Welcome back to the second part of the two-part video series on creating the background for this sweet card using the little girl and dog from the Hand in Hand set.
Like I mentioned in yesterday’s post and video, today we’ll be painting the rest of the background elements. This is the fun part for sure! It’s fun to create scenes for all of the images we painted in the week-long Hand in Hand series. Here is today’s video…
I hope to create at least one more video with a rainy theme that includes a reflection. I’ve had a few requests for that, so I will try to put that together soon, but it will have to wait just a bit. Starting tomorrow we’ll be sharing sneak peeks of the June collection, and then we’ll be counting down to release day! So we’ll try to revisit that after the June release!

Your watercolor background is just wonderful, Betsy! It’s so helpful to watch you create the stone path, the field of daisies, the blue sky, and the tree branches step-by-step. I’m looking forward to your rainy day reflections video, too. Heartfelt thanks for so much inspiration!! 💗
WONDERFULLY DONE, Betsy! The colors fading away from the focal image is WONDERFUL! It just draws your eye in & gives a dreamy feel! Question: What do you use to label your finger daubers with? I’ve tried stickers, but they just peel off.:( ANOTHER SUPER VIDEO!!!!!!!!!! ;)<3
These videos have helped me so much! Thank you for taking the time to help us! 👍🏻❣️
Thank you so much for your watercolor series, it’s been great! Appreciate you sharing tips, and techniques you’ve learned. I now have my tree stencils from your shop and can’t wait to try it with a water colored blue sky, and some flowers.
That was fun to watch it all come together. Now my fingers are itching to try it! Beautiful, Betsy! It’s such a serene scene.
Hi Betsy ! A million thanks for sharing your videos. It’s difficult to match my heartfelt appreciation in words so I thank you, a million times . 🙂 Because of you, I’ve become more of a scene builder. And!! I have learned SO MUCH ! Have I told you how BEAUTIFUL YOUR BLOG IS !? I love everything about The Greetery! 😍
Your watercolor series has been wonderful, and yes, a video with a reflection would be very interesting. I’m looking forward to the June release, and the first two sneak peek days look great!
