I had SO much fun creating with these new sets. I love all map-related things so I couldn’t wait to dig in and get started with these! My first card is exactly what I had envisioned creating with these products…don’t you love when that happens?
I used the Rectangle Map die here and turned it at an angle to cut just a portion of it from the upper right corner of a panel of watercolor paper. Once that was cut, I watercolored the panel with shades of blue, and also incorporated some tan along the “coastline”/edge of the map to look like sand. I watercolored a second panel with shades of green to put underneath for the “land” portion of the map. Then I filled my map with all sorts of the little icons from the Destination: Summer set. So fun to do!
My next card is another summery take on the map theme. This time I used the Waterfront Map die.
I placed a couple of sailboats in the water section of the die, and filled in the other areas with icons from both the Destination and Destination: Summer sets. The Destination set is filled with more basic and geographical icons that can work alone or be combined with the Summer set. For the sentiment, I diecut the smaller frame from the Postal Frames die and placed it at an angle in the corner, trimming off the excess.
For my next two projects, I wanted to keep them a little simpler and more masculine. For this one I used the Destination Map Stencils to create the background.
I used the rectangle map from the set, turning it at different angles to completely fill my background with stenciled maps. I sponged over the stencil with several shades of green Oxide inks. Then I stamped the trees and mountains from the Destination set using a dark grey ink. I also added a couple of river diecuts, cut using the Destination die set. For the focal point I pulled out the Nordic Frames dies and used the smallest frame from the set. I stamped more trees and mountains, and also included the heart and sentiment from the Destination set.
My last card is also quite simple to create. I started by cutting the Round Map die from a panel of white cardstock.
I layered this diecut panel over my card base, and used a pencil to lightly mark the position of the map. I then used these pencil lines as guides for adding some ink blending and also stamped trees, mountains, and the lake and river. Once I had the under-panel looking like I wanted, I adhered the diecut map panel over the top and added the heart and miss you sentiment, both from the Destination set.
I had so much fun creating these projects! I hope you enjoyed checking them out as much as I enjoyed creating them!

I can only but dream of going anywhere where the weather is warm and sunny during this lockdown.
Love the newest products today. No travel plans for me this summer. My cards will have to do the traveling for me.
I love to travel … though plans are on hold at the moment. Still, I can travel in my imagination … and that takes me everywhere! Such fun new goodies and inspiration … so many possibilities to personalise projects with all the individual elements! Anita 🙂
Even though we can’t go anywhere this summer, we can still craft about traveling!
Your ideas are so fresh and unique unlike anyone else’s. Bravo, Greetery!!
Your stamps, dies, and stencils have to be some of the most creative out there! This new release proves it. So much fun and lots of versatility! Makes me want to take a road trip!
Just traveling to my backyard and garden this year. I have really enjoyed observing the birds and wildlife that comes to visit the birdbath and fountain, and now I have a little family nesting in one of the birdhouses. Lots to be grateful for.
Oh how cute are the camper, bicycle and sail boats and lovely background scenery. I love the Map dies. These travel designs for a greeting card are pure genius, Betsy!
Sadly, my “usual” travel plans are on hold this year, like everyone in the world! But next year I hope to resume my Summer trip to New England to visit family and friends.
We hope to travel from Lexington to Indianapolis tomorrow evening to see the kids and grandkids! Covid has cancelled the last two planned visits, so really hoping to see them this weekend. Also hoping to visit Michigan in late August for a wedding. We will see….! Love all the new things too!
Had hoped to head to Michigan to see my sisters, but not so sure now.
Cute, cute cards!
If only traveling was possible. As a senior, I will be staying home and enjoying my backyard. Making cards brings me joy so this release about summer and travel will be perfect.
Oh my gosh!!! Love all the littles!!! This is genius!!! ❤️
I love this release. You continue to knock it out of the park.
These products are so cool! I love seeing the different ways the design team used them, so many options! Now how to tell my husband I NEED more stamps!! My summer is in my backyard by the pool, love it!
No plans to travel this summer just because we already have a vacation planned after Christmas to Disneyland. Keeping our fingers crossed that we’ll still be able to make that happen at the end of the year!
Our summer plans were cancelled in March… looks like we will not be able to do our trip to Florida in November either. Scary times and so many states are seeing huge spikes again! Thank you so much Betsy, you make these times so much more bearable… love the destination products, so fun. My list is growing and I still need to check out everyone’s designs. Thank you again for your great products!
These maps and fun stamps are just SO CREATIVE! Love the samples shown here!
Amazing. Totally creative. I wish I was THERE!
This is the closest I will get to traveling this year
How do you do it??? This is so clever, so fun, and so needed! Summer is looking a lot better…

Nice preview of a few projects. I like the look of the trails. No travel plans. Just thinking on going to local sites.

Nice card samples.
Love these fun and innovative designs! The cards are wonderful and make me feel like I am on a vacation!
No travel plans for me this summer.
Not planning on travelling anytime soon but that new collection is just adorable!
Such a unique and clever idea! I love maps so this collection is perfect!
Love the maps. Was going to travel, but everything got cancelled. So just working on my house instead.
I already took a road trip from Tulsa to Red River New Mexico. SO COOL in the mountains compared with HOT Oklahoma. Beautiful mountains covered with pine trees and aspens. Your road trip stamps are inspiring!
Those little cars & campers are so cute! Lots of great possibilities with these :o)
Cute ideas! Reminds me of family vacations we had over the years!
So unique and fun!!! Love this!!!
So sweet, Betsy! The Destination: Summer products will make the perfect cards to send hugs to family and friends at a distance while we cannot be together. I love to travel, but we have postponed our little getaway to charming Galena, Illinois for a while. I have been visiting with my parents very often… and feel so blessed to have them nearby!💗
The new products today and fun and unique! I love to travel and I was supposed to take a trip to England this summer, but it got cancelled because of the virus, so I’m just staying home.
Still hoping for a beach vacay! These products are my all-time favorites —love maps and love to travel!
I plan to travel from my home office/craft room to my living room to the kitchen and then my bedroom. Repeat every day until it’s cool enough to add the backyard to my itinerary. LOL. I am blessed to have a craft room to putter in since we can’t go anywhere…
Sadly, our summer plans are on hold but there is always next year to look forward to.
Escaping in a good book is my only summer traveling this year. Looking forward to planning trips before too long.
Maybe I’ll travel to my backyard. HA!!! What a fun set, I’m guessing there will be more add on sets.
oh my, really, what à great great release. All wonderfull products . Bad for the wallet, but so good for the soul.
My husband and I had a trip planned to Italy in may, but that was cancelled . So now we are traveling around in our own country. The Netherlands. Which is beautifull.
