It’s been a bit quiet around here, so I wanted to pop in with a card today and a few updates!
The reason it’s been quiet here is because we have been busy, busy little elves…working our elf fingers to the bone! 🙂 Many of you have asked about a Christmas release and YES! How could we not do Christmas…it’s my favorite season to craft. Our next release is happening a bit quicker than our normal every-other-month schedule, so we’re working extra hard to get everything ready! We will start sneak peeks of our holiday collection on September 25th, with product reveals and projects starting on Monday, September 30, and the collection will go up in the shop on Friday, October 4.
Now for an update on out of stock items. I get lots of questions as to whether “sold out” items will be restocked. The answer is YES! We don’t intend to do any limited edition items here at The Greetery at this time, so anything that’s out of stock will be restocked, it just takes a bit of time to get things back in from our manufacturers. You are welcome to email customer service if you’re wondering when a particular item is due back.
We just got a die shipment in, which will go up in the shop in the next day or two – this will be for all stand-alone dies currently out of stock. All out of stock stamps are due back in the last week of September. We will try our best to get them back in the shop as soon as possible after they arrive! In an effort to make your shopping easier, if there is a die that is out of stock that matches a stamp set that is also out of stock, the dies and stamps will both be restocked at the same time.
Before I get back to work (I’m busy busy stamping with all of the new holiday goodies!) I have a card to share with you. I had lots of bits and pieces and stamped diecuts left over from creating for our autumn release, and I couldn’t resist putting a card together while I was cleaning off my desk. This card uses a color-blocked look using the Halfsies Diamond die. The jumbo leaf die from the Harvest Home set fits just perfectly inside the diamond cut out. I sponged one Halfsies die with shades of orange ink, and the other with shades of green, and also stamped the outline branch from the Autumn Sketches set. That leaf diecut is also the perfect place to nest the robin from Robin & Wren. I also tucked a berry sprig from the Budding Beauties Autumn set, and stamped one of the small sentiments from the Sentiment Suite: Thank You set.
Thanks for stopping by today!

Oh my. How exciting I cant wait to see the new release. I am ready. There is still some things I am waiting to get from the last release but it will have to wait. I am with you I love to make Christmas card . I just need to apply myself. And get it done. Lol your card is stunning. I am trying to figure out that bird still have to work to make it look right. Just having a hard time lining it up.
So happy that all is well with you. The thought of Greetery’s first Christmas release is so exciting. Your card is gorgeous. I love that you are always providing new ideas for combining your products. Any chance that the jumbo leaf die from Harvest Home might be released as a separate stand alone die? Just a thought!!
Lovely card! Best of all, YOU HEAR US!!! Thanks you for the update on SOLD OUT items, and your intention of putting dies and stamps back in stock together!!! Wonderful news! Now if those little elves could just manufacture our goodies quicker, well, wishful thinking. It gives us time to replenish our funds for our next shopping spree! Your creativity in bringing us such beautiful stamps and dies just boggles my mind!!!
I’d love this too! 🙂
This is a gorgeous card, Betsy!!
Glad you clarified a Christmas release. I have been wondering about this! Love today’s card! I like the Harvest Home Stamp set. I don’t do much fall card stamping … do you see it as a all season set? I think it would be great for masculine cards. Still mulling it over and awaiting your Christmas release.
I think it could work for many seasons! I think the leaf is very universal and great for masculine cards, like you mentioned. You might have other things from your collection that could be tucked in the leaf for different scenes?
Beautiful ink blending Betsy! Was able to play with my cotton set and the guide was so helpful!
My pad just doesn’t hold the images long enough to play along with my stamps, so still wishing I had a guide companion for each of the previous releases, and I would be willing to order and pay for them!?! Anyway your designs make creating so much fun with realistic results! You have an amazing gift Betsy!
Jan – there are guides for many of our first sets, which can be found among the images on the product page in the store. You can always print them and tuck them in with your sets. If there is a guide you’re wanting and not finding, let me know!
I do love that you keep going back and showing cards that use previous releases. I buy only what I love and hope to use over and over. With the new being mixed into the old, it gives me untold options using products I already love. Thank you for helping me build a really adaptable base of supplies. Designer inspiration always sets my wheels turning but then I start driving and go down another road – which is so fun and why I love seeing great designers ideas. Also, thanks for the info on your plans to keep old stuff always available. I can’t buy everything new so it gives me assurance that things will be available later AND having your cool cards (like this one today) keep me coming back for more.
Hi Mary! Just to clarify – we won’t keep things around forever. Sets will retire eventually, but they’re not limited edition in the respect that once they’re sold out they’re gone for ever. I hope that clarifies a bit. We will need to retire things as we move forward to keep a handle on inventory! 🙂
Beautiful fall card!
I’m looking forward to seeing the Christmas release. Woohoo!
Doing a Happy Dance because you’re doing a Christmas release early !!! Can’t wait to see what wonderful things will be coming. Your card today with the Harvest Home Leaf and the Robin is just stunning! Love all the fall colors.

Love the ink blending and the background stamping. Can’t wait for the Christmas release.
I’m so glad you will replenish stamps and dies together. That was one of my pet peeves with another company, and I finally just gave up on them. Keep up the good work and thanks for keeping us informed. I appreciate that very much.
Oh your card is just gorgeous, getting so excited about the stock coming back in and what great ideas you have for Christmas!
Your products do fit so well together as Kathy mentioned, and your creations are stunning. I’m loving every card you make and I’m grateful you went out on your own.

Beautiful card you made with the leftovers and I am looking forward to seeing what the new release will have to intrigue and enable me.
Very pretty! I purchased this die and I love to see creative ways to use it. Thanks for the update on the backordered stamps – and a BIG THANK YOU that you will put the dies/stamps out at the same time so we can complete the set we wish to purchase.
I knew you would come out with your Christmas goodies before too long! I’m so excited to see what wonderful creations you come up with!
Wow!! The colors are gorgeous, like fall is around here doin. I can’t get enough of those birds! Excited about the next release!!
What a BEAUTIFUL card!! I just Loved your August release! I’ll probably lay low during your next release. I truly believe the real reason for the season, but I don’t do anything special on Christmas. No cards, no decorating, etc.But I’ll be here and seeing what you have for show/sale! Thanks for your Awesomeness!
Looking forward to your Christmas release!
Love the vibrant colours in today’s card! So excited to see what you have planned for Christmas :o)
Yay!
OH. MY. GOD. Can’t wait. Don’t know if my budget will be able to take it, I have to say. I’m so hoping for Christmas sentiments that fit into the dies. Ya know and ALLLLLLLLLLL of the other gorgeous stuff that you’ll have for us.
Hi Betsy! I guessed between the Fall shipments and Christmas soon upon us, that you were working your fingers to the bone. I guessed right?! I’ve been having so much fun with my Robins & Wrens and realized that I didn’t need to use every stamp image to make my Robins. Oh the bottles! I LOVE them & stamped them in a large (mega) array of colors for future cards. I even bought new ink colors! Thank you dear Betsy for bringing us The Greetery. My love for stamping has gone through the roof! Oh and btw, the Cozy Cup will make some perfect masculine cards. Now, the only thing I’ve yet to figure is how to store my stamps. I’m going to need a new system. I look forward to your Christmas release and your blocking made a gorgeous card. Thank you for everything!
Thank you so much for your update! Your beautiful card pays homage to my favorite season. So excited to see the surprises you have waiting for us!
Yes!!!!!!! I kept checking to see if there were any hints of Christmas. Always look forward to your holiday designs with great anticipation. I own a few. I am so excited that I almost forgot to tell you how lovely your card is. It’s a pleasant reminder to a Floridian, of the beautiful colors that showcase in other parts of the country during hurricane season. 😉 Thanks for the stunning inspiration.
Exciting update! I was looking forward to your Christmas creativity!
I really look forward to your Christmas release and I appreciate the feedback on OOS items. I (im)patiently await your Christmas release.
Gorgeous Fall card! I am so looking forward to your Holiday release!
