Today’s sneak peek is all about dies! Don’t have a green thumb? No problem! Grow some beautiful paper gardens with the BotaniCuts Succulents and Terrarium dies. I can’t wait to show you the unique (and easy!) way that these Succulent dies layer to create something that looks fabulously real. I’ll be showing you different ways to color them too, ranging from simple sponging to more detailed watercoloring.
The Terrarium dies are going to be great go-to basics for focal points, shaped cards, and more – just wait till you see what we’ve created with these!
The Succulents have a very layered look…can you guess how many pieces are layered to form each flower? (Hint: it’s probably not as many as you think! 🙂 )

I’ve resisted succulent stamp sets up until this point but these look absolutely amazing! Loved every sneak peek so far!
Oooooohhhh! Excited about this!!!! Love the watercolor! My son and his wife just used succulents all through their wedding and it was gorgeous. Thinking I might ‘need’ these for scrapbook pages. 😉
I loved day 1. Day 2 sealed the deal… Each sneak peek gets better and better…if that is even possible! Love what I am seeing, Betsy. So much so I put in for a vacation day for the 26th by sneak peak two just so I could get online and place my order asap!!
LOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE it!!
I’ve been waiting for the perfect succulent and here it is! I guess 2 layers? !
BEAUTIFUL WORK,Betsy!!! I would say TWO LAYERS, & you’ve added few little pieces tucked in! ;)CAN’T WAIT TO SEE the FULL RELEASE! 😉
Oh my gosh! Dies too? These are awesome! TFS!!! Can’t wait for full reveal day!
Oh wow, these are soo cool, Betsy! I love the watercoloring, so beautiful and realistic!
What draws me to succulents is the enormous amount of repeated petals, plump and pretty and all piled together into an interesting shape. These sneak peak dies capture that feeling so well and I’m so curious about how the dies work. Can’t wait to see these up close. You have been one busy lady!
Awesome succulent dies — each day has been amazing!! (I’m guessing three layers)
Hi Betsy ! I’m so excited to see your succulents and terrarium in full view. Along with you showing & sharing with us, different coloring techniques. These are BEAUTIFUL and I can’t wait for more! My guess is that there are 5 layered pieces to make a full succulent, but the way you designed it, it looks like many more!
I love this succulent and terrarium post. I do have s black thumb so this is great for me!
I can’t wait! These sneaks are killing me and I can’t wait to start ordering!
Lovely, just lovely! I can’t wait to get these…so fresh, clean and modern.
Wow!! All these beautiful choices ! I’m in trouble now and haven’t even seen the full review!!
My goodness these are so beautiful, I am loving the layers! Since you said not as many layers as we think I’m guessing maybe 3 layers . Love this stamp and die, or did you watercolor it! Gorgeous and like everyone else I cant wait!
I’m so excited about today’s sneak peeks. I’ve been making a lot of felt flowers and succulents lately, so i hope i can use the dies to make 3-D succulents.
It just keeps getting better and better. I’m excited to see what your team makes.
I don’t think succulents have ever been so beautiful!
Looks like about 3-4 layers to me.
The 26th is marked and ready…. It’s going to be great!
Those look very pretty Betsy. I am getting more and more excited for your release/
These just look fabulous -definitely intrigued to see more.
Incredible! I love your colors amidst the layers.💖
I have no idea. I’m thinking each die cut is a couple of the leaves so maybe 5?
These are gorgeous! I can’t imagine how many layers must be included. Over the moon with excitement to know that you will be providing tutorials on coloring the images!
Very much in love 😍 with this one
I’m getting more excited by the day for your 1st release!!
OMG! i LOVE terrariums! I can’t wait to see the whole set and what you can do with them!
These look wonderful! I’m guessing maybe 4 layers of dies, such a great way to design them to tuck in to each larger layer.
Wow… these are gorgeous! My guess is 3!
Betsy, I signed up for newsletter to get advance notice of posts but have not received any. I tried signing up again but it says I am already registered, How do I get in touch with you to send my email to check on this? Thanks so much. Love all the sneak peaks and don’t want to miss anything.
Everything you’ve been showing has been ever so gorgeous! Creative and unique and very you. I’m thinking that there are 2 (or mauybe 3) layers to these dies. I can see some embossing on them that mimics leaves and maybe that’s what is making them look like more layers?
STOP TORTURING US! We want to see everything already. ha-ha
Was never really a fan of succulents but these are gorgeous! I’m guessing maybe only 3 layers. However many, it’s worth it.
Oh wow I love the idea of succulent dies and how the images can be colored like in the sneak peek!!!
Love the colors and layers.
It’s like you snuck into my “most favorite” folder …. sigh ….
Awww, these succulents look amazing!
Love succulents , but can’t figure the right way to color them. So curious about the post when these will be featured.
I have never owned a stamp set with succulents, but I’ll say it again, your use of colors on this sneak, is inspiring and awesome and now I want them.
Love the succulents and the unique terrarium dies!! So many possibilities!
Dear Betsy
