We have so much news today! It’s been a bit quiet on the blog, but we’ve been busy, busy!
First of all, we just did a huge restock in the shop! Almost everything that was out of stock is back, with the exception of a few dies that just went out of stock in the past few days. Those are on the way and will be added back to the shop next week. Most stamps, dies, and all sizes of the clear bubbles are back! If there’s something you’re wondering about specifically, you’re always welcome to email customer service.
Next, we have some exciting news.
Save the Date for a November mini release! We’ll be having two days of sneak peeks, followed by two days of product reveals before these new wintery products go up in the shop on Friday, November 22!
Lastly, I mentioned last week that I was going to have some time to work on a few videos. I actually have three videos to share with you today! They are all somewhat related, but also sort of deal with separate topics, so I broke it down into three separate videos.
First of all, I get a lot of questions about how I set up my MISTI. I put together a video where I explain my process and how I’ve made some adaptions to my MISTI to make it work for me. I don’t show an actual product in this video, just lots of talky-talk! 🙂
In the video above, I have my MISTI all set up with the birds from the Robin & Wren set because I was busy stamping more of these cuties to use on some projects. A request for a video showing how to stamp these birds has also been at the top of the request list since they were released last summer. I finally got around to putting that together for you! I talk a bit about the set and how it layers, and we’ll also stamp a few of the birds while I share some inking tips for layered images.
And finally, we’ll put those birds to use on a project! I know these birds aren’t around in the winter, but in the stamping world we can do what we want, right? 🙂 I put a couple of these wrens to use on a holiday card. In this video I’ll focus on the background and show you how I combined our Frosty Flakes stencil with an easy watercolor technique.
The card shown in the video also uses the Blooming Branch set. I tucked in a few pine sprigs from the With Love at Christmas set to give the branch a more wintery feel. The sentiment is from the Tree Trimmings set.
I hope you enjoyed today’s post! Thanks for stopping by and sharing in all of today’s news!
