic mushrooms in clay. (Now she does endangered animals that you would think are real!) My twin sister also sculpted mushrooms in clay and they are beautiful. What could be better than paper mushrooms? I will definitely be collecting those mushrooms and putting them in my cart!
This is another fabulous release!
I agree – no real life mushrooms, but these are adorable!
These dies are truly marvelous, love the look you get with them.
Everything today is just wonderful! My list is getting quite long! Cheers.
Looking forward to this release!
Love the paper ones but no thank you to the real ones. So inspired to begin fall paper crafting!
I NEED to know how you achieved the gorgeous colors on the shiplap door of your Autumn Blessings card! They look so authentic! Absolutely stunning.
