I had SO much fun creating with these new sets. I love all map-related things so I couldn’t wait to dig in and get started with these! My first card is exactly what I had envisioned creating with these products…don’t you love when that happens?
I used the Rectangle Map die here and turned it at an angle to cut just a portion of it from the upper right corner of a panel of watercolor paper. Once that was cut, I watercolored the panel with shades of blue, and also incorporated some tan along the “coastline”/edge of the map to look like sand. I watercolored a second panel with shades of green to put underneath for the “land” portion of the map. Then I filled my map with all sorts of the little icons from the Destination: Summer set. So fun to do!
My next card is another summery take on the map theme. This time I used the Waterfront Map die.
I placed a couple of sailboats in the water section of the die, and filled in the other areas with icons from both the Destination and Destination: Summer sets. The Destination set is filled with more basic and geographical icons that can work alone or be combined with the Summer set. For the sentiment, I diecut the smaller frame from the Postal Frames die and placed it at an angle in the corner, trimming off the excess.
For my next two projects, I wanted to keep them a little simpler and more masculine. For this one I used the Destination Map Stencils to create the background.
I used the rectangle map from the set, turning it at different angles to completely fill my background with stenciled maps. I sponged over the stencil with several shades of green Oxide inks. Then I stamped the trees and mountains from the Destination set using a dark grey ink. I also added a couple of river diecuts, cut using the Destination die set. For the focal point I pulled out the Nordic Frames dies and used the smallest frame from the set. I stamped more trees and mountains, and also included the heart and sentiment from the Destination set.
My last card is also quite simple to create. I started by cutting the Round Map die from a panel of white cardstock.
I layered this diecut panel over my card base, and used a pencil to lightly mark the position of the map. I then used these pencil lines as guides for adding some ink blending and also stamped trees, mountains, and the lake and river. Once I had the under-panel looking like I wanted, I adhered the diecut map panel over the top and added the heart and miss you sentiment, both from the Destination set.
I had so much fun creating these projects! I hope you enjoyed checking them out as much as I enjoyed creating them!

What a unique idea for cards! It’s fun to see the map and all the do dads to go with it!
Sadly, no, we are home bound this summer. But I have your wonderful new products to look forward to–thank you for bringing me joy.
This destination card die is brilliant! I love the possibilities, and all the color makes me happy.
Betsy, you wow me with your creativity! So many fun ways to “vacation “. We’ll be staying home this year.
What fun, unique products! They make me want to go somewhere!
Love it all! Of course I cannot eliminate anything from my wish list! And yes, I’m vacationing at the beach now, where we met the grandkids for a few days!
I am not planning to travel this summer, so these sets will help me have some travel fun at home. 😊
I’m crazy about the destination stamps and dies. I think these may be some of my very favorites of all time. Can’t wait to use them.
What a cute idea! Unfortunately with corona virus still going around we do not have a vacation planned this summer 😞.
Can’t wait to see the rest of the release! ❤️
Oh my goodness, these are absolutely adorable! <3
No plans for travel this year.
One of a kind card making with these new supplies. Well done you! Cheers.
Oh! I love, love, love these! It will be like taking my own little trip someplace fun when I make cards with them!
Not a lot of travel planned for this summer, but these stamps and dies sure make me miss traveling!
I love the destination series! If we can’t actually travel these fun stamps will remind me of previous fun. We are considering a couple of short road trips this summer and are looking forward to the day when we can pack our bags for longer!
We’re having a staycation with the grandkids and hope to do some creating with your beautiful Greetery products!
Not sure if I’ll be able to travel this summer. The waterfront map will remind me of one of my favorite places to visit in Nova Scotia.
Very clever. Love the map dies!
I’ve just come back from a road trip to the Midwest where I was able to see my grandchildren and all sorts of beautiful sites along the way. This entire set is so perfect to archive that wonderful adventure. ♥
Love the map idea! Something different and unique! I am sure there will be other additions in the future for other seasons.
What a creative idea! Love the cards with the maps. I had a trip planned to Europe last month; Spain, Italy and Germany. But it was canceled, so no other trips have been planned at this time.
So cute! We are planning a quick trip up north next month…Mackinac Island, Traverse City, and a few of our favorite towns.
This is so original and fun!
Well, aren’t these the cutest sets EVER! I have never seen a product design like this, and of course, it’s special, clever, and unique just like I would expect from Betsy and The Greetery! Love these projects, love it all!
Using the Destination maps would journaling our trips (even imaginary) a lot more fun! So many cute icons and sentiments too!
So fun and cute.
No plans to travel this summer due to Covid. But I can use these for past travel in my journal or scrapbook. And I love the stencils.
Sadly, no summer vacation plans here. There’s plenty to do around the house. And I live across the street from a park so we can always commune with nature.
You have created such colorful maps! Maps have always fascinated me. My sons and grandsons also love maps. As a child I went on many road trips with my family. Not so much now. We’re staying home this summer.
We will be homebodies this Summer, but oh the places we’ll go in my mind and in the stamping room! Fun, FUN stamps and dies today Betsy…love them!! :0)
…road trips…that was my family; hop in the station wagon and ride! Love it!
Love this new release. All the little elements that go with the maps are just so cute! We are hoping to travel to SC. We had a new grandson born a few months ago and haven’t been able to meet him yet!
These maps and icons are so cute and have endless possiblities!
Hoping to travel to Colorado to visit my parents who spend the summer there!
You always have such creative and fun products! I do not plan on travelling anywhere this summer, just hanging around home.
What cute ideas for traveling (wish I was) cards. We can live vicariously through our stamps!!!!
OMG, this is awesome for those people who love to travel!
Road trips are I’m sure on everyone else’s summer bucket lists as well. These stamps are perfect for that laid back summer.
I LOVE the new Destination themed sets but especially the Summer one. We were all set to visit Cape Cod this week but my DH had to have emergency gallbladder surgery on Sunday so he’s recuperating. I’m going to make a get-well-soon card as a reminder that we can look forward to going next month. Love all the cards you showed 😍
No traveling for me this year but that mean more time to create! Love this new set!!!
No travel plans for this summer. Mostly staying at home. But I must say that Destination: Summer stamps and dies are very unique. Have not seen anything like it. Way to go, Betsy!
You are a genius designing your products Betsy!
All of our travel plans were cancelled, now waiting out at home, so will dream of travels to come!! Such cute details Betsy!
The one you dreamed up with the perfect little postage stamp in the bottom left corner!! Really looks like one of those cute postcards, it turned out so gorgeous! <3
I love this! I’m a sucker for tiny images on tags & I don’t have anything like this yet!
This is such a cool collection! We aren’t traveling at all for the foreseeable future.
This is the most unique thing I’ve ever seen in the industry and there are so many possibilities with it. Thank you Betsy for such wonderful products! Love the cards.
No travel plans.
Love love this release we have been taking small road trips. And loving it. Got to see 2 light houses in my state that I have never seen before….
What fun travel themed products!
No big travel plans here- just a few local visits to some of my province’s lakes.
When I saw the peeks this was the day I was really looking forward to. I just love every single product on today’s post! This summer we are canceling our annual Canada trip but hoping we can do some day trips here in our state.
Planning on staying around home this summer. Some small trips to visit family that live within 4 hours.
No travel plans for us this summer, though your cute destination stamps and dies can help us dream.
